Exceptional
The hotel was in an excellent location and we had an lovely view from our room. We didn't need any form of transport we could walk to all them main attractions from the hotel. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Despite the winter months and the heavy snow the hotel was always warm and cosy.

Room had a canal view.
The room was TINY and we were put on the fifth floor which was fine except the elevator only goes to the fourth floor. We had to lug two 50 pound suitcases up a flight of stairs on a spiral staircase! No help from hotel staff, no porters, no notice in advance.

The Location is Perfect for city center. There is a good connection to Public Transport. It is close to a Q-Park Garage which you can Book bevor. You can book Rooms with view onto the "Grachten". There is always someone present
Breakfast was a litle to simple. They bake the rolls in the ofen, but they runn aut quickly if it's a bit bussy and you have to wait. the selection is quite limited. But for the Size of the Hotel they are doing a pretty good Job.

I experienced an issue with the shower leaking into the floor, and when I contacted the on-site staff around 8pm for assistance, the response was extremely hostile and unprofessional. The interaction made me feel unsafe and he was very aggressive, which is unacceptable in a hospitality setting.

The staff were really nice and helpful. the location was good if you like to walk. The hotel is right in front of a canal which made it really romantic and calm.
The shower did not seal properly, so after showering, the water spread everywhere. On the first night, the water was not draining correctly, so we had to call for assistance and they fixed it. However, since the shower doors did not seal properly, everything still got wet after each shower.
The breakfast was quite expensive for what they offered...

Beautiful hotel in the centre of Amsterdam, perfect for enjoying the beautiful view of the canals away from the main shopping/party streets. Rooms were well furnished and had everything we needed. Staff were friendly and we appreciated the 24 hour reception.
The only thing we didn't like was the smell of weed entering our room from other guests' rooms. This would perhaps not bother others, and but it wasn't our thing.

This is the most beautiful room I have ever stayed in. It was like being in a dream. The location is perfect and the view of the canal with Christmas lights was pure magic. I don’t mind small rooms, the design and the feeling of it was so cozy. I was sad to leave and definitely will return.

Location, location, location. Right on a quiet canal & easily walkable to everywhere.
"Paid for" breakfast definitely NOT worth it. Really just some stale croissants, cereal & boiled eggs. Better to go out.
Our room was never cleaned, as "someone" (neither of us) put a "Do not disturb" hanger on our door AFTER we left for the day (yes, I told front desk)
In-room phone did not work (called front desk from my cell phone to report it but was never fixed).
NO room in bathroom to put your "stuff," although there was certainly room for a vanity or shelf. Only available space was on side of sink. And no facial tissues (ie: klenix).
Although recently renovated, the furniture was in rough shape & the hard to operate TV was TINY.

The location was perfect for our needs. Our room overlooked the canal with a beautiful view. I loved the part of town that this hotel was located in. Close enough to get to the city center without all the noise and congestion.
This really isn’t a dislike but the room was very small. But again the location was the key.
