This 3-star hotel is located on the Herengracht Canal in central Amsterdam. The renovated 17th-century building offer free Wi-Fi, with Central Station and the Anne Frank house just a 10-minute walk away. The modern rooms at The Times Hotel feature murals of classical Dutch paintings, and each room has a flat-screen TV. Toiletries are provided. A continental breakfast is served in the bright breakfast room, and restaurants can be found within a 5-minute walk of the hotel. Westermarkt and Dam tram stops are 500-yards from the hotel. The Hotel does have a 24-hour reception, but do not have bikes to rent, we can reccomend a company nearby.

This is by far the best hotel I’ve ever stayed in Amsterdam for the price point. Very comfortable and clean, safe and practical. The location is the best.
The elevator goes up to the 4th floor only and if you’re staying on the 5th floor you have to take these really narrow and tricky stairs to get to your room. It’s quite annoying after a long day of traveling with luggage and then they tell you that you also have to carry your luggage up there now and there’s no one to help. ?

Wonderful
It's a perfect location and it's right by a canal. Walking distance to Anne Frank's House, Lord in the Attic, Metro Station and to many restaurants and shops. The staff was very friendly and helpful!

Lovely view, friendly staff, comfortable bed. My husband forgot his watch at check out and they alerted us immediately and shipped it back to us next day once I sent the label. So prompt and kind!

Great location! Wonderful, friendly staff who were very kind.
For the price paid, our room was underwhelming to say the least. Extremely small, even for Amsterdam standards, dark and dingy. Have a feeling our room may have been repurposed from a previous storage room with the way the sole window was tiny and looked into a wall, the ceiling felt low (had to dip my head in a couple spots) and there was only really space for one of us to put unpack and pop our luggage (only one tiny closet/hanging rack that held maybe four items). The shower doesn’t have the best ventilation, and as a result think there may also have been some mold spores starting to grow. Bed was decent, just needed fresh pillows- provided ones had seen their lifetime use.

The room was very old and floor was not clean. Couple bugs ran across the floor. We were not informed ahead that we would be going down a flight of stairs to a sub level. My husband is getting a knee replacement so this was painful for him and there were no other rooms available. The bed was very comfortable though, staff was friendly and location was good.
