This 3-star hotel is located on the Herengracht Canal in central Amsterdam. The renovated 17th-century building offer free Wi-Fi, with Central Station and the Anne Frank house just a 10-minute walk away. The modern rooms at The Times Hotel feature murals of classical Dutch paintings, and each room has a flat-screen TV. Toiletries are provided. A continental breakfast is served in the bright breakfast room, and restaurants can be found within a 5-minute walk of the hotel. Westermarkt and Dam tram stops are 500-yards from the hotel. The Hotel does have a 24-hour reception, but do not have bikes to rent, we can reccomend a company nearby.

Great location, it was clean, had cute decor, the room size was great and the staff was friendly.
The narrow staircase when trying to take up and bring down my luggage was frustrating. I opted for a hotel with an elevator only to not have elevator access.

The location of The Times Hotel is great. Central Station is an easy 15 walk. The beds were very comfortable. We stayed in a canal view room. The windows opened which added to the experience of seeing and hearing boats go by. The staff was pleasant and welcoming.

Easy walking distance to metro and places throughout the downtown area
Stairs were a little difficult for some of the group. The staff helped get the luggage up and down.

The location was perfect. We could easily access everything we wanted to do and see. It was also quiet.t
Based on location, The Times Hotel has so much potential. However, they are missing several key components: 1) The hotel is dated and tired. It makes it seem dirty. There is nothing attractive about the rooms. 2) Get some new towels! I have travelled extensively and stayed in many different kinds of hotels. I have never encountered towels so threadbare and raggy. For the rates charged, I think they could at least provide decent towels. 3) Finally, I think the people who work there are mssing a key component of the hospitality industry…be Hospitable! They staff were so unfriendly and borderline surly.

The Romanian receptionist was very friendly and offered great customer service to us and other hotel guests.

Girl reception was nice with late check out
Extreme maruana/hashish odor as hotel is next to busy coffee shop and most of all the decorared the entry with flowers st 07:00/08:00 o clock while we were sleeping and they forgot to clean the room

The view was amazing and the location as well! The staff working there is really welcoming and nice.
There was a loud sound of engines all night that made it really hard to sleep! ( 5th floor )

Location was great. Day staff was nice
Room 551! Don't get it. Paid extra for deluxe room. The room was sooooo noisy from i assume rooftop units, i maybe slept 2 hours per night. It was like torture. Plus elevator only goes to 4th floor. Very steep windey steps to 5th floor. Honestly though, the noise was unbearable .

The hotel was in an excellent location and we had an lovely view from our room. We didn't need any form of transport we could walk to all them main attractions from the hotel. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Despite the winter months and the heavy snow the hotel was always warm and cosy.
