I was mixed between the two branches of the hotel . As this hotel is far from everything in Amsterdam , except the metro ,

Room was clean, there were nice social areas, this housing is mostly for international students. There are facilities like laundry which you can do through the app. The bathroom is very clean with good soaps. There is also AC in the room. Amsterdam is a beautiful city. The area feels very safe.
No microwave, fridge. The location is far from the center and usually requires a bus transfer. You can track the central station via metro.

The staff at Social Hub West have been very nice, friendly, and helpful.
I've stayed there for close to one month in extended stay, and the real perks of extended stay (free rental bike, free gym, free laundry, free shared kitchen space, free study space) has been a great asset to the stay. Easy access to public transport bringing you to different train stations (Sloterdijk or Zuid), from where you're able to catch a train, or if you're there by car, the highway (A10) is just around the corner.
Special shout out to Bori and one of the male receptionists from Turkey (not sure, I believe he's called Salomon?!?), who truly went above and beyond to help me get settled in and make me feel at home: two gems!!
The laundry can get pretty crowded at times causing long waiting times and having to jump in once something becomes available.
The gym can also be crowded at times, and although the hotel had just brought in new equipment, not all guests clean up after themselves. Sometimes you can find the whole gym a "mess" with weights and boxes laying around.

We liked the location for our purposes.
On arrival our room was unsatisfactory. A very small double bed with a lamp attached to the headboard making it impossible for two people to sleep on. A dirty pillow and stained carpet. We asked for a room change and were offered a room in the student accommodation which was unsatisfactory to us. The staff arranged for the lamp to be removed from the headboard, a clean pillow was provided but the stained carpet remained. Really poor quality room (room 1306). Having arrived after our journey we had the inconvenience of persuading the staff to take our complaint seriously and waiting for them to attempt to rectify our issues. We have stayed here before a few times with no such issues in the past.

Comfortable bed. Spacious bathroom with a great shower. Dinner was microwaved (staff were open about this) but tasted great and well presented. Very good breakfast selection
