I liked the breakfast area and the easy check-in process that didn't require the hotel staff to get involved. Additionally, the room was very clean and the bathroom facilities worked efficiently, the soap they offered smelled very delightful too.
My hotel room was broken into and my backpack was stolen with my passport. I talked to the staff multiple times about seeing any security footage or record of anyone scanning my door to get into the room, and they refuse to provided. They told me that they would compensate my room, but once I got back to America, they decided to not follow through with that decision. Overall, I am extremely disappointed and have not recommended this place to a lot of people who travel to Amsterdam. I also convinced multiple people who use to stay there all the time to not go there anymore because of this issue.

The room was filthy and not up to our expectations. Additionally, in our group someone had their room broken into, their passport stolen, and their room turned upside down and clothes thrown everywhere. Having a hotel with a younger demographic of clients and safety is unable to maintain is unacceptable. I will never stay in a social hub ever again.

The check-in process was very straightforward and quick so we could get to the room in no-time. The room was fine, basic but well equipped. The location close to the Metro is very practical.
The room was pretty dirty, there were hairs and stains in the shower. The blanket was on the thin side so I woke up cold a few times, and the pillow was so tough that I had to switch sides all night to stop my ears from getting crushed against my head. It might not have been the most expensive hotelroom, but it wasn't the cheapest option, so I would've expected more.

We only stayed one night, but had a nice cozy room.
The curtains and carpet were a little dirty and the water in our sink wasn't going down in our room. We weren't able to pull up the drain plug ourselves. But other than that our stay was good

All the staff was very friendly. There's tram and metro stations very close to the hotel. There's a water refill station at the lobby which is very useful.
In our room, there's a lamp over the bed that was too close to the mattress. It was almost impossible not to hit your head.

Clean, modern and comfortable rooms, which are well sound-proofed. Bed/bedding were great- I slept very well. Staff were very friendly and efficient. Good value for money for Amsterdam, which is an expensive city for hotels.
Lobby is a little cluttered- get rid of those hanging banners which I kept walking into! Breakfast was good, but a little pricey. 24 hour coffee machine was broken for my entire stay. Had to wait to check-in, because the system was down: need a manual back-up!
Location is not great- no local shops or cafés. Metro station is a few steps away, so very handy- but journey time to central Amsterdam quite long. Tram stop for line 13 is also handy, but that line is on diversion till 2027, so not as useful as it might have been. However, connection to the airport via Lelylaan station is fast and easy.

I stay here all the time. maybe twice a year. I love the friendly service, location, and the cafe inside. The "social" vibe and community there is unlike any hotel chain.
Usually have great experiences but this one was not the best. Luckily the staff assured me they would make things right on my next visit. I am looking forward to that. But this time there was a cleanliness issue and even bigger issue with getting a simple problem resolved with me room. Nonetheless I will update when i return again.

Close to the Metro station
I really wanted to like this place, but unfortunately, our stay wasn’t great:
• The elevator was out of service for our entire stay, and it seemed like no one even tried to fix it. We ended up carrying our luggage up four floors by stairs. Someone tried to help, but couldn’t make it past the second floor, so we had to bring the rest up ourselves.
• When checking out, we needed help again, but the phone in our room didn’t work and we later found out none of the room phones do.
• Every time someone opened a door on our floor, the air pressure made our door shake like someone was trying to come in. It was unsettling and made the room feel less secure.
• The room felt overpriced for what it offered we found cleaner and quieter hotels nearby for €50 less per night.
• The coffee machine in the common area made extremely weak coffee, basically like tinted water.

Near public transportation, good Cafe food and drinks. Breakfast is good and cheaper than outside.
1. Double bed is too small for two people.
2. Room clean up two days once only.
3. One of the ceiling light was a bit working. Informed but not fixed throughout my stay.

The staff were friendly and nice.
The phone in the room didn’t work, so every time I had to go to receptionist (from our building to the receptionist building) to request such as exchange of towels.
Upon check-in, the self checking machine was not in order and had to wait in line for manual checkin. It took so much time.
And the shower was clogged so the shower room got filled so quickly with water.
The bed and pillow weren’t that good.
