The front staff were helpful. Using the plumbing in the bathroom to the heat the towels is genius.
Trash on the street outside the hotel.

Good
Great ambience in sitting area. Restaurant just ok. Staff was excellent and location was great.
Room a bit dated. No place for hanging clothes. No drawers or shelves for clothes. Room on first floor in back. Was not told it’s next to service entrance for hotel/restaurant. Very noisy.

Room was small, very bad bed for price which was very expensive for what it was. Staff great. Breakfast just okay.
Beds terrible.

Wonderful
The room was very interesting with a canal view.
Great location. We were able to walk to almost everything.
Interesting vibe in the active lobby/lounge. Bar tenders very obliging.
Had great breakfast service. One dinner - a brilliant hamburger.
Staff were extremely helpful, cheerful and knowledgeable.
We missed things like bathrobes and other room amenities.
Closet would be nice.

Very Poor
At check in you have me a key card for a different room. I had to back to reception at 11PM to get the actual key card for my room.
The air conditioning in the room at full blast with no option to heat the room when it is already cold outside made my stay very uncomfortable.
You don’t even have so much as a bag of peanuts or a bag of chips in the room.
For almost €600 per night, you think you could have some snacks in the room?
Maybe you could have a normal shower… with I don’t know… a door or a curtain… so that the entire bathroom doesn’t flood with water.
My room wasn’t cleaned when I came back from working all day and had to take calls in the lobby/bar area while someone cleaned my room. Only to have your waitress kick me out of the lobby because lap tops aren’t allowed after 5PM.
Your restaurant closes at 9PM. This is a hotel restaurant. What kind of hotel restaurant closes at 9PM:
Get it together guys!!
Worst hotel experience in a very long time.

Extremely charming hotel- the “ cosy” room is perfect for one or two people . The glass ware in the rooms is crystal and they provide free water/ milk and juice in your room fridge! The bed is amazing I slept so well!!
Excellent location to the trams and the city as a whole!

Lovely hotel. The bar downstairs has a great vibe. Hotel bars are often lack character but the bar is open to non guests and has a lovely relaxed feel. The room was very good, comfy and quiet. Only quibble was breakfast was slow. Didn’t bother me but make sure you allow plenty of time if the hotel is busy. Location brilliant as well. Great for exploring Amsterdam.

Good
Excellent location. Great space, rooms and decor. Delicious breakfast. Dinner menu wasn’t compelling. The hotel misses the mark when it comes to tourism customer service and the small quality details - the staff were not professional; bathroom amenities are limited; the room refrigerator has gratis water, seltzer and half and half (directing guests to purchase items behind the lobby desk or through room service - which is slow). Main issue is that the entire lobby/lounge area is filled every day with local remote workers on their laptops from 7am, all day long. No place for guests to sit. I felt like I was walking through my office every morning. Pretty stressful. At the same time I felt this hotel isn’t living up to the business and hospitality potential this property deserves.

There was no separate residence lounge area, was very crowded with people on laptops etc during the day, so we could not enjoy the hotel as a guest.

Wonderful
The location and the restaurant downstairs and bar were good. The staff were awesome
I felt my room felt a little bit too small if I were to compare it side by side the cost of the hotel. I could have gotten a bigger space in other 5 star hotels.

Exceptional
Very central location, quiet street, canal view, extremely kind and helpful staff, very good breakfast, great bar and free bikes
We chose a canal view superior room and the room that was firstly allocated to us was under canal side but had small windows and a lot of beams / attic like. We asked to change and had a lovely room, smaller but with a much better view.
