The hostel is very nice, clean, and comfortable. The staff are super friendly and helpful. Great location – easy to reach by tram 14 from Central Station or Zuid. The facilities are modern and well maintained

I liked everything about the property, but I guess some people doesn’t know that bathroom is included the price. Apart from that one person who didn’t really smell nice. My stay was really nice.

Location was good, some staff members were amazing. Beds were comfortable and other guests were nice. The floor could have been cleaner but this would require guests removing their shoes at the entrance of the room to somehow guarantee a cleaner environment.
Poor communication and unprofessional staff behavior. At checkout, I was told I needed to return "the bag with bed sheets" - this was never explained at check-in. Worse, a receptionist became extremely stressed when I tried to help by removing my sheets after the first night. Instead of simply providing new sheets, she was confrontational and rude. What shocked me even more, was that she was low-key blaming the cleaning personal for not speaking proper english? It's just bed sheets, calm down. When I later asked if she was okay (she seemed stressed), she was dismissive. While other staff were pleasant, this experience soured the stay. Hotels should: 1) Ensure staff can handle guest interactions professionally, 2) Communicate all checkout requirements at check-in.

Warning be aware and take into consideration. That the HOSTELS THE BEE AND THE ELEFENT.which located 100 meter away from each others. and owned by the same investors group. both of them are health hazard.i slept in both of them about 10 days each. all windows.in both hostels are closed at night time.There is not enough fresh air to breathe.there was approx 15 shoes and sucks on the floor.and a huge garbage can inside the rooms.with food raimining And ut smells very bad.the ventilation did not blow enough fresh air. I got a red eyes.headache. Dizziness.and dry lips. At the BEE hostel..at 5:00 am .I rushed out to the street. to breathe a fresh air.and vomited.THE ELEFENT building.it is an historical building.approximately 140 years old.and has no hot water in some showers.because each shower has it's own boiler.once somebody takes a shower you need to wait.until the boiler heat the water again. The rooms and the lobby are stuffy and stinking specifically at night time.while people sleeps. the ELEFENT hostel it is an historical building.it used to be a jewish perants home.but in the 40S.the .in addition my friend DEENA got biten by a bed bug. . the ELEFENT hostel it is an historical one.it used to be a jewish perants home.but in the 40S. the natzi deported the resident to Auschwitz and survivors concentration and extermination camps.you can find 31 coppers plaques with their name in front of the building I highly recommend to you not to book there.because you will.pay to suffer this is a copy of the Nederland law. In the Netherlands, the owner of an apartment hotel or hostel is legally obligated to provide a safe and habitable environment for tenants and guests, similar to the rules for any landlord. This includes performing major repairs, maintaining the property, and respecting the privacy of the guest, who must be allowed to use the property for its intended purpose and have their basic comfort provided for.

It was easy to stay there a few days, the Staff was really nice, beds were good and the showers and toilets were looked after and clean. There was a nice lobby to sit for a coffee. Location was also okay there was a tram stop right outside although I didn't use it, I preferred to walk downtown as it's not very far. Nearby were plenty of options for a drink or late food, all of them decent.

The receptionist staff were very helpful and did their best to keep us informed about daily activities through their WhatsApp group. The beds are comfortable and the air-conditioning system works efficiently. Bed curtains provide good privacy and are perfect for guests who prefer darkness. During late hours, the lights operate in a low-dimmer mode, reducing brightness by about 75% to avoid disturbing those who are sleeping. Lockers are conveniently located in the middle of the pantry area, and the use of electrical key cards helps keep belongings secure. Showers and toilets are clean and function very well. Hair dryers are available in the bathroom near the window, so there is no need to bring your own. In addition, there are security card access systems on the entrance doors, providing an extra level of safety. Guests staying on one floor cannot access other sections of the building; access is limited only to their assigned room and locker.

Cozy, clean and the staff was wonderful. The location is almost perfect..
The mattress could be more comfortable but the room was clean and the bathroom as well.

The installations are very new and clean I never found a toilet without toilet paper or any trash on the floor. The bed was very comfortable. The only issue would be the lockers, they’re not big enough to fit a carry on, everyone leaves it on the floor, but I never felt like my stuff was unsafe. The hostel does not have any social gatherings or activities but I don’t mind this.

Very Good
The property is clean and the staff were pretty friendly. It is a little further from downtown than some other stays but I didn’t mind as it was quieter and still walkable downtown, it will just take a little longer.
I got the third bunk and you need to make your own bed, which can be a real pain. The stairs could be difficult to go up but it did not bother me as I knew this and only needed to go up one set of stairs. Just mentioning it for others.
