Located on Amsterdam’s famous Dam Square just 10 minutes’ walk from Centraal Station, Swissôtel Amsterdam offers a fitness center. Location was super excellent. Right in the heart of city and close to all attractions.

Location! Location! Location! Provided taxi to the hotel but of course you have to pay.
Some parts of the hotel are clear of the wear and tear of usage. Elevator should be better kept. Gym is not bad but suffers from an outdated/difficult to use all-in-one machine.

Location was lively with a lot of foot traffic outside and shopping nearby.
Old. No plugs anywhere convenient. We played a ridiculous game of plug mambo the entire time. Bathroom was a small joke with the worst location possible

Near central place. No cigarette smell in the room
The room (even premium) was small Very old and not renovated with scratches all over the walls Dust outside the regular serviced areas (like walls, lights etc.) The towel drier in the bathroom did not work and the string that you could pull out to hand your towels or clothes in the bathroom didn’t work as well. I asked reception staff to fix that. Apparently it’s not important and nobody came to resolve the issue.
