Great central location and close to the main train station.
Our hotel window looked directly into the stairwell of a nearby store. We had to keep the curtains closed while we were in the room.

Upon arrival, i was greeted with a warm welcome by Steven. Who went above and beyond to make sure our stay was extra special. We were upgraded to a suite over looking the square. The room was so spacious with a king size bed. House keeping called in twice daily, once to clean the room then in the evening they came to provide a turn down service. The house keeping staff was very polite and keep the room looking so warm and comfortable. When we checked out, I was also greeted with a big smile by Elena who, asked if everything was OK during our stay, were we happy. She even told us we could leave our bags in their holding room as we checked out at 12mid day and our flight was bit till 7pm. Nothing was a problem. This is picture is the view from our suite. Beautiful view. But with electronic blinds and curtains kept our room dark at night and the triple glazed window kept the noise out too.

the beds and pillows were very comfortable, best ive had in any hotel. The location fabulous, very quiet hotel no noise whatsoever. Staff very friendly and helpful. Very Hot water in abundance for a bath in a winter climate. Bar was beautiful.
coffe machine was in a cupboard and difficult to get to. not enough milk for tea. Hairdryer not very powerful.

Excellent staff at the hotel, very accommodating. I liked the option to decline room service in favour of swissotel planting a tree towards their environmental targets.
The restaurant attached (Royal 98) had some unhelpful staff who tried to refuse the discount supplied by the hotel, this was resolved however.

Disappointing
We just like the location of the hotel.
The room was very small, and there was only one window, which was not visible from the bed. The bed was surrounded by walls, making the space feel very depressing. It was not even possible for two people to walk around comfortably. A hotel with a similar price and in a similar location can be found.
