Too far away from airport. Shuttle service a disaster! Not on time - staff unhelpful - could have missed flight.

Lge 2 block hotel joined by corridor several floors up, on wider perimeter of Schiphol Airport. Reached by free shuttle.
Surprisingly and pleasantly quiet despite location also being next to a multi lane road.
Large well equipped en suite room, with comfortable large bed, good quiet a/c , TV, wifi and charge ports, etc.
Spa with small hot swimming pool.
Restaurant crowded as the trattoria was shut and extra guests from a cancelled flight, but staff cheerful and waiting times acceptable; menu reasonable.
It was not cheap - but cheaper than some of the big chain hotels.
Did not enjoy being splashed by a youngish boy repeatedly jumping into the pool, unchecked by his mother.
It did not worry us but the corridors were long so much walking with luggage and staff were not helping any customers with their luggage,etc.

Large room. Bath and shower. Great selection of tea.
The meals available by room service were not interesting especially for a vegetarian.

Close to the airport. Breakfast buffet was also very good
Dinner at the restaurant was poor. Service was almost non existent.
Shuttle in the morning needs improvement. First van would not pick up passengers although empty, had to go to another hotel. Second van could only handle 4 additional people. Manager said they were calling another van but took a long time to arrive and no priority for these waiting the longest.

A good location for a stop over
Restaurant service was very poor and staff were indifferent- we waited more than half hour for a drink and then gave up! Food quality was below standard considering the standing of the Steigenberger group! Would not stay there again.

We loved the hotel, we came here after our last hotel was very dirty. This was like a breathe of fresh air, staff are amazing, the swimming and spa facilities are also a delight. We would definitely go back.
