beautiful convenient location right on the canal, clean beds & bathrooms, big windows that open, friendly helpful staff, cafe, laundry, elevators
the bathrooms could have been a bit cleaner but not bad at all (i blame guy guests not the staff lol)

First the location is great. Overall cleanliness of the bathroom and toilet is well maintained. Staff is friendly and helpful.
Good that room lockers are available to hang clothes and keep valuables.
No common refrigerator for food storage. No kitchen where you can cook food. Hot water is available. Room is small, area is tight when 2 person standing in small space between beds.

Clean, modern, great location. Friendly staff. A 15 minute walk from the train station. Located in front of a canal on a quieter part of town. Room was quiet.
The fact that you have to make your own bed is absurd considering the very high price you are paying for a simple dorm bed. Arriving and having to put on bed sheets is the absolute last thing you want to do after travelling. Shower is badly designed so the floor turns in to a pool after a shower.

The location was perfect. It was within walking distance to everything! Short commute from central station which was ideal because that is where I was coming from. I felt very safe in this area as a solo traveler. Great common areas and it was very clean

I had a wonderful stay at Stayokay Hostel Amsterdam and I’m truly grateful for the experience. The staff were incredibly kind, helpful, and always ready to guide me whenever I had questions. As it was my first time in Amsterdam, they really made me feel welcome and showed me how hospitable Dutch people are.
A special thank you to Babette for helping me resolve my issue and to Cristina for her amazing tips on exploring the city — they made my trip so much better.
I would definitely recommend this hostel to anyone visiting Amsterdam!

Great position to visit the city, clean toilets ad room and comfortable beds.
You have to make your own bed, which is a bit hard when you are in the top bunk.

One of the cleanest hostels in Amsterdam. The only missing part is that they don’t provide breakfast, but there’s a small kitchen with a microwave on the ground floor. Also, you can wash your clothes for 6 euros and dry them for 3 euros.
