This hotel ROCKS! This is an upscale yet affordable place to stay when in Amsterdam. It’s incredibly comfortable and stylish and the safe were exceptional!
I highly recommend this hotel. The ferry to cross over the river runs 24/7 so if you want to to be close to the major attractions in Amsterdam but want to be just away from the bustle and hustle, this place is it!
Super dark hallways but it also gave it a vibe too.

The location across the Ij is conveniently reached by a ferry that goes back and forth 24 hours a day at very regular intervals; rooms are spacious and have a music motif (you can listen to old records on a record player).
It is not a negative point but it takes some getting used to: the shower and the toilets are in two separate rooms; the door to the shower is also the door to the room, which can make your experience of the shower somewhat claustrophobic.

Almost everything! I usually only write when I like a stay, and always ignore when I don't like something, but this time I decided to comment about everything that happened to me.
First of all, I came 1 day prior to my check in, to ask if there was a chance to have an early check in. Tbh the guy on the reception was friendly, and he said won't promise anything, BUT he said if there is a room in my category available, they will check me in early with a rate of 15EU per each hour. I wanted to check in at 9am, so I'd pay 15*6=90EU to check in 6 hours prior to my original check in. Also he said that if there is no room available,I can still use the shower at the gym anytime
When I came the next day at 9am I approached one of the female "employees" but my experience was the poorest.
First of all I tried to explain what the guy from yesterday told me , and while I was doing that, the girl was not even looking at me, as if she was checking something in the computer. When I finished my speech, she instantly replied "there is no room in your category, we can not check you in". I was in my mind like "okay...", even though I checked it previously at booking.com and there were still rooms available of my category. Then I said alright, let's try a second thing, and I asked her "what would be the earliest time I can check in". The reply was "it's 3pm".
I was already pissed, but I said okay, I don't wanna spoil my good mood, still being polite to her. And then:
I said "the guy also said that.." and here the girl just interrupted me and said "we can not check you in earlier for 15eu per hour, there is no room available in your category". I was like, "can you let me finish my sentence? The guy told me I can still take a shower at the gym.."
There were 2 more things that drove me crazy afterwards, but I cant fit it all in this blank, limits to symbols.

House keeping was bad, the hotel employees were extremely rude there was so much noise from the parties in the hotel and the building was very confusing for the price we paid i expected something way better and the location was far from everything in the city

Very unique stay! Music lovers will enjoy. From check in to check out, everything was perfect. Staff, amenities, elevators, rooms were great! Location is across the river, ferry runs almost directly in front, free of charge, every 10 minutes, 24hrs.

I loved the location it’s literally right opposite the central metro station and you can get to it via the ferry which is free and working 24/7, I also liked the uniqueness of the concept
Upon my departure and checking out, I nicely asked if there is an empty room or quiet corner so I can perform my prayer which would take max 5 mins only, but the staff said they couldn’t find anything, so I ended up going behind the stares and prayed quickly which was a hazard because I could have fallen from the stares if someone opened the staff door behind me

Ventilation should be better since the windows don't open. Even on the max setting It barely does anything. I want to feel the wind.
No swimming pool.
The Butcher restaurant tried to add a 10% service charge "because we are American." I've lived in Amsterdam for 10 years and this is the first time I have seen this, it was quite the shock. They removed it when I complained.
This is Amsterdam, not Las Vegas, be sure to check your bill.

Beautiful luxury hotel! Staff was amazing and so friendly. You get a welcome drink upon arrival. The hotel rooms feel exclusive and private despite being connected to the Adam Lookout and other attractions. The rooms are exceptionally designed. We loved our stay here!
