The location was excellent and the boat to reach the city is free and frequent, the bed was large and very comfortable, and the views from the room were fantastic. Lots of space for parking the car.
Near some nice restaurants on the North side if you want to escape the typical city centre eateries and mix with the local crowd.
The style was a little too industrial for our taste, which took away some of the overall comfort. There are limited communal areas to relax outside of the room, aside from the Butcher restaurant below, which was quite loud during our stay (there was an Expo on). It felt more like hotel rooms occupying a few floors of a building rather than a traditional hotel experience. Parking was expensive but tops out at 55 Euros per day, it is not run by the hotel but is in the same building - factor this into the price of the stay if you are bringing a car.

It's very good that the hotel is close to the centre, but at the same time in a noisy place. It's not noisy near the hotel like in the centre, it's very cool.
Maybe it's my pure opinion, but I like it when employees have a different dress code. It's something like a shirt, jacket, tie. Your option is by no means a minus for the hotel. Understand correctly, your option is by no means considered bad. I really like your dress code. I'm just a fan of classic style

This hotel was unreal! We reallly enjoyed all the facilities it had was a great location with a free ferry from the centraal station to the hotel every 5 minutes 24 hours a day and takes around 2 minutes to cross

The location across the Ij is conveniently reached by a ferry that goes back and forth 24 hours a day at very regular intervals; rooms are spacious and have a music motif (you can listen to old records on a record player).
It is not a negative point but it takes some getting used to: the shower and the toilets are in two separate rooms; the door to the shower is also the door to the room, which can make your experience of the shower somewhat claustrophobic.
