possibly the most comfortable lay-over hotel in AMS.
Amazing salad and fish n' chip.
great bar and great restaurant service with not exaggerated pricing,
the room was great especially the hot shower.
They don't serve the bife de ojo steak in the bar anymore. That was a fine cut and exceptional for the price.

The location is very convenient, a walking distance from the terminal. It was easy to walk to terminal for food if not interested in hotel restaurant.
The hotel did not provide face towels. It took 2-3 hours for the room to be cleaned. Had to wait till the afternoon to have the room ready.

Convenient location for early flights, soft pillows, bed, room size.
The staff at the front desk was having a lot of issues...basically one out of three of the women there was able to check people in, and there was a line. The one woman able to check people in took forever with a couple that cut in front of me because the other woman was taking forever to attend them to check in. It was late, I was tired and I had to wait quite a while to get checked in. Not pleasant at all, especially for the price. I expected more from a Marriot/Sheraton.
The blow dryer was broken, thank goodness I didn't have my hair fully wet, I had a very early flight (hense me staying there) so no time to have staff bring me another one. The wifi wasn't working and the sensor light in the bathroom was annoying, turning on and off constantly with a click...would be much better having it on a switch.

The location inside the airport was excellent. I asked for an early check-in, and they had our room ready at 11:30am instead of 3pm, which was very helpful considering our flight came in about 10:30.

Great location and easy to access. Beautiful lobby and facilities. Very very busy check in area. The staff was very nice however they had a lot of new staff who were not able to assist and only one person (very nice manager Rocio) who seemed to be the only one able to actually answer questions.
The room was very spacious. Nice bathroom and amenities.
The room AC didn't blow cold air, it was warmer than anywhere else (the hallway was significantly cooler).
The check in process could be refined, and maybe have more than one knowledgeable person at the check in.

Very nice hotel in a convenient location, right in the airport. Clean, modern, comfortable and quiet. Looks either new or recently refurbished. Chose this hotel because we wanted to be at the airport for a morning flight. It was a bit pricey but it was a great stay. Chose to eat a late dinner at their Commune restaurant. The food and service were excellent.

airport location super convenient; beautifully appointed room; silent; great shower with conditioner; loved that there was an option to just get a coffee and a croissant at the bar for breakfast; lunch was fast and delicious.

Wonderfully easy access when you need a flight from Schiphol: both train arrival and flight departure were within minutes' reach.
The price. So far, the Schiphol Sheraton was the most expensive room we've ever had, except for a hotel in Tahiti. We paid $445.33 for 1 night in the Schiphol Sheraton.
Three weeks later, we were in a 4 star hotel in Washington where the price was $125.- / night. The big difference is the room that was being offered in Washington: separate entry section with couch and TV, 2 double beds with another TV and a small office size area. A week before the Washington hotel, we were in a 4 star hotel in Sacramento (3-diamond AAA rating). Similar story: $152.90 / night and breakfast included.
We've been to other Sheratons in the past but the Schiphol's price was certainly inversely correlated to the room / amenities being offered in other hotels.
