Location to Amsterdam Central and water views.
The room layout was odd - sink near bed not shower and toilet. There were hangers but no closet and drawers. Curtains were L shaped and did not open all the way. Reception staff was great. Restaurant staff was rude, uninformed and not accommodating.

We didn’t have breakfast at the hotel. The area was nice.
The pillows on the bed were very bad. They were lumpy. They need to be replaced. Otherwise the room was very nice. The concierge was hardly available and not very knowledgeable. The desk staff were very pleasant but not too knowledgeable about the area.

We had a wonderful stay at Room Mate Aitana. The hotel is modern, stylish, very clean and in a great location. What made our stay truly special was the amazing hospitality from the staff. Everyone was friendly, professional and always willing to help. We especially appreciated the thoughtful welcome and the attention given to us as a family travelling with our little son. It made our Amsterdam experience even more memorable. A special thank you to Paloma and the team for their kindness and excellent service.

This was the nicest hotel one could visit while traveling! Everything was excellent from attentive, welcoming staff to the great food and lovely dining room to the cleanliness of the room and hotel. Bed and shower was excellent. A coffee express and tea kettle was in the room. There were refreshments offered to guests in the nice lobby area. Even the location was fun, on the harbor and restaurants close by. We loved the Indian restaurant right across the street!
