Excellent location. Easy to reach key locations of the city. Great size for a party of 3. Place was very clean. Bed and shower were very comfortable. Complimentary bottled water was a nice surprise.

Excellent location , short walk into Dam Square and all the sites, Excellent transport links on Rokin via the Metro and Tram lines with lots of bars and cafes to choose from. An excleent base to begin your trip to Amsterdam. Staff are incerribly helpful and couldnt do enogh to make my stay a great experience.

It was a great location, comfortable room, a/c worked well, included breakfast was great and we looked forward to it each morning. Cappuccino machine and bacon buffet made it well worth it.
Very cozy (unexpectedly tiny) room. But we made it work without any fuss. Tv service cut out multiple times, was basically only available one of the four nights, each time they said they’ll contact the Service Provider asap but of course it was always after close of their business day, so it was always a next day fix at best.

Great deco with all the mod cons in this lovely building.. very clean with all that’s needed for a comfortable stay..
Unfortunately there wasn’t anything left to eat at 9:00am and the coffee machine wasn’t working..

We had an amazing stay in Amsterdam and Mister Highland. The location was superb, really worked well for our visit. We arrived at 630am due to early landing international Long haul fligjt and the staff were great. We were able to lock our bags away and even were able to check in around 11am luckily.
Room was great, bathroom and shower very nice. Bed was comfy.
The basin being in the main room but I understand space is critical, but just really awkward using the toilet then coming out next to the bed to was your hands/brush teeth etc.

Room: The room was clean and well-maintained, with a comfortable bed and decent amenities. It wasn’t particularly spacious, but it was functional for a short stay. It was pleasantly quiet, with no noticeable traffic noise from outside.
Location: Conveniently located within walking distance of key attractions and public transport. Great for exploring the city without needing to rely on taxis. Plenty of shops and eateries nearby made the stay feel connected and practical.
Overall: A solid option for a short city break if you prioritize location and basic comfort.
There was no lift access to the hotel room, and getting up several flights of stairs was quite difficult with two large suitcases. This could be a concern for travelers with heavy luggage or mobility limitations.

Location is convenient to everything, staff is low key but very helpful and friendly. Rooms are unique and clean.
The unusual set up of the bathroom took a little getting used to. The w/c, shower and vanity were all in different areas (not in one room).

We loved the location of the property. The reception staff were very friendly especially the intern.
The layout of the room was a little funky with the sink being right next to the bed.

Wonderful
The decor and feel of the hotel was great! Warm and welcoming. The kitchen staff at breakfast times were extremely friendly and we always looked forward to having a little chat with them all in the morning.
One thing I would say is that it would have been useful to have a working extractor in the bathroom, and on a few occasions, we had no TV service.
