Excellent decor and location.
There was a weird lamp in my room with a long chain. It makes noise when i move at night. I would consider a different lamp. Also the mirror had a blue light in it which was too bright for sleeping next to.

Staff and hotel were excellent. Kids loved the dual level room. Great location for seeing Amsterdam. Complimentary drinks were a nice little addition to the stay. Breakfast was very good also.

Location: Very good location, near shops and restaurants, a Spar just a minute down the road and Amsterdam Centraal Station in walkable distance, (15-20 mins walk) Wifi: it was the best and quickest wifi we had during our travels Free drinks: Free drinks at the reception Noise: Our room was very quiet
Strange Smell: The room had a very musty odor that seemed to be masked with room spray. A few hours before leaving we realised the air vents in both the shower and the toilet were filled with a thick, white mold substance. This would explain the smell. Please be cautious booking here, especially if you have allergies or respiratory issues. This was in room number 8. Communication: Although the hotel is sending lots of automated messages in advance and during the stay as well, when I had an issue with a change of travel plans and reached out to them over booking.com before our arrival, nobody replied to my message.

Friendly, cool decor, lovely big bed, nice shower, drinks & snacks included
Sound insulation wasn’t great, they did include earplugs. Hair conditioner would have been nice but not a biggie.
