Wonderful
Beautiful hotel, very comfortable room with fun decor, and friendly, helpful staff. Everything was immaculately clean and I particularly liked the coffee and tea station in the room.
The window was extremely diffcult to access and open and it would have been nice to have more vegan options for breakfast, but apart from that everything was fantastic. Great value for money.

Oksana was extremely rude and unpleasant. We also had a serious issue with drinking water. From the moment we checked in, we were told that we were only entitled to receive water once, and no additional water was provided in the evenings. On top of that, there was no option to even purchase water at the property.
Not having access to such a basic necessity was already very disappointing, but Oksana’s extremely rude and unhelpful attitude made the experience even worse.

Its location-it was walking distance to all the main attractions.The complimentary bar at reception was clearly added value and made up for a member of staff who didn’t seem to follow standard protocols.
Our room was extremely small with the wash hand basin in the bedroom area away from the small narrow toilet.
The staff were friendly except for one individual who would not sell us drinks from behind the reception area even though we were informed at check in that could happen

Location from Eurostar station, 13 minutes straight walk, easy to find. Great breakfast, cereals, cooked , fruit. You could have free drinks in reception before you headed out in the evening which was a really mice touch.
Everything was great, a minor point we had an attic room with steep steps, the ceiling was quite low with no view, so I'd choose my room specifically next time rather than leave to chance. But room was beautifully done out.

The room, whilst quite small, was perfect for our stay and nicely appointed.
The breakfast was OK, but nothing special.
The best two things were the location, close to the centre of things and the complimentary bar, which was great and very unexpected.
The only thing to not like, were the walls were quite thin, allowing us to hear our neighbour on the phone.

Really central, 5 mins walk from Damm Square, plenty of shops and restaurants around. We were in basement room for 3. All good although bathroom and washing area could be separated by a curtain for instance. Okay if couples or young children though. Like most Amsterdam properties it is built on a small footprint with plenty of floors. There is a lift. Complimentary drinks and snacks to be consumed in the bar area a a nice gesture. Breakfast is down a few steep stairs and was really nice as were the staff throughout. I would go back there again.

The location, staff. Room small but perfect bed, extremely comfortable. The lounge area is decorated lovely & the welcome snacks/ drinks were a lovely touch. Plus the lift was a bonus.

Great location, great breakfast, comfy beds, complimentary drinks and snack offering while sat relaxing in the reception area. Lovely big shower with great heat control and pressure.
I didn’t like the big fat pillows. Thinner ones would be a nice offering. The tv didn’t have a great selection of channels. Important for when you are spending the night relaxing if not wanting to go out. You need to add more towel hooks in the room as the only ones available were right next to and above the toilet so when flushing any dirty bacterial vapour will finds its way into the towel. Shaver and toothbrush powers points needed for charging.

Well decorated comfortable room. Buffet breakfast with plenty of choice. Located right in the centre, very accessible by tram and train. Free bar in the hotel lobby serving, wine, beer, soft drinks, tea, coffee, sweets, biscuits, crisps and peanuts, all complimentary.
Not suitable for older people with mobility issues, Steps up to the reception from the street and some rooms are only accessible by narrow steep steps, but they also have an lift/elevator to other rooms. Also you can hear everything in the room next to you.

The amplitude of the room, very curated and nicely decorated. It was a real luxury. The hotel was perfectly located to our needs and exceeded our expectations.

Disappointing
I had a very bad experince with this hotel that left a very bad taste, About a day or two prior to arrival, I got an email from the hotel asking me to replace the credit card on the account , as the credit card was not on my name, and it's their policy. Given that there was no chance in the world I would be able to book a different hotel, at a similar price, a day before arrival - I had to give them a different card, which created a huge problem for me.
Had this request been presented while I was doing the booking - I would have picked a different hotel, but given the timing that was not possible, without paying a dear price. Bringing it up at the last moment - is not acceptable and not done.
BTW, I continued my trip in Europe (including flight tickets with United), with the same card that they have refused to accept and I did not enounter any problem, so it is not a customary thing.
