Wonderful
A nice central location the room was comfortable however since we were on the street side, it was a bit noisy at night.
The bed was wonderful and comfortable however, I didn’t like the interior design of the room. It didn’t feel like it match the ambience of the hotel. The room on the street was noisy

Perfect location, within walking distance to all attractions in the city, and the metro as well which made it convenient for us. Not to mention the bed was super comfortable and super clean, the linen sheets made it soft and relaxing to sleep in. The breakfast was really tasty. We stayed twice in this hotel during our trip because of all the above. We will definitely come back and stay in this hotel. The lady at reception was also very kind and helpful to us!
The rooms that are inside facing the buildings are quiet and we were lucky to get one of them, the next time we stayed our room was facing the street and it gets noisy at night with the late nighters.

The staff were welcoming and friendly. The hotel is also stylish and has an ideal location for those interested in being near the center of Amsterdam.
The walls are paper thin, and I suspect the hotel is familiar with this given that earplugs are supplied for guests. You can not only hear everything being said in the adjacent rooms, but also any activities happening in those rooms. The room was also tiny and the mattress thin. Aesthetics over comfort.

Pleasant
The location is very convenient, just a short walk off Dam Square and most major attractions. The room was small but sufficient. Breakfast was OK.
The rooms have very poor noise insulation. I could hear the room next door having sex, I could the people in the room above me whenever they went to the toilet, and I could hear someone a few rooms away using an electric toothbrush at 1AM.

Excellent location. Easy to reach key locations of the city. Great size for a party of 3. Place was very clean. Bed and shower were very comfortable. Complimentary bottled water was a nice surprise.

Excellent location , short walk into Dam Square and all the sites, Excellent transport links on Rokin via the Metro and Tram lines with lots of bars and cafes to choose from. An excleent base to begin your trip to Amsterdam. Staff are incerribly helpful and couldnt do enogh to make my stay a great experience.

It was a great location, comfortable room, a/c worked well, included breakfast was great and we looked forward to it each morning. Cappuccino machine and bacon buffet made it well worth it.
Very cozy (unexpectedly tiny) room. But we made it work without any fuss. Tv service cut out multiple times, was basically only available one of the four nights, each time they said they’ll contact the Service Provider asap but of course it was always after close of their business day, so it was always a next day fix at best.

Great deco with all the mod cons in this lovely building.. very clean with all that’s needed for a comfortable stay..
Unfortunately there wasn’t anything left to eat at 9:00am and the coffee machine wasn’t working..

We had an amazing stay in Amsterdam and Mister Highland. The location was superb, really worked well for our visit. We arrived at 630am due to early landing international Long haul fligjt and the staff were great. We were able to lock our bags away and even were able to check in around 11am luckily.
Room was great, bathroom and shower very nice. Bed was comfy.
The basin being in the main room but I understand space is critical, but just really awkward using the toilet then coming out next to the bed to was your hands/brush teeth etc.
