Wonderful
I love the centrality of this Hotel, the Staff are exceptionally helpful and polite, rooms are spotless and quiet. In short it ticks all my boxes for an enjoyable stay and invariably is my go to when visiting Amsterdam. I started staying at these premises perhaps 25 years ago and have never been disappointed.

Location brilliant, right in Dam Square. Staff are nice and helpful. Rooms good size for a few days. Beds comfortable. Clean and tidy. Would I book again? Yes
It's hard to find your way out when the lift wasn't working. No kettle to make a brew in the morning. Bath is very high to step out when having a shower (if short, like me, 5ft.1)

Incredible location, great value for money
Terrible WiFi, and the elevator didn't work half of the time. For us it wasn't a huge issue but super problematic if you need accessibility to reach the 4th floor by stairs...

Location - just a brilliant location that is perfect for walking everywhere or, if you prefer, getting a tram instead. The rooms were clean with towels and toiletries changed every day and all the staff were friendly and helpful.
Although 3*, it is quite basic. You are definitely paying for the location and not the amenities but some things could easily be rectified:
1. A Smart T.V. in the rooms would allow you to cast Netflix or Prime for better viewing on a cold and rainy day.
2. Tea & Coffee in the rooms would be great to have. This is available free from a machine in the foyer from midday but it's not the same as having it available in the room.
3. The WiFi is terrible - I had to stick with roaming as the signal was so dire it just wasn't worth signing into
