Rho is on the edge of Dam Square, half a mile from Amsterdam Central Train Station. It has free Wi-Fi and the lobby is an impressive Art Deco-style former theater. All of the rooms at Rho Hotel include satellite TV and a refrigerator. They also each have a private bathroom with a shower. Breakfast is served each morning in the dining room which overlooks Dam Square. It includes a selection of bread, cereals and a few warm dishes including scrambled eggs. There is a small bar and vending machines in the lobby for snacks and drinks such as coffee. Hotel Rho is 175 yards from the Kalverstraat shopping area and from the Dam Square tram stop. The Anne Frank House and Rembrandt House Museum are both within a 10-minute walk of the hotel.

We recently stayed at the Rho Hotel Amsterdam and it was the perfect base for exploring the city. The location is absolutely unbeatable—it's in the heart of the red light district, near royal palace and Dam Square. The room was clean, spacious, and included everything needed. The daily buffet breakfast had a huge variety of options, from hot scrambled eggs and bacon to fresh breads, cereals and even pancakes. Every staff member I met was incredibly helpful and friendly. Our rooms were ready earlier so we had the opportunity to check in. They also offered us breakfast for our flight as it was very early in the morning.

I loved the location and the service.
The fact that the building it’s really old and the floors are noisy, you can hear the noise of the steps of the guests of other rooms.
