Rho is on the edge of Dam Square, half a mile from Amsterdam Central Train Station. It has free Wi-Fi and the lobby is an impressive Art Deco-style former theater. All of the rooms at Rho Hotel include satellite TV and a refrigerator. They also each have a private bathroom with a shower. Breakfast is served each morning in the dining room which overlooks Dam Square. It includes a selection of bread, cereals and a few warm dishes including scrambled eggs. There is a small bar and vending machines in the lobby for snacks and drinks such as coffee. Hotel Rho is 175 yards from the Kalverstraat shopping area and from the Dam Square tram stop. The Anne Frank House and Rembrandt House Museum are both within a 10-minute walk of the hotel.

Close to everything, the breakfast has a large variety, the room was clean and the staff is always helpful and friendly if you have questions! Easy transportation by tram, train or taxi.

We had a wonderful experience at this hotel, starting with the excellent service. We were welcomed by Francesco at the front desk, who made a difference from the very first minute and took our visit to the next level. He took the time to give us the best tips and suggestions for our trip, and was always attentive every time we walked in or out during his shift. ​The hotel has an unbeatable location for the price, allowing us to walk to many tourist attractions. The room was very spacious, comfortable, and with everything we needed close by. Highly recommended.

Near to all attractions, central train station and shopping/restaurants. Very prime location
Unfortunately the there were no water in the toilets between 9 AM to 3 PM, this was due to maintenance work by local city administration. We were informed by the hotel reception prior to check in
