Its location, breakfast and lobby
It was very hot when I stayed there and one little fan in my room was insufficient to keep it cool. Also, the floor in the shower is very slippery and a hazard for seniors. The TV is tiny - much smaller than the average computer monitor.

Location only.
They have very limited AC rooms. Nowadays every hotel has AC rooms. I booked the hotel in a hurry and did not check in the given facilities.
They gave me a table Fan to survive at 35 degree temperature in June.

Wonderful
Everything went well. Walking distance from the Amsterdam Central Station and the City. The Dam Square is in 1 minute walking, and the Royal Palace is also nearby. The room was good and clean. Breakfast was very good. We could communicate with the staff in different languages, Dutch, English and Spanish and that's fabulous. Maybe in the future also in the Papiamento. I have nothing negative to say, only positive. Hope to stay there another time again.

The location is everything. The Hotel located in the Center of Amsterdam exactly in the Dam.
The size is a bit small.

Staff was great. Driving a car into center Amsterdam is not easy but the front desk was very helpful. The woman who checked us in made 3 restaurant recommendations. We ate at 2 and both were GREAT. Felt like non touristy places great recs

It was very old. It needs refurbishing and updates. For 400 Euro a night, it was a very small, tight, old room.

Excellent location, very nice staff
I paid too much, probably 4 times what I should have paid due to peak season.
Hotel is old and need renovations and they need to invest a bit in rooms since they are very poor and has no amenities at all. They need to offer other good things, beside the location.
