Raddison Blu is a beautiful hotel, excellent location ,while not being too noisy. A quick walk away from Dam square. Our room was extremely spacious and the breakfast was great with a vast selection of hot and cold food.

I liked the look of the building and the location. I was later on told by a guide that the hotel building used to be some sort of important building for nobility in the past. The room was a good size, I liked the decor and facilities and the toiletries they provided. It was also good that they had a self service convenience store at the ground floor, in case you wanted some drinks or snacks.
Carpet everywhere from the moment you enter the hotel. I struggled with my luggage getting from the front door to the check-in counter. The male staff at check in just watched me and then asked me if I needed help when I was 5 steps away from the check-in counter. One evening I decided to stay in and order room service because it was raining. The female staff at the front desk got my order wrong (and it was the more expensive wrong one) and also didn't follow through on a request I made to change the electric kettle in the room. It was later on determined by another staff that it was broken -- meaning, they did not check on this before a new guest checked in -- the stain on what would have otherwise been a great room experience. I had to call the front desk again almost 45 minutes later and someone else (another female staff) followed up on it. The hotel has got a strange lay-out, though maybe it's because the buildings were repurposed. My entire trip, I stayed in 4 hotels across Vienna, Salzburg, Amsterdam and Copenhagen. This was the most expensive one and the one I had the highest expectations of, but it's not the one I rated highest among the 4 hotels. There's room for improvement in guest relations and service.
