A lovely lady at reception so welcoming and hospitable.
Other staff just appeared miserable never smile but this could be a cultural thing. Rooms were kept immaculate when a room clean was required. Fantastic location not far from Vondel Park
The sash window in my room was propped open with two blocks of wood. So to close the window you need to lift the sash window remove the blocks then the window will drop. These windows are huge and as an Architect I know this could be very dangerous. This really needs to be sorted ASAP as a health and safety issue. Also there is a sheet of glass which forms the edge of the shower not very well thought out as it's hidden behind the shower curtain so you could walk into the edge of it. I think these items are very important to mention for the safety of future guests

I booked a budget basement room to save money and got what I ordered. The room was okay but small and I was grateful for the window for some fresh air. The bed was comfortable enough. I did not have the breakfast at the hotle but there was one available. The staff was great and very freindly. We were able to store our luggage there. Great location.
The room was very small but I did book a budget room so I can't complain too much! the wall had been damaged and there was plaster dust on the floor- the small quarters must make it so feet and luggae hit that corner a lot.

Very great location for parties etc. Fair price, we changed our room after check-in, if you dont like your room try to change it, we had room in suteren, after the change we went to 4th floor - lovely. Masterdam stairs are scary, but its definitely better than room without window :D

Our room had no air conditioning and the window opened about 10 cm upwards, so it was difficult to stay in the room for a long time. Also the room was on the forth floor and the elevator was broken,

Wonderful
It was quiet, clean, and comfortable. It was very close to the tram and the staff were so helpful explaining on how to get around the city.
The elevator was broken and the stairs were really steep and narrow.

Location is good, Tram stop immediately available. Not far from city center. Breakfast was ok ok.
Reception told they upgraded my room to 2 rooms and gave me single room which was super small. Not at all space to roam around in the room.

Nothing literally nothing. The worst tourist experience ever. A vacation ruined because of unprofessional managmenr and stuff. Reciption is a falier. 4 days tv broken and not fixed. And they take 100 Euro as insurance. The opposite is true u should take insurance from them. Room view is a dirty backyard that is not suitable for an animal not a human being. I don't advice at all.
Everything. This hotel is failure for hospitality industry.

Incredible room with great view and 3 beds. Perfect for the family of 3.
The lady at reception was so helpful. Best location with tram station just a min away.
We came back to hotel after sight seeing around 11pm and it was still well crowded.
Nothing as such. However it would have been great to have a lift as the stairs are too small. But it's not a major issue since most of the hotels in central Amsterdam are pretty much having same stairs.

Location was fantastic
Paying €100 for damage to property when property already damaged.Chips on wall; mold in bathroom,window handle broken.Arrived in heatwave;heating on and staff didn't know how to turn radiator off ! Asked to book taxi to airport and didn't when got up at 4am!
