The location of the hotel is perfect.
The room was small, but that's usually not a problem for me. The bathroom was very narrow. We had to brush our teeth sitting on the toilet. There was mold in both the bathroom and the room. Our room was next to the service rooms. From seven in the morning the hotel's laundry started working as if it were in our room. They couldn't change the bulb in our bedside lamp for three days. There was a kettle with hot water in the room, but there was only coffee on the day of our arrival. This is my sixth time in Amsterdam. Unfortunately, I haven't come across a worse hotel. I think there are much nicer rooms in the hotel. It's just that we were not accommodated in the main building and in a disgusting room.

I got to the hotel after a long day of traveling to find out the hotel out-booked me to one of there other properties.
Once I arrived at the other property ( the zoo property) I was informed that there was no booking for me and I was told “ to find a different hotel “ I called every hotel in the city as every hotel was booked out. I booked the hotel 3 weeks ago. Staff in bother hotels were so unprofessional. Do not book here.

Pleasant
Great location, pleasant staff and very flexible with the customers
Our room had bedbugs in both beds, which bit me in multiple places resulting in an allergic reaction for which I had to visit a doctor and receive antibiotics. I asked the reception for compensation, for which I am still awaiting a reply

I had a really nice stay at the Quentin Hotel Amsterdam! I was allocated a room in the annex building on the ground floor, which I absolutely loved, it was comfortable and very convenient. The hotel is perfectly located right by Leidseplein, making it easy to reach by all major public transport. There are plenty of restaurants, cafes, and shops just around the corner, so everything you need is close by.
The staff were always friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was good with a nice selection to start the day. Overall, I really enjoyed my stay and will definitely return in the near future. Highly recommended!

Good
A lovely lady at reception so welcoming and hospitable.
Other staff just appeared miserable never smile but this could be a cultural thing. Rooms were kept immaculate when a room clean was required. Fantastic location not far from Vondel Park
The sash window in my room was propped open with two blocks of wood. So to close the window you need to lift the sash window remove the blocks then the window will drop. These windows are huge and as an Architect I know this could be very dangerous. This really needs to be sorted ASAP as a health and safety issue. Also there is a sheet of glass which forms the edge of the shower not very well thought out as it's hidden behind the shower curtain so you could walk into the edge of it. I think these items are very important to mention for the safety of future guests
