My room was right next to the stairs so it was a bit noisy throughout the stay but nothing too off putting for a short stay.

The front desk staff were great, very polite and friendly, easy to interact with in English. Our room had a very pretty view of the canal, including a small balcony to enjoy the sun from, and all the main amenities were present to make our stay comfortable. The mattress was able to fit my husband at 6’2”/189, which is always a plus for us.
Great location, and just a few meters away from a tram stop so we were able to easily move around the city.
The stairs were borderline dangerous, but that seems to be a city wide issue and thankfully an elevator was available.
The room was clean but dated, and the windows were abysmal at keeping noise out. We mostly fixed the problem by running a white noise app to cover the outside noise.

Really good location, facing onto a canal, close to everything and tram stop pretty much outside. Area was quiet at night.
Stayed in the second building and it needed a lot of work. Ripped carpets in the hallway, chipped paint everywhere, cobwebs in room, skirting boards were rather dusty. Beds were rather uncomfortable with metal headboards.

Helpful and nice personnel. Pretty good location, near the center, without the noise and chaos. The breakfast was ok. It's great that they offer the option to store the luggage after checkout.
Pretty low value for money, but Amsterdam is pretty expensive in general. The bed was very noisy, the room was small, but that's to be expected. More annoyingly, you would need an extension cord, as there aren't sockets near bed (or a night stand for that matter). Beware of the *incredibly* steep and narrow stairs.

Never got my 2nd deposit back and made out they already sent it and it’s been 2+ months and still nothing will not be using them again !
