Lovely hotel, lovely room and lovely location
I didn’t like the self check in process
I felt it was unnecessary and tedious as the staff member was standing next to me essentially assisting.

We liked the overall vibe of the hotel, staff were very friendly and helpful especially the lady behind the bar. The hotel is out of city centre, but train station 5 min walk from front door, and approx 7 stops to central station. The area felt safe. We had booked on of the larger rooms which we found brilliant as we were there for 4 days. I loved the luxurious bathroom items, liquid soap shampoo etc. It was also great having mini fridge in the room
The Ruby Emma is a "smart" hotel so everything in our room was controlled via an ipad, unfortunately there was an issue with this during our entire stay. Therefore we couldn't control air-conditioning, chrome cast on TV, etc. The issue wasn't just in our room but in various rooms. A small token gesture by management would have been appreciated by us. Eg a free drink etc

This is probably one of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed. Tech savvy with self check in and keycard generation, custom elevators that take you exactly to your floor without any stops. Room was huge with a great bed, TV you can cast to and electric black out blinds, all controlled by an iPad in the room. Shower huge with great pressure. Easy walk from the train station. Breakfast was good, standard continental. We never wanted to leave.

It was a great hotel, beautiful rooms and customer service was also great.
The iPads were down, so we struggled to use the air conditioner and the lights throughout my stay.

Good location, clean and modern. All staff were lovely
Our iPad didn’t work in our room for the duration of our stay which meant a lot of the in room facilities weren’t available or easy to access.
