The hotel was lovely can’t really fault it at all!
We left a blanket that I had just got my partner for his birthday and when we asked if we could check for it we were told no although we had just checked out and the girl on the desk just emailed housekeeping I’m guessing without any rush etc we were having to leave because our taxi was waiting for us and even though we also emailed we haven’t heard anything this is the only fault I have

Bed, lifts and clean.
Bagels stale with egg salad, very little filling. No water or drinks facilities in room. Our flight was delayed by 16 hours, charged for unused day! Shampoo & condition & shower gel made skin itch. No privacy in shower, glass door!

The mattress is so comfortable, wonder what brand do they use. I like also the smell of the toiletries, great taste.

I only stayed here for a short stopover before continuing my journey the next day, but I found the hotel to be very, very nice. It actually offers great value for money. The receptionist was extremely friendly and helpful, and the overall atmosphere was pleasant. It’s a very quiet and comfortable hotel, which was exactly what I was looking for.
For me, this was more of a practical overnight stay, especially since, due to an exceptional situation at the airport, most hotels in the area were either fully booked or extremely expensive for what they offered. If you’re planning a city trip to Amsterdam, you should keep in mind that the hotel is located a bit outside the main tourist center.
The surroundings of the hotel are not particularly scenic, and my room faced the railway tracks. I also had the impression that the windows couldn’t be opened, which is something I usually like to do. That said, given the location on the track side, it probably would have been quite noisy anyway.
The hotel is also a bit tech-focused — a lot of things are controlled via an iPad. For example, the blinds were closed when I arrived, and it took me a little while to figure out that I needed to use the iPad to open and close them. Apart from that, there were no major issues that I would consider truly negative.
