Didn't like the self check in, thought the process was unnescessary and would have quicker had the staff assisted with this.
Didn't think much of the room layout, but the room was clean, functional and the bed was and shower were good.

The hotel is incredibly modern and tech-savvy. Our room had a sleek contemporary design with beautiful floor-to-ceiling panoramic windows. All lighting and climate controls are operated through a tablet, which is extremely convenient — especially when you don’t feel like getting out of bed.
By the way, check-in — including creating your own room keys — is done entirely at self-service kiosks. It was a completely unexpected but very interesting experience.
The room is a bit smaller in person than it appears in the photos, but this was expected and didn’t affect our stay in any way. Everything felt comfortable and well thought-out.
Only on our last day did we discover that there’s a restaurant on the top floor with an amazing view — unfortunately, we didn’t get the chance to try it, but it gives us a one more great reason to come back.
Overall, highly recommended for anyone visiting Amsterdam!
The only thing that surprised us was that during our entire stay, the room was never cleaned. By the end of the trip, our trash bin was already full. When we asked about it through the Booking.com chat, we were told that we should request housekeeping at the reception. However, since we received the response on the last night of our stay, there was no point in requesting cleaning anymore.

The self check in was very good and effective. Nice touch with the drink vouchers in our room and overall in a great part of Amsterdam.
The room did have some hair on the bed initially. The cleaners only came into our room the day before we left which we did find a little disappointing as we did request for a clean while out. And finally the lack of ventilation in the room did make some nights hard to sleep

The system to get to your floor is very good and safe and also limits waiting in lifts for long periods of time going to multiple floors. The iPad was great being able to control the room and closing the outdoor shutters made winding down for bed great.
The pillows are the only think I would change as they were too fluffy for my partner and I and we did struggle to get comfortable with them
