Exceptional
Amazing hotel with larger rooms, king size beds and very large bathroom. Seperate WC is always a bonus.
While out of the old city it’s 200 metres to the metro and we were usually anywhere we needed to be in under 30 minutes.
Coffee on site is very good (we own a couple of cafes in Australia) but also very expensive.
The check in process is self-check in, not straight forward and lacked the personal touch for a modern hotel with character. Seemed cheap.
We like our coffee strong so asked for an extra shot…. Was absolutely shocked when that was charged at €3 more….. extra shot one sixth that price in Australia.

The staff is lovely !
The hotel is in a business area so not much of a view but an excellent location. And very well connected to the metro.

Great room, stylish lobby and bar section, lovely breakfast
Expensive drinks (€6 beers in a small bottle?). It’s location but then again, very close to the tram station. 10min to RAI & 12 to Bijlmer Arena in total

The service was wonderful, and the staff was very pleasant and helpful
The only minor issue was that my Aircon was non-functional. This was mainly an issue the last few nights of my stay because the temperature became much warmer and it was quite warm in the room. The thermostat read 18⁰c but it was definitely much warmer

We like the location close to the metro
The staff has poor communication skills to each other. We asked not to put the comforter on the bed because it’s too hot and no air conditioning. We asked for a top sheet. Well they would do it for a night or two and we would have to ask again and again. Several days we would come back to our room at about 4:00 in the afternoon and our room was not cleaned and we would have to leave the room. No phone in the rooms to call the desk to ask for help

Modern Comfort ...loved the blockout blinds
a sink in the kitchenette/coffee area would have been great to rinse cups etc. Coffee sachets etc were not always replenished and we were there for a 10 day stay...would have been nice to get a top up each day
