The hotel is super unique with the combined canal houses. The staff is friendly and accommodating, the facility is beautiful, the food excellent, and the location is exceptional.

Invoice is a nightmare, nobody mention about City tax, money blocked at check-in still with no explanation, furthermore another 60EUR were blocked and, although the final invoice was issued this amount was not reimbursed.

One of our rooms were left open with a towel to keep it ajar while we were out. We came back to the hotel and found the hotel room open. Thankfully nothing was taken, but was a bit strange, especially for a hotel of this level. As we were only there to drop off some packages, my husband notified the front desk and later we were given a note and a voucher for 2 house drinks. I think the note was lovely, but the voucher seemed a bit of a throwaway.

Bed was very comfortable. Bottled water in the room was provided on a regular basis. Room was very quiet.
Didn't feel I was staying at a professionally managed hotel. Did not feel welcome throughout all 5 days of my vacation.
Waiting time for breakfast was horrible. Waiting time for staff to assist me with my question was horrible. Cleaning people were telling to vacate the room so they can clean it. Bar didn't provide any snacks or food after 10:00 pm.

The hotel is in a very good location and nice design, the staffs are so friendly and polite. Our room was upgraded to the art suite room which is so artsy and spacious room, it made our stay in Amsterdam so wonderful and comfy. We will come back and stay here for our next trip to Amsterdam. Definitey!

Charming hotel made up of several houses among the canal. Beautiful facilities and excellent breakfast. Staff was very friendly and accommodating, and the hotel was a relatively easy walk to all the sites.

Beautiful, clean rooms. Such an interesting eclectic hotel which is made up of many old canal homes now combined . Wonderful staff that were very helpful and knew the history of this fabulous hotel. The location was perfect to sightsee. The breakfast was outstanding and we appreciated that you could even order off the plethora of food choices displayed so beautifully. Even had Prosecco if you wanted. We loved all the gardens attached to this hotel that you could relax and enjoy .
Cannot think of anything to improve this hotel.
