Charming hotel made up of several houses among the canal. Beautiful facilities and excellent breakfast. Staff was very friendly and accommodating, and the hotel was a relatively easy walk to all the sites.

Beautiful, clean rooms. Such an interesting eclectic hotel which is made up of many old canal homes now combined . Wonderful staff that were very helpful and knew the history of this fabulous hotel. The location was perfect to sightsee. The breakfast was outstanding and we appreciated that you could even order off the plethora of food choices displayed so beautifully. Even had Prosecco if you wanted. We loved all the gardens attached to this hotel that you could relax and enjoy .
Cannot think of anything to improve this hotel.

Loved the room, super comfy, clean and spacious!!! Love how quiet it was, no Hussle and bustle of the city to be heard.
I smoke cigarettes and there was no place I could sit down with a coffee and have a smoke. I understand not smoking inside, but not even having a smoking area outside, that is NOT ok.
The bar restaurant was not great, the food meh.... the service meh.... seems like everyone who works there (and there are many) prefer to visit with each other then help customers.

Hotel was in nice location but rooms had bad odor inside and next to our room there was food laying around on the ground for until next day .Hotel def needs refreshment has that amsterdam style which is ok but overall was not worth the money we spend

- Historical property consists of 25 townhouses from the 17th century
- Nice and unique interior and decorations
- well located in Amsterdam on the canal
- nice restaurant and facilities
- Very long and slow check in and check out
- no option (even for extra fees) for early check in for those who arrived very early in morning so I had to wait from 9 am until 3 pm
- first room I got was not garden view as expected but they changed it.

Beautiful spaces, especially the garden patio restaurant. Great location. Mostly superior service. Restaurants all great. Nice feeling of luxury. Great private canal cruise
Lobby was crowded at times, concierge happy to help set things up, but messed up reservations at two restaurants and one excursion. It all worked out but they felt harried. Room was beautiful with nice view of interior patio - however was a bit space challenged

We truly enjoyed everything about our stay, from the service, design and cleanliness to the delicious breakfast, warm staff, and perfect central location.
The lunch, dinner and 24/7 menus could offer more variety and better alternatives to match the overall high standards of the hotel.

Wonderful
The property has an “edgy” character that is fun without being flamboyant. The rooms are comfortable. The staff (with a notable exception) is professional, friendly and anticipative of your needs. The location puts it within walking distance of most attractions.
The notable exception is the housekeeping staff. They often forgot to provide enough towels or toilet paper and one day the room did not get cleaned until almost 8 pm.
