Breakfast was fine. twin room was small and dressing robes need replaced as the ones we had in our room were so washed out. We had a room right beside reception and overlooking the canal so it wasnt private and we cud hear passers by. Otherwise hotel is beautiful and the staff very accommodating. Would definitely return but just request a better room.
Dressing gowns in room 105 need replaced also room a bit outdated so the price we paid

Overall, the location. It feels like a decent four-star hotel, nothing beyond that. It seems the property would benefit from a professional benchmark tour of hotels across Europe and the Middle East, to better understand true hospitality standards and fair pricing.
1. Due to the high-demand dates, the room rate was simply doubled. At the revised price, it felt less like market-based pricing and more like a penalty, with no clear justification or corresponding value for money. 2. Most of the staff operates on autopilot. It feels like they are not genuinely interested in how guests feel or think; the goal seems to be to provide any answer just to move you along. 3. We were assigned a room with inconvenient access. It is unprofessional not to inform guests in advance and instead present this as a fait accompli. 4. The breakfast pastries did not feel freshly made but rather pre-prepared, and the overall variety of the breakfast was quite limited. 5. Unless you reach the hotel manager directly, no one truly seems to care about guest feedback. 6. The restaurant portions/dishes in the menu during the dinner are simply laughable. The feedback we gave the waiter was so precise that he agreed with us — yet it appeared that the kitchen was completely indifferent. 7. The size of the standard room is perfectly acceptable, nothing more. 8. Without the direct intervention of the hotel manager, this stay would have received a score of 5. Her involvement was the only factor that prevented a significantly lower rating. Overall, was nice but we expected for more.
