Great service, clean rooms. Excellent location. All the staff is very helpful and attentive, and happy to help as needed. Location is close to the heart of amsterdam meaning many things are in walking distance.
Food was fine but not excellent. Room is very small which wasn't unexpected as this is warned under the room I selected, but for the price it is quite surpising how little you get. Lovely hotel just a bit over priced.

Beautiful, clean rooms. Such an interesting eclectic hotel which is made up of many old canal homes now combined . Wonderful staff that were very helpful and knew the history of this fabulous hotel. The location was perfect to sightsee. The breakfast was outstanding and we appreciated that you could even order off the plethora of food choices displayed so beautifully. Even had Prosecco if you wanted. We loved all the gardens attached to this hotel that you could relax and enjoy .
Cannot think of anything to improve this hotel.

Location great and quality of looks great also
decor and staff great, however the room we were given was above toilet and over the bar so if you don't wish to sleep perfect. Whilst the hotel did move us it was clearly an issue room, and when paying 1200 for the stay little annoying. Attention to detail poor as was rubbish in parts of the room that was not properly checked, that was clearly built up over a length of time.

Loved the room, super comfy, clean and spacious!!! Love how quiet it was, no Hussle and bustle of the city to be heard.
I smoke cigarettes and there was no place I could sit down with a coffee and have a smoke. I understand not smoking inside, but not even having a smoking area outside, that is NOT ok. The bar restaurant was not great, the food meh.... the service meh.... seems like everyone who works there (and there are many) prefer to visit with each other then help customers.

We chose to return to the Pulitzer for our Honeymoon. Beautiful hotel in a great location if you want to be in the canal ring area of Amsterdam. Easy walking distance from so many of the local attractions and huge choice of restaurants, cafes, bars and shops. The rooms are sumptuous and full of charm and the beds….they are amongst the most comfortable we’ve ever experienced and we travel ALOT with our work!!! . There was a congratulatory bottle of champagne on ice and delicious chocolates waiting in our room on arrival which was a lovey welcome!
Nothing we didn’t like - it was as beautiful as we remembered it from our first visit there. It’s not the cheapest hotel but for us, worth the extra money to stay there.

Hotel was in nice location but rooms had bad odor inside and next to our room there was food laying around on the ground for until next day .Hotel def needs refreshment has that amsterdam style which is ok but overall was not worth the money we spend
