Very straightforward to get in, host was very friendly and helpful, but equally respected our privacy. The apartment was large and quiet, but right on the canal with lots of nice restaurants/coffee shops/things to do nearby. Served as a great retreat after long days of museums/walking. Lots of complimentary facilities e.g. tea/coffee, wine, soft drinks, etc. Good TV/entertainment system easy to connect your own devices or use already-logged-in streaming services. We really enjoyed our time here and would recommend to others.

Location and comfortable sleeping accommodations for our family of four.
It was not clear which unit we would have prior to checking in. I was originally hoping for a higher floor but we enjoyed the first floor, opening the windows, enjoying a coffee and watching the Dutch lifestyle by the canal.

For Amsterdam, especially this central location, this is an amazing amount of space. We stayed with our two young teens, who shared the pullout couch. Loved having the kitchenette to make coffee (Nespresso!) in the morning and then look out the window onto the canal. The location is just a block from a Metro stop and a couple blocks to a few trams, so you can get anywhere in town easily.

Great location as it is very close to several attractions. A really nice hotel and a friendly manager. There is a cafe down the street (about 200 ft away) where you can have breakfast. Also, should you choose to make your own, there is a nice kitchen at your disposal. Of course, if they served princely breakfast, that would elevate the experience considerably.

being on the canal was great. hostess very accommodating. shower was great. Change of towels was appreciated. Nice little market close by. Coffee!!! Bed was comfy. If you stay go to Bar Gui next door. Amazing fixed price menu
It was a little old and the photos represented a more modern refurbished look. We enjoyed our stay here. It was warm when we were visiting and being close to the canal there were mosquitos and no screens on the window - several came in the house.

Had a great time in Amsterdam and this property was the perfect place to stay. Very easy to hop on the metro, lots of bars and restaurants around, and the apartment itself was comfortable with good amenities. I'd definitely stay here again!

I liked everything. Location is superb. Close to the museums. Place is clean and comfortable. Mr. Brock, the owner is very kind. I must only say that for those with kids, the steps of the building’s stairs are narrow and may be dangerous for smaller children.

Fantastic location and great to have an apartment for breakfast and dinner. The apartment was well stocked and near to a supermarket and good public transport links too. The balcony was a great addition.
