Very Good
Room is clean and equipped with coffee machine, good toiletries and a safe box. Location is good. Situated in a quiet street with a walking distance to Amsterdam old city and central station. Staff were very friendly. Hotel is equipped with a lift.
Room is very small, not enough space for medium/ large luggage. No AC but there was fan in the room. haven't bothered us as weather was relatively good.

The staff was so welcoming and friendly, from the front desk to the housekeepers! The breakfast was a great start to the day. Everything was fresh and they kept it stocked. The rooms were clean and comfortable, they even provided fans. Awesome view of the canal from our room. Great location!

It's a good place to start meeting with Amsterdam. Not so far from the center (20 min walking) but silent enough to have a good rest for the night. The nearest supermarket is 5 min away.
A one case I would say - very small room,

Staffs are very friendly and kind. And the hotel locates very close to metro station.
Room is not clean. I felt irritation in my nose and skin. Shower is separete from toilet. This is good fact but when I used shower, water leaked to the toilet space and I need to wipe the water after taking shower.

The location was lovely. Very central and you could walk out and experience a different perspective depending on which way you turned. Able to walk to many great locations from here. Would recommend Cafe Marcella and hitting up the Museum district. Keep in mind the rooms are small; they have no air conditioning so if you are coming at a time when it is warm, be prepared. Also, amenities are limited. Small (skinny) bathrooms. The outdoor garden is lovely, but we were told you can only be out there with 2-3 people max. Doesn't help when you have a party or family of 4 or more.
Resubmitting this review w/ additional detail to help other travelers learn from our experience, our misunderstanding and know this hotel's approach in hard situations is to blame the guests and take zero accountability. We booked w/ 2 travelers. The day we arrived, our travel companions had an issue with their reservation and we had a room w/ 2 beds that slept 4 people so we thought they could join us. When we checked in, all 4 of us were there with our bags and we all went to the room together. This is something I want to call out for the hotel folks that are reading this review. Go back and check any security footage you have. We were all there together, checking in. The woman that checked us in was lovely. We all went to the room together and at this time, had no clue we were doing anything wrong. When we got home that night, we asked for additional sheets and pillows for the pullout bed. The gentleman on the night shift was very accommodating at first, but then questioned what the sheets were for and why we had 4 people. We explained the mishap with our friends situation and he demanded they leave the hotel and explained we were breaking rules and had to pay and was calling the mgr. I told him we’d do whatever was needed and asked for flexibility because we had no clue we were breaking the rules. It was 1 a.m. and we were not leaving or putting people out on the streets and I again asked for understanding. Again, we had no idea we were breaking any rules, all new news. I spoke with the manager the next morning and asked to leave as we were all uncomfortable. I was questioned, made to feel completely at fault and wrong in all ways. I was told the front desk woman only saw 2 people at check-in (not true) and the gentleman the night before never told us to leave and we refused to pay additional for our companion (also, not true). We stayed because we had to and our friends did get a room that night and moved to another hotel the next.

good size room (paid extra for canal view) with ensuite but noted some rooms are much smaller. Breakfast is good and there is a small garden where you eat it but you can't take your own food there eg for lunch. Good location but can be bit noisy at night, especially with windows open as needed when hot as no aircon.
Have a nespresso coffee machine in room but tried to charge for the pods! Not allowed to eat a sandwich from local shop in the garden.
