Very comfortable and a great location away from the noise and debauchery of Central Amsterdam. Great beds and the Reception staff are very helpful.

Very good location in the city center but at the same time quiet and comfortable, friendly staff, fridge and coffee machine in the room.
The single room was somewhat smaller than I expected.

Location is excellent . Close to tram , bars , restaurants and short walking distance to museums .
Canal views are beautiful .
Comfortable beds with immaculate linen .
Staff are exemplary ; welcoming , friendly and helpful .
Despite my negative comments I would stay in this hotel again and would recommend it (but avoid floor 5 !)
Initially allocated a substandard room on the 5th floor for our first night after emailing the owner we were reallocated a much better room on the 4th floor for the subsequent two nights of our stay .
We paid in excess of £200 per night which I consider alot (but I do understand that probably much of that cost is for the location .)
The general decoration could do with a refresh/deep clean (chipped paint / marks on walls / marks on carpet) and the shower cubicle needed a deep clean .

The rooms which have the afternoon sun beating down on them need to have a better way of cooling them down in the evening
