Wonderful
Really picturesque with the flowers and being along the canal. Close to local amenities and 20 min walk to the centre. There’s a lift too and the room was clean and modern. Great stay for a solo traveller
Only downside was the room didn’t have aircon

Staff was polite and helpful in general. The exterior of the hotel is very cute and the neighborhood nice wit lost of shops, galleries, cafes, bar and restaurants around. Also not far from big museums. In general it was a quiet area, and it felt relaxing.
There were bugs of all sorts in my room. Luckily, it was not bed bugs but it was annoying enough and I don't know how they got there as I left the windows closed. Room looks like the photos, but feels a bit shabby and dark when you first get in. It was very hot during my stay. I found a fan but it was barely functioning. Also powerpoint seemed old and potentially dangerous. Each time I would try to power my computer or phone, there would be a slight flashing light. There is also a back garden which looks very nice but full with bugs once again. Plus, some guys would gather there past midnight and talk loudly, disturbing my sleep. Not very good after all.

Poor
Great location, the bed was comfortable, beautiful view from the window.
Bed bugs! I didn't notice in the night but the next day I woke up covered in bites. I thought they were mosquitos at first, but thought it was odd how many bites I got. After reading other reviews on Google and researching bed bug bites, I realised what they are. Absolutely horrible and unacceptable. I want a refund

Location great. Staff not so much.
I asked for my room to be changed and I don’t believe there was no room free to be exchanged - there are guests coming and going every day. My colleagues all got a much more cosier room for the same price or even less.

I loved the location - within easy walking to the metro, the bars and restaurants. The garden was a green and leafy oasis from the 32 degree centigrade heat. The style of hotel was delightfully Dutch. The buffet breakfast catered for various tastes (with amazing homemade bread - or it tasted homemade if it wasn’t) and the staff were professional and friendly. Whilst my husband thought (mistakenly) he had booked a double bed room for us and single bed rooms with a connecting door for our friends, both were actually the single bed rooms with connecting doors. In the summer heat, although our rooms had fans and a water chilled cooling fan, this was really quite good for everyone (and what a great idea for friends travelling together.)
It was difficult to open the curtains in my room. This could easily be rectified by a curtain opening rod.

Pleasant
Good location and clean. Great shower. And new bathroom, small but fine.
The single room and bed were tiny. Only 1 pillow. No Aircon but the window did open and there was a fan.

Wonderful
Great location on a quiet canal-side street. My room was at the back so even quieter and had everything I needed. Service was friendly and efficient and breakfast was spot on.
Nothing - it was all good.

It was a good location. Staff was really helpful. The room was good size and clean. We paid really very high amount for our stay that too without breakfast. INR 132000/- for 5 nights for 3 adults which was higher than other hotels in Europe even compare to 4 star hotels.

Very beautiful city. The gotel was on good location especially after I rent a bike. The hotel offers rent-a-bile for 16€ a day which is fantastic. The bile was phenomenal (be careful if you are not experienced rider). The hotel was clean, room was big enough, with fridge, table and comfy chair. The only thing I did not enjoy was the bed, which was actually a folded couch with thin (8cm) mattress. The bed was bot firm enough so I slept in a "concave" position which was bad for my back (luckily lots of medicine around Amsterdam to ease the pain;). Other than than I had a wonderful time and I must say the staff was very nice, even met the Serbian guy who was a felow Balkan.
The bed.

Very Good
Breakfast was good with lots of choice. Beds comfy and clean (no bedbugs for us), bathroom small but in good working order, very convenient to museum, tour, train station, and hundreds of restaurants.
I knew the room had twin beds, which is okay although not ideal for us. But it was a twin room (2, adjoining rooms with a door between that was always open. That situation really separated us at night, which was a shame after such lovely days in Amsterdam.
I thought the booking included breakfast but was charged for it at the end.
There was a 2” rise of concrete between the room floor and the bathroom floor, which meant the bathroom visits at night were kinda dangerous in bare feet.
The kettle had to be plugged into an outlet that meant it sat on the carpet. Not great for boiling water. And tea wasn’t restocked when the room was serviced.

Wonderful
Location and breakfast were both excellent. We loved having so many choices at breakfast—bacon, eggs, pancakes, cereal, yogurt, fresh fruit salad, pastries, breads, cheeses, meats… And the Prinsengracht canal is lovely. We made use of the metro often; it’s just a block away—Vijzelgracht station. Many restaurants, cafes, bars, and stores close by. The staff was very friendly and helpful.
There’s no AC, so if it’s hot, the room might feel stuffy. Fan and open windows helped.
