Everything was overall great. We chose the room with a canal view and it was perfect. Location was great, very close to the metro and also easy on foot. The breakfast was very tasty and the staff were very helpful and friendly! Would love to stay here again

The Staff were incredibly friendly, the hotel is in an awesome location 5 minute by metro from Amsterdam Central, Very clean and quiet. We had an amazing view out of our window looking out over the canal.

The location and friendly staff.
For a budget room in a 3-star hotel, I wasn't expecting miracles. However, the room in question - 007, aka "The Harry Potter room", was extremely small. Let's put it this way - if you're a couple, traveling with a large suitcase, you would have to enter the room one by one, sideways, in order to get to the bathroom or reach the other side of the bed (this is assuming that you have your suitcase half-opened and leaned against the wall, so you have access you your stuff) We were there during winter time so once bulky winter coats are hanged, this makes navigation even more challenging. I was surprised to learn that there aren't any hooks where you can hang your towels in the bathroom - minor complaint, but annoying. Additionally, since the room is next to the staircase, whenever someone is using them, you will feel the room shake and definitely hear that, night and day. Overall, the hotel location is excellent, staff is great, but the value for money is questionable for this type of room.

The location is great — close enough to walk to most places, yet still quiet and not too crowded. The single room was small, but perfectly fine for one person. It’s not new, but it was clean and had everything I needed. Breakfast was hearty with plenty of variety, and the staff were very friendly. Overall, a comfortable and pleasant stay.
There are things like shower curtain and some places in bathroom that needs to be renewed.

The room was tiny, but I knew that when I booked. It was well designed & well-appointed despite being so small. There was a long countertop/desk which had a coffee machine and room for my luggage. There was a small cupboard and hanging space. The bathroom was small but had everything. The shower screen door was very narrow but it worked out fine. But I would say that if you are a very large person the "basic single room" might not have enough room for you. I'm average sized bloke and it was good for me. There is an elevator. The buffet breakfast was excellent and tasty with plenty of options. The buffet was refilled often. The location was fantastic, right on the Southern section of Pricengracht canal with an easy walk to the Rijksmuseum and the Van Gogh. There is a tram stop 5 minutes walk away. Canal-side bars and cafes within an easy stroll. Restaurants too. Amsterdam is generally a very expensive city for accommodation, especially in a location like this. All-in-all I thought it was a good price for the location and the quality. Would I stay here again? Absolutely.
The staff were all very friendly and helpful, with the exception of one male receptionist in the afternoons who wasn't very welcoming or communicative. I wondered why he was working in hospitality? The rest of the staff were charming. I travel a lot, about 3 months every year, and as far as I'm concerned, this hotel was a 10 for me.

This property is located at a very convenient location and it’s really easy to reach from the airport. Princesgracht is one of the finest and most historic localities in Amsterdam. Rooms were really cozy. I have read on Google Reviews that few people were bitten by bedbugs in the past but I could not find any
Probably due to the old architecture, guests leaving and entering your floor can heard through the walls. So, if you are a light sleeper, your sleep can get interrupted

Everything was perfect. The staff was very kind. I really enjoyed my stay here. The subway is really near and that makes it easier to move between the hotel and the airport.

Location was great 15mins walk from central and easy connect links on transport. I Read a lot of reviews about small rooms we was on the 5th floor in the attic it wasn’t a big room but was perfect for two we only had hand luggage so wasn’t a problem and spent most of the day out. The room was cleaned everyday which was a nice touch. Staff were really accommodating allowed us to early check in from 12:30. Rooms had all the basic amenities needed and a fan and heater were in the room on arrival.
