Wonderful
Awesome location, and the room overlooked the canal right outside the front door. There was a nice garden/patio out the back door which in good weather would be fantastic place to relax at the end of the day. The hotel is a short walk from the Metro so was able to use public transportation to get to it from the airport, which is much faster than driving. Good breakfast with a wide selection of options.
The bathroom needs some maintenance. The shower door did not fully close, and some of the trim is peeling around the sinks. Tissue paper would have been nice. But otherwise very nice. The steps on the stair case are small, but they do have an elevator.

Very Good
Location is absolutely fantastic, right in the middle of very scenic canals and close to public transport and the Rijksmuseum. Amsterdam is an absolute joy to walk around and the hotel is so well situated. Also loved the cats who came to peer at us during breakfast.
My room was small but then again I only paid for a single room and it was very functional.

Very Good
Near metro station, easy to walk or hop on metro to center of Amsterdam. I had a small single room, great shower, basic but clean and good breakfast.
Nothing really, good for a short break.

Poor
The location is excellent a 20-30 min walk from the main train station to the hotel.
Excellent breakfast choice.
In a quiet part of town.
The room we were given (an apparent upgrade) from our small double garden view , was in the roof attic, it was dinghy, walls were dirty and in need of a fresh lick of paint, bed looked like it was better placed in a cheap hostel in the red light district. Small windows little natural light and to see the canal u had to get on your tip toes to see. The stay cost us €803 for 3 nights and it wasn't worth that sort of money. The rooms on the website look great , clean, tidy , modern, not the cheap looking hostel bedroom we were given. A complete misrepresentation being misrepresentation , we have been robbed.

Good
Location great (further along from Anne Frank house in the quieter part). Beds comfortable. Majority of staff were friendly and helpful. Lovely pair of cats visit. Lovely courtyard garden.
One of the women staff needs to go. Noise carries easily in the building. Could do with a refurb in places. Bedroom carpets need edges hoovered. Information in the guest folders dated and incorrect and when mentioned at reception they didn't appear to care, ie there's a dinner menu and the hotel doesn't serve dinners anymore; taxi prices quoted that are way out of date etc.

Wonderful
Perfect location: 4-6 minutes walking to Metro 52 or Bus 4; just two stops to the central station by Metro.
Quiet street along the canal. ( As we know, there are lots of bars along the canal.) Friedly staffs. Our room faces the canal with a beautiful view. Hot breakfast with various choices; starting time from 7:00 am is perfect for us to catch the early meeting time for the day-trip.
Shower room: the door can't be closed properly; water leaks due to a loose seal on the ground floor. One seal strip should be replaced near the sink. However, it won't bother us too much, as there are more strengths to this accommodation.

It was pretty central. It was very walkable
I kept getting turned around and lost. That was my fault though. I am a little directionally challenged

Poor
Good location near to central train station
Tiny room that didn’t feel clean, went to have a shower in the morning and there was dirty underwear left hanging on the door, it smelt of stagnant water and there was no hot water

The room felt like home. Staff friendly. Breakfast fantastic. Quiet location.
A slight step up into the bathroom. A toe stubber.

Very Good
Very good location. It's a quite area which is better to rest. Breakfast was ok even with gluten free bread! Stuff very polite. There is a very funny cat sometimes :)
You need to leave the key everytime you leave which reminds old times and has some charm....

Wonderful
Great position on the Prinsengracht canal, very easily walkable to city centre and Metro, trams and buses. Well run hotel, clean and organised. A very pleasant place to stay in Amsterdam. Breakfast perfectly adequate.
Fair amount of noise from other guests. No tea/coffee/milk, but has kettle and small fridge.

Fair
It is in a decent location.
The room I was given was right around the corner from the check/in desk so there was quite a bit of excess noise, sometimes later at night. Not ideal if you value your sleep.
