Wonderful
Location superb in a lovely canal street.
Possible to walk to all destinations. For non walkers metro s short distance away
Staff very friendly and helpful.

Location was excellent .
And the male staff member at the desk was very helpful.
Breakfast was good as well.
Extremely hot when we arrived. The evaporative cooler offered little respite and had a broken leg. The room is very small . Not much room for luggage for 2 people. The bathroom towels were sub par. Very cheap look and feel.

The room had everything we needed, including a comfortable bed and mini fridge. The hotel had an elevator, which was useful for luggage (I noticed a lot of other hotels in Amsterdam don’t have one due to the structure of the buildings). The hotel was located on a picturesque canal and around a 20-30min walk away from most attractions in the city centre. The shower pressure was great. Unfortunately there was a sharp piece of metal on the shower handle that cut me, but the staff dealt with this very professionally - they removed the hazard right away and kindly offered us complimentary breakfast and wine to make up for this.
The room got quite hot at times, so we slept with the window open.

I had a wonderful experience during my stay. The hotel was very clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The staff was extremely friendly, professional, and always ready to help with any request.

I stayed at this hotel the 2nd time (1st stay was just 1 day and now longer) during my trip to Amsterdam. Overall, the room was fine, but I had an unpleasant experience.
On the day of check-out in my room I unlocked the safe to check my wallet and I discovered that the amount of cash left in the locked safe did not match the amount I had placed there. From 4 banknotes of 200€ and 5 banknotes of 100$, which I left there “safe” knowing exactly how much there were in the wallet for 4 days and 3 nights, locking the safe on the check-in day and leaving the safe always locked with password until the check-out day believing the reliability which turned out opposite, 200 euro from my wallet were missing !!! So as the safe was always locked with a code the situation caused me great concern!
I applied to the receptionist immediately, but I was told that access to the safe was not possible and no investigation had been carried out. Instead of trying to sort things out, I felt pressured and unsupported as a guest.
I cannot say for certain what exactly happened, but this experience left me feeling unsafe. I will never leave cash in a safe anymore after such a bad experience with the hotel.
I would advise future guests to be careful about where they keep their valuables.
Also I am writing my review the second time here because the 1st time it was published the hotel pushed me to delete it with some threats.
I don’t trust this hotel any more.

The property is well located and the staff were incredible to deal with and accommodating. The beds were really soft and comfortable. We used the hotel bike hide as well which was really convenient.
The room we were in might need a bit of a handyman visit. The finishings / fixture were loose (ie; tap facets, above bed lights, shower handle door handles, PowerPoints etc). The TV seemed to have a really inconsistent connection. None of these were huge issues or impacted our stay at all.

The location and the views from my room.
The state of disrepair and lack of upkeep. Old elevator. Old carpet. Uncomfortable bed. All the lights were unplugged, and I had to find the outlets.

The hotel is very close walking distance to Metro, Rijksmuseum and Van Gogh museum. Excellent breakfast with pancakes, scrambled eggs, bacon, different breads, meats and cheese, yogurt, cereal, and coffee machine. Friendly and helpful staff. The room is cleaned daily, and coffee/tea is replenished daily.
Little expensive - $325/night with breakfast included and canal view.
