The location
No working tv in our room. Breakfast was basic and wasn’t labelled ( tricky for my husband who has allergies) housekeeping arrived late the first day ( we had just got back to the room 4pm) then didn’t leave us any towels the next day. Disappointing for £400 per night.

Gorgeous place, well kitted out rooms, nice staff. Our room was small, enough room for a queen bed but that was fine as it was exceptionally quiet even tho on the street side. Breakfast delicious and decent value compared to other hotels.

Small room but great view. Super nice and kind staff. A big shoutout to the night staff they’re the kindest most helpful and most discrete staff I’ve met:) The room was tiny but very cute. The access by elevator then stairs can be tricky but that’s what you gotta accept for the charm of the place. Thanx

We had a wonderful stay at Maison Elle. The room was perfect for our needs - we stayed two nights. The bed and pillows were comfortable, and linen was fresh! The room was detailed with decor. TV was great in the room. There was also aircon that was easy to operate. The bathroom was fantastic with a great rain shower head. There are a couple of stairs to the entrance of the hotel, however there was a lift so it was no drama to get to the room. We loved the location, although we weren't central Amsterdam, we were within walking distance to the canals and the main tram stop which took us to the museum district and Central Station. Plenty of restaurants and shops nearby. The staff also gave us heaps of recommendations on places to try! Overall, a wonderful stay and we will be back! Definitely worth the splurge if out of your budget!
We didn't stay long enough! No complaints about this hotel. Although we didn't have a book in the hotel room with guides or wifi passwords. That would be a great addition.

The stay was absolutely amazing. First of all, the interior had this perfect balance of chic elegance and cozy warmth. Everything was spotless, and the space just felt so comfortable. Second, the neighborhood was quiet and safe which was the kind of place where you actually get to see how locals live. There were plenty of cute cafés and great restaurants nearby, and the park right out front looked perfect for a morning run or a weekend picnic. But most importantly, the staff were truly wonderful. Everyone was so warm and kind, especially Becky at the reception, who made the whole experience unforgettable.

Nice quiet street, a short walk to shops, restaurants, and the museum district. Clean and well maintained. Comfortable bed. Spacious room. Incredible shower! Puck was amazing and really made us feel welcome when we arrived - gave us lots of useful info for our trip.

Cute boutique hotel in a central area
Unfortunately there was a problem with our room and there was a persistent lingering smell, which wasn't able to be solved during our stay as there weren't any other rooms and the cleaning staff weren't able to address it. However, the manager offered a partial refund. This was a shame as it would've been nice otherwise.
