The hotel was beautiful inside and out, exceptionally clean and the bed was super comfy. It was situated in a quiet neighbourhood but close enough to restaurants, bars and trams. The staff were polite and helpful.
My only negative comment would be that there wasn't any savoury choice for breakfast. Cheese, ham and brown bread would be good!

Lovely rooms. A bit small, but more than needed. All amenities performed well, and the staff was very attentive to out requests.
Their morning breakfast seemed to be very light They mentioned a problem with a fruit vendor, but there was a supermarket on half a kilometer away that would have supplied their needs. Just a little suggestion Overall great hotel.

The staff was very hospitable and even congratulated me for my birthday, leaving two bottles of white wine in the room to celebrate with. The beds were really comfy and I liked the overall aesthetic of the hotel (though I wished it was more vintage rather than modern). I especially liked their little garden area beside the breakfast room's window.
The pillow, albeit soft, would barely lift your head the second you lie down and my nightlamp would occassionally flicker every five seconds despite it being turned off. The walls also weren't soundproof and the breakfast had little variety. Lastly, the reception is located on a larger dining table which makes it confusing to locate and hard to be certain merely judging by a lone laptop sitting on the desk which could've been anyone's.

Great location, lobby was nice and cute garden out the back.
Our room was in the basement, was not that clean, sink was dirty, dusty and stains on the carpet, it also had a slight sewage smell and was noisy as you could hear everyone going up and down the stairs. The television also didnt work, and the AC wasnt great. For the price point, the room itself was average, youre definitely paying for the location.

Decor, location near Vondelpark.
No proper reception- staff sitting at table with computer while also expected to help set up and provide breakfast, little tourist information or knowledge about the local area, restaurants etc. Airconditioner gurgled and made noises all night. When reported nothing done. One day toilet had not been cleaned.

It waa a great location and did like the smart panels in the room.
Our room wasnt the room we booked - but that must be a booking.com issue rather than the hotel. We mentioned it to the person when we checked in and they said no it was an issue with booking.com. We were pretty anger given the price we paid for what ended up being a standard double room with little to none garden view. Some of the lights in our room didnt work (bulbs needed replacing) so we had minimal light. The Garden biew wasnt a garden view rather than a building site. We were woken up by the building work directly outside. For some reason on the first nights stay after the room clean our handsoap was thrown away and never replaced. We didnt get a new one until the last nights stay even after mentioning it several times to a staff member and having to buy our own antibac soap.
