Amazing location, comfortable bed
For a very expensive price point, it is not much more than a B@B. The whole hotel was in town for the marathon , and the ‘early breakfast’ that was put on for us was nothing that people wanted to eat (they didn’t know how to turn the coffee machine on).
There is not much communal space.

Didn’t sell bottles of water for room. Breakfast is expensive. Stain on carpet in room 101 isn’t very nice to see.

Beautiful place to stay for a few days. Rooms are quite small but we found the garden room to be fine for us. We didn’t opt for breakfast as there are so many places within a 10 min walk. Reception staff were friendly and helpful.
It was a 20-30 min walk in to the centre of Amsterdam, which was fine for us but others may find this too far. The tram stop is a 5-10 min walk and there is a tram that takes you in to the city.

The staff were friendly and helpful. The rooms were well appointed and comfortable. Maison Elle was in a very good location and we were able to walk and take public transport easily for all the things that we wanted to do. I have no hesitation in recommending Maison Elle as a very desirable holiday abode.

Amazing boutique hotel in a very elegant and trendy part of Amsterdam. Not a canal experience... but even better - and less touristy. Elegant charm, partly added to by the Elle business brand, the room was a jewel on the top floor. Great service throughout from a friendly staff.

The hotel is absolutely beautiful, but the breakfast was definitely the highlight of our stay. Everything was spectacular, the table settings were lovely, and the staff were incredibly kind and attentive. It was genuinely one of the best hotel breakfasts we have ever had, and I highly recommend it!
Our room was clean and comfortable, and the bathroom was surprisingly spacious. The bedroom itself was quite small, but it was perfectly suitable for what we needed. The building is beautiful, the neighborhood felt very safe, and the location made it easy to get around. We were about a 20–25-minute walk from the main shopping area, and getting around by tram was also very convenient.
The main area for improvement would be the size of the room. We had to leave all our suitcases on the floor, which made it a little difficult to move around and organize our belongings. We also asked in advance whether we could check out at 4:00 a.m. and were told that someone would be at reception, but when we went downstairs, no one was there. Thankfully, everything was eventually resolved via email, so it was not a major issue.
Overall, we had a wonderful stay and would definitely recommend this hotel—especially for the amazing breakfast and lovely service.
