Room was large and comfortable. The young woman doing check in was kind, efficient and gave a good recommendation for our lunch spot.
Steep steps at entrance and foyer. WiFi did not work in our room. It worked in the lobby but not in our room. Another small thing was that the light on the magnifiying mirror in the bathroom did not work, but we were only there one night so I didn’t bring it to their attention.

This is a cute hotel with well appointed, but small rooms, which is atandard in Amsterdam. It is outside of the canal ring, but easy access through vondelpark and on the tram.
The staff are not helpful and don’t even understand their own hotel. They don’t understand how to work things like the lights in the room and can’t answer simple questions. You get blank stares (and this is not a language barrier)

The hotel and room were clean and nicely decorated. The location was okay - not far from a tram spot and nice and quiet. Breakfast was expensive but good.
Amsterdam is an expensive city, but I felt this wasn't a good value. The room amenities were disappointing - there was no table in the room that one could sit at, something I don't think I've ever experienced with any hotel. There was no luggage rack. There was no iron or steamer, I had to borrow one from the front desk and even then, the iron wasn't great. The bed was incredibly comfortable and the mattress could probably use replacing - the sagging on either edge of the bed was horrible. Lastly, the toilet room light was on a sensor...the last thing I want is the bright light to come on while using the bathroom at night, especially if I'm sharing the room.

Gorgeous place, well kitted out rooms, nice staff. Our room was small, enough room for a queen bed but that was fine as it was exceptionally quiet even tho on the street side. Breakfast delicious and decent value compared to other hotels.

The stay was absolutely amazing. First of all, the interior had this perfect balance of chic elegance and cozy warmth. Everything was spotless, and the space just felt so comfortable. Second, the neighborhood was quiet and safe which was the kind of place where you actually get to see how locals live. There were plenty of cute cafés and great restaurants nearby, and the park right out front looked perfect for a morning run or a weekend picnic. But most importantly, the staff were truly wonderful. Everyone was so warm and kind, especially Becky at the reception, who made the whole experience unforgettable.
