Lovely hotel in , great location, staff friendly and helpful. Room clean and bed incredibly comfortable. Very easy to get to all major tourist attractions
Heating system in room hit and.miss. Wonderful shower but not keen on access to shower directly from bedroom. Would have preferred a separate bathroom .

We arrived at the hotel around 11:00 PM with a rental car. Both the receptionist and the valet insisted—multiple times—that we had to use valet parking. They told us street parking would cost €7 per hour, while valet parking was €65. The next morning, we found out that street parking is actually free between 00:00 and 09:00. When we went back to question them, they denied everything and said they never told us that. They kept insisting and avoided responsibility. We refused to pay the valet fee after insisting. Be careful—this felt like a clear attempt to mislead guests. Don’t fall for it.

The room was great. Loved the river view. Comfy beds.
On arrival, after a very early flight from Dublin, the concierge kindly offered for myself and my daughter to have a coffee at the restaurant coffee machine. The restaurant receptionist also kindly directed us on where to find the machine. As we sat down, the manager/waiter advised we were not allowed unless we were having breakfast. We explained we had eaten breakfast early and had just arrived but he was not interested and was quite abrupt telling us to leave. This was not a good first impression and he made us feel very unwelcome. We spent much of the day in Amsterdam waiting to check in at 3pm. The receptionist had said we would be contacted once the room became available but we never got a call. We arrived back at the hotel at 3pm and the room was not ready. There were a lot of staff behind reception but they were not updating us on what was going on. We waited at the armchairs beside reception but I had to keep asking if our room was ready as no one was updating us. We were also exhausted. New arrivals at reception were checking in no problem. We felt completely ignored. Things improved once we hot our room but I have to say the staff at reception at 3pm and in the restaurant on arrival let the hotel down for us. Other staff were amazing, very helpful and friendly.

The room was great, clean. The staff were very friendly. The building was beautiful.
The mattress was a little hard for my taste, but that's a very personal thing, that's not on the hotel.
