The location was fantastic, the quality and standard of the entire place from reception to the lifts and corridors and room was really great. The staff were really warm and friendly, every time we went in and out of the building, not just on check in. Our room was ready at 12pm when check in was officially from 3pm, and that was great too so we didnt have to find something to do for a few hours before settling in to our rooms!
I booked a Superior King room and the bed was two singles pushed together. I was really disappointed by that as they were slightly different height, you could feel the seem of the edges of them and if you slept close to the middle of the bed you felt like you were sinking slightly in between the two of them, so it wasnt a smooth level/even surface. This reduced the enjoyment of having a larger bed. Also, I would have liked more international (English speaking) tv channels.

Very friendly staff and great location for our first visit to Amsterdam. The hotel was very nice, clean and comfortable and we really enjoyed our stay! We would recommend.
For the price we paid, we did expect breakfast to be included which it wasnt (it could be added for 40 a day!) so we had to go elsewhere in the mornings.

The staff were amazing from the reception to the concierge staff to all the staff in the breakfast room. Room was great for our toddler who is stuck into everything, it had a lovely bath and shower and fantastic elemis products
Maybe have no mini bar in room with children as my daughter kept taking bottles out every time I opened fridge for her milk or yogurts and it's automatically charged to your bill. Maybe also a better mattress on the baby crib quiet uncomfortable for her
