Location was excellent! A short walk from the Amsterdam Central & close to all the shops.
The rooms didn’t feel as clean as it should be for the price. Clean, but mini fridge smelled stale & carpets needed more vacuuming around the corners.

i have stayed in the same hotel several times for it's excellent location, comfortable rooms, helpful staff, convenient access to ground transportation
You would not find many amenities in the bathroom, only the very essential ones . In high season, the hotel is a little higher priced than necessary agains similar ones more in downtown

Location was perfect! Near public transportation and train system.
Lounge was wonderful and relaxing so we had a cocktail every night after a long day of sightseeing.
Planters in front of hotel entrance. I tripped on the smaller planter and really hurt myself. Another lady had tripped the day before. No comment or concern from management. That was a bummer.

Location and service.
No slippers at all and no bottled drinking water other than 2 Nos. 300 ml each for the first day of check in. That wasn’t the case last year . The hotel isn’t cheap and this kind of service is basic and not costly .

It was well located to the train station and near enough where our river cruise ship was moored that we could easily walk. The area has many shops and is a good place to wander. It was amazingly quiet for where it is located.
The room could have been a bit more well appointed. There wasn’t a clock, the chairs were very uncomfortable so we ended up sitting on the bed. The shower floor was very slippery so be careful.

the first time we checked-in to the hotel, they gave us room upgrades and free breakfasts etc...
room was awesome but unfortunately with our tight schedules, we couldn't enjoy the breakfasts.
awesome staff and all were very friendly, including the concierge boys , the front desk staffs etc...
the second time we checked-in, they did not give us any room upgrades, they put us in a very small room, and this time, no free breakfasts also... I mean i understand that this is on a case to case basis but if she would try... she could do it.
having said that, this above issue doesn't take away the hotel charm and the beauty of its location and its accessibility.

The location and facilities were outstanding. Breakfast was great too.
The AC turned off every time we went outside. There was no way to keep it running. The front desk had to reset or control it every evening which was a pain for me and for them.
