Fantastic very convenient location. Lovely views over canal and to illuminated central station.Luggage storage if required. Excellent buffet breakfast (but maybe chop the fruit a bit smaller and put the cereals before the milk and yogurt to improve flow). Something for everyone at breakfast and we always left satisfied. Hotel nice, reception and concierge staff very friendly.
First room stunk of smoke so we refused it. Second room not made up. Third room tiny and not what we expected from booking.com pics. I know I sound like goldilocks but by the time we got the fourth room which was very nice and what we expected almost 2 hours had passed which meant I had to cancel a planned museum visit. They need more cleaning staff as rooms not made up till mid-late afternoon. Used cups and glasses never cleaned or replaced. Our room had a touch pad for all lights. Couldn’t read it without glasses and sometimes it didn’t work from one side of bed. Room never seemed bright enough. We normally happily reuse towels but big towels need a rail to dry not a little wall hook so we replaced daily.

Great location if you need to use central station to do day trips. The heated indoor pool and sauna were a nice addition since we travelled in October. Rooms were spacious and had all that you needed. The staff were amazing.
The hotel is quite big, cruise ship company also sets up from there, it was noticeable when they were all staying, very very busy! We had to use two seperate elevators and cross a bridge to get to our room from the lobby. Not the hotels fault but the central is very dirty and over crowded, I would suggest staying in Jordaan or Vondelpark.

Of the 4 night stay, 2 days no room cleaning/maid service turned up between 9 and 5. Had to be chased at reception.

Very near the central train station . Stuff very nice . Big rooms . They have indoor pool and spa
If it’s very noisy outside- and it is in special events , you can hear it inside your room . The room price is high
