Perfect location opposite Amsterdam central station. Incredibly friendly and helpful staff. Really comfortable bed. Pool and sauna were a fantastic way to start the day, and the umbrella rental was a nice touch too! Room service was very reasonably priced at late/early hours.

The location was superb, rooms very quiet and beds so comfortable. The staff were lovely, especially in Vic's bar. The pool and sauna were great, and always quiet when we used them. We will definitely use this hotel again if we return to Amsterdam.

Breakfast was lovely, a good selection of fresh juices, fresh fruit, breads, continental meats, sausage, bacon and other cooked items, yoghurts, and omelettes cooked to order. Breakfast was from 7-11, so you don't have to rush down early, and you can stay as long as you want, and eat as much or as little as you want. There's a good selection of food, so there's something for everyone, and the staff are excellent and can't do enough to help you. Our room had a very comfy King size bed, with great views of the train station and canal. The room is well equipped with drinks making facilities, fridge, iron and ironing board, hair dryer, TV (free view TV and films you can order). The bathroom was spacious and very clean, the shower had high pressure and various settings, and there were plenty of towels available, which can be replaced at any time with a call to reception. From check in to check out, everything was perfect, and the staff make you feel like nothing is too much trouble, just let them know what you need and they sort everything out for you.

Our room was facing the central station so we were treated with an amazing view day and night. Staff are friendly.
No slippers and bottled water—the little things but just got used to getting them in other hotels.
