Room was clean bed was comfortable…
Air con didn’t work asked for it to be fixed but never was sorted … tv was tiny … bathroom mirror no anti fog …when checking in the staff couldn’t get the check in system working … after 30 mins we agreed to let us go to our room and we could sort it in the morning.

To increase the number of rooms, the room sizes were reduced. We stayed as two people, and it was nearly impossible to fit two suitcases in these rooms. You cannot walk around without bumping into each other, and the rooms have lost all sense of comfort. The room cleaning service was terrible. The carpet in the room was dirty, there were no slippers, and while there were towels in the bathroom, there was no bathrobe—you have to specifically request these items. I don’t understand how a hotel room can lack basic slippers. They seem to have cut corners on everything under the guise of sustainability. The internet service they offer is extremely slow and constantly cuts out. It was incredibly slow and didn’t even work in certain parts of that tiny room. There is no room service in the hotel. The reception is a disaster—they don’t answer the phone, and you have to ring multiple times. When someone finally picks up, they are extremely rude. The coffee machine in the room was very old. I wanted to have coffee at 10:30 PM, but I couldn’t get any. When I called the reception, they said there was no service to the room. When I asked for milk for my coffee, they sent something resembling powdered milk. There wasn’t even milk for coffee in the entire hotel. The hotel is run entirely by an amateur, indifferent, and incompetent team. On previous trips, I stayed at NH Hotel, and then I stayed at this hotel once or twice and was very satisfied. After that, I always chose this hotel for my trips. However, after the hotel changed ownership, it no longer resembles its former self. For people who care about reviews, my advice is to choose another hotel; this hotel is truly not worth the price.

A really nice, modern room with a very comfortable bed. The staff were friendly and helpful, especially at checkin and breakfast. Strong recommend for the waffles and pancakes from the breakfast menu! The location is excellent too: a short walk from tram connections at the Leidseplein, and ideally located for a walk into Amsterdam or around the Vondelpark.
Seating in the bar area is a bit sparse and some seats are draughty from the front door. Adding a wider range of comfortable seating there would be great.

Nice decor. Although room bathrooms are quite tired.
Despite requesting a high-floor room to avoid street noise (after reading several reviews), it made no difference—the noise was still very noticeable. The internal walls are also extremely thin, with sounds from neighbouring rooms (coughing, toilets, even singing duets next door) clearly audible. All four guests were less than refreshed in the morning due to lack of sleep. The bathroom cleanliness could most definitely be improved. I will spare you details. The biggest issue was the taxi arranged by the hotel. An Uber would have cost around €22 and an online taxi about €49, yet the hotel-arranged ride was €90. This felt excessive and misleading. Readers of this review should be cautious and consider booking transport independently to avoid being taken advantage as this left a really sour taste for us when such a short journey. I assume there are kick backs in operation here. Overall, not the experience I expected, and I would urge anyone considering this hotel to be mindful before booking.

The hotel was great!!! We have 3 kids and they were able to accommodate our request for 2 rooms next to each other. The hotel was very modern and clean and the staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. We opted for the breakfast option and it surpassed our expectations. We just wish the coffee portions were larger :) Our kids really loved playing pool in the lobby after a day running around the city. The location was perfect for us - easy to walk almost anywhere. We would 100% come back to this hotel.
The only negative was not being able to check in early.

Wonderful
Nice total appearance and proffesionalism. Very clean, location ok close to museums. MOMO is a good restaurant and amazing breakfast, healthy one amd fresh.
The maine negative fact is that the walls betweem rooms was very thin and absolute all can be heard between rooms. It was like we shared room with neighbours. Big advice to add slippers into the room, the floor is verry cold.
