Extremely good location. Next door to the Musuems and a short walk to the Jordaan neighbourhood which is beautiful and full of cafes/shops. If you wanted to go out for a night out Leidesplein was right on the door step.

Very polite and professional staff who are quick to accommodate your needs and expectations, an excellent hotel location, especially if you are fond of art and nature (major museums and a large park just steps away), clean, well-maintained rooms and a very good breakfast.
A high security deposit charged at check-in in case of damage, especially if you pay with a debit card (100 EUR per day), which is not clearly stated in the accommodation notes during the booking process.

Excellent location, right next to the park and the museums. Room was lovely, bed was a great size and pillows were very comfy. shower and bathroom were great, TV worked fine. Really pleased with it overall.
I think we could have gotten a complementary drink at the start but it wasn't clear that it was free so I said no, but that might have just been me being a bit slow!!

Location and friendly staff
Despite paying for a premium stay my experience was horrible. The hotel looked very nice in social media platforms but i got shocked when i checked in. To start, getting to the floor your room is in is a nightmare the elevator doesn’t sound right and shacked randomly in multiple occasions; also it is extremely slow. Next is the heating radiator; for the first 2 days the room was freezing and the radiator was not working properly, the staff had to bring me a portable heater. Third is the lighting; the room felt like a cave with no ceiling lights, they had cheap looking-glaring light stands which caused me migraines. The room also missed any kind of hotel decoration.. the room decoration doesn’t reflect the luxury in the lobby. And what frustrated me the most was the bad internet. During my stay i had to call the reception every night to check the internet; it was very unstable. Lastly the bathroom; shower side dish had black stains on the nozzels; the trash was slipping pressing down to open the lid was not working.. i ended up leaving trash on top; also the ventilation was not that great .. the bathroom always smelled after i used it for hours.
