Disappointing
The hotel is very close to all the major sites. It’s right on the train/tram line. It’s old and the neighborhood is a bit grimy. We paid a fortune because it was kings day and peak tulip season.

Staff is friendly and helpful. Location is great. Nice to have a water station and coffee in the morning.
We were on the street side the first night, waaayy to noisy. The staff was able to move us to a quieter room on the back side. We wanted the AC on, but it has to be turned on for the whole floor, so they gave us fans instead.

We booked a room for 3 and the room was very spacious for all of us.

The breakfast was great, the staff was very friendly specially the ones serving breakfast. When we first arrived we were kindly greeted by one of the staff members and he was very nice and attentive. The location was amazing.
It was a little noisy during the night.

The room was spacious and pleasant with all the required facilities. The location was excellent near the Center, Jordaan and 9 straatjes area and the tram stop. We did not have breakfast at the hotel.
Infront of the hotel there is a small park with tram lines going to and fro the central station every 2 minutes from 6.00am until 12.00 midnight. The windows are wooden and don't seal well so if you are bothered by noise choose a back facing room.

Location
The cleanliness was unacceptable. Towels had hair and food stains, and the bed sheets had makeup residue and hair everywhere. Even after informing housekeeping, the room was not properly cleaned.
The sound insulation is extremely poor — you can clearly hear neighbors and the constant creaking of wooden floors. Access to some rooms is inconvenient since the elevators do not serve all floors, which makes carrying luggage difficult.
On the positive side, the heating worked well and the complimentary drinks in the lobby are a nice touch. The location is good and close to the market and main attractions. However, rooms facing the street are noisy due to trams and bicycles.
Overall, the price is not justified for the quality provided.

Great central location. Easy walk to everything including bars, restaurants, metro stops, etc. About 30 mins from the airport but didn’t feel like it at all.
Our room was facing the street and it was very loud at night, mainly due to the train stop directly in front and people walking the area late at night. If you’re looking for a quiet place to rest your head at night this may not be the best place for you but if you can sleep through anything then you’ll love it. I ended up buying ear plugs and those did help.

We had such a great experience at this hotel. The staff were incredibly generous, welcoming, and always helpful. The location is very central and close to everything, which made our stay so convenient. The rooms were spacious and very clean.
We truly enjoyed our time and would definitely come back!

We had a wonderful stay. The entire staff was very wholesome and helpful. Breakfast was rich and good. There are free coffee, tea and water in the lobby. They also have umburellas that you can borrow.
Location is the best! 3 minutes walk from Dam square, very close metro and tram stations and to all the good places to eat.
The room did not have a closet which was unconvenient.
Arriving to the room is a little confusing because the hallways are kind of a maze, but maybe its like that in a lot of hotels in amsterdam.
