I loved how clean all of the spaces were, from the reception area, the toilets, the restaurant, the gym & omg...our rooms.
Super, shiny clean bathroom, towels & bedding.
I loved that the vents for the air conditioning was clean & not full of dust.
I loved the option of being rewarded for going green & being able to book a late check out. The goodie pots of snacks/sweets and the wholistic attention to hygiene; slogan on napkins, re the snacks & cutting bread at breakfast.
The staff were amazing! Particularly Sofia & Paul Vincent. The bar staff, Alex who looked after us at dinner, 7th.8.26 & the young man who finished prepping my advacado dish at the table. The lift that left me feeling that I had experienced the speed of light: it was fast & silent- I am sure it took less than 10 seconds to go from ground to the 20th floor.
I am sure it wasn't the designers intention; six lifts, press the button on one, then stand ready to dash to the one that opened. Great anerobic exercise plus cognitive & physical speed exercise. The views from the aptly named The View restaurant, our rooms & the Selva restaurant were wonderful.
It is sooooo close to the train station.
Oh yes, I cannot forget to mention the kettle that for the first 2 days I thought was a teapot...lol & the few seconds it took me to realise that the goldfish in the bedside table was not real.lollollol
The unique decor of our rooms, representing world cultures & for a person with OCD, the beautiful red bins in the hall with a working pedal.
I adored the freshly squeezed orange juice station & compliments to the breakfast chef; on Tuesday morning, the scrambled eggs tasted so deliciously buttery.
I did not get her name but there was a female member of staff in a blue suit I think, on duty in the restaurant on Tuesday morning around 9-10. She saw that I was struggling due to my hip pain & helped me get a table & my breakfast.
The one thing I did not like, and only mention it as you asked is that behind the reception is a swirling animated screen. It made me feel as if the room was spinning, so it meant that when I was speaking to a member of staff, I had to look away like a sort of weird person.

Good hotel, design and features were very good. Comfortable room and bed.
One recommendation , as the hotel is large and appears to host many clients attending events/conferences the breakfast room is extremely busy and suggest a separate coffee station in the area as this area is always backed up. The hotel while is out of central Amsterdam it's only a 10-12 minute ride by metro which is a 5 min walk away.

Everything! No fault to find with this hotel. Nice big clean room. Great bed! Fab shower. Brilliant airco. Everything you need, coffee machine, kettle, fridge with 2 bottles of water. Shampoo, Conditioner, Shower gel, Body lotion, hairdryer. Great views. Wonderful staff. Breakfast also great, plenty of choice including a full English! Perfect location. Next to the train station which is 2 stops away from Schiphol airport. Trams, Busses and Metro (underground) on the doorstep. No noise from trains, all sound proof. No noise from any other rooms or people on corridors either! Highly recommend this hotel.

Good location and modern building. Comfy clean rooms. Snack shop is good (see negative section re price tho)
Check-In/Out a little busy. No food after 10.30pm is a bit poor for a hotel this size - Shop with over priced food and drink instead
