The location is excellent for easy access to the city, the hotel is excellent with beautiful bars, restaurants and rooms. The staff at possibly the most attentive and knowledgeable plus always looking to help you out. I’ve stayed twice now but will definitely be going back

The way to my room was quite far and the room not big, but most rooms in Amsterdam are quite small, even in five star hotels. .
I usually like one good restaurant. Anantara had one easy going lunch restaurant which is good, but the menu in the star restaurant was too long and complicated for me. I never have dinner on business trips without business. I like good, quite restaurants but no set up menues. I instead went to Mid Town Grill in the evening.

Bedroom good and very clean. We enjoyed the full breakfast compliments from the hotel. Have a late breakfast so you can skip lunch! We had a splendid time in Amsterdam as you can't beat this location!
With the busy Easter week we were there, we had to wait several hours for our 2 rooms to become available. The hotel did compensate with E200 and free breakfast for us so that was quite kind of them. Our rooms however was on the 2nd floor right above a busy street, which initially was interesting but didn't realize how noisy this would become during midnight. We bought this up with the hotel, but not much they can do outside of their premises. Thus, get a rooms along a quieter street or higher up would be abit more peaceful.
