Everything!
Location is the BEST closed to everything we needed to go most specifically the Amsterdam Central Station about 5mis walk only.
Staff are super nice. Service is EXCEPTIONAL in every part.
Very clean and spacious rooms. Elevators are so fast and efficient. Breakfast buffet has lots of options.
Nothing.
We wish there’s an indoor swimming pool.

The room was right on the canal which was fun! A little loud at times but they provided ear plugs.
We couldn't get into the hotel after 9pm without having to buzz the front desk to let us in. They always responded quickly and weren't far but it was a little irksome. Apparently it was because of our room location. But it was very annoying to not be able to just scan into the hotel like everyone else and it was a problem every single night that no one had a remedy for.

Great location. Staff was fantastic. Hotel breakfast was great.
My original room was very tiny. Too tiny b for me. I went to desk and they worked to get me in a better room.... there was an additional cost, but for me.... worth every penny. My original room had a single bed. Ill assume I made the mistake in booking, but I am 6'1 and 200 lbs....I generally look for that when booking hotel in Europe.

Location
Reception admitted their fault request for bed configuration had not been noted but did not honor original rate to give us room we asked for - our options were wrong configuration or pay more. The extra was not onerous at €25 a night but by the same token felt as goodwill gesture they could have honored booked rate
Room was cold - even at max heat on the in room temperature control
Towels were thin and hard - hardly what expected from a 5 star hotel. Amenities in bathroom lacking vs other hotels even a star rating below
Rooms next to canal are not only smelly from damp but it is like descending into a dungeon to get there - dark staircase and passageway and smell of damp

Such a comfortable and welcoming hotel in the heart of the city. Beds were wonderful. The sauna is fantastic - highly recommend. Staff were warm and helpful. Definitely recommend.
