The room was a good size for 2 people, everything about it was comfortable and quiet. The staff were super friendly and pleasant at all times. I appreciated that they helped with scheduling Taxi's and directions around town
I wish the switch to operate the light was inside the bathroom. Not a major problem, but just not used to that configuration

Friendly staff, comfy bed, nicely decorated communal areas, very clean. Great location for accessing all areas in central Amsterdam.
The ceilings were low, I had to crouch to have a shower - I am tall but even my wife couldn't get her head under the shower and she's average height. Having a bath plus shower loses several inches of height - remove the bath and have a walk in shower instead.
The wardrobe design was bizarre - there was a small section on the right to hang a few items of clothing but a huge wasted area that wasn't used for anything - this was a poor design choice.
It's expensive - I didn't feel it was good value for money unfortunately.

Location and room was spacious
Lack of toilets close to the breakfast area, the bathroom in our bedroom lack counter space it felt a bit uncomfortable to place our personal toiletries

Great location. Right in the centre of everything. Just a short walk to most attractions. Can’t comment on breakfast or the restaurant as I didn’t try either of these.
Upgraded to room with a balcony and view. The balcony was tiny and the view was disappointing. If I was to return I wouldn’t bother upgrading.
We opted for a ‘green stay’ and didn’t have our room serviced throughout the 3 night stay in exchange for 2 free drinks at the bar, the drinks voucher was unknowingly slipped inside the door hanger and we didn’t notice it was there until after it had expired.

The breakfast was ok. We arrived half an hour before the closing time of 11am and the hot food had been there for some time, was not replenished even though there was little left, and was not well cooked. The other items were nice but hot food was lacking.
At 10.30pm on Saturday night we wanted to get a drink but they were actively closing up the bar. So no option to get a drink at that time in the bar or the lobby. We then tried to get ice to our room which took over 30 minutes to be delivered.
