Really comfortable bed and pillow. Usually I don't sleep well in hotels, but this time I slept fantastic. Also the extra blanket that we asked for was great.
Quite a bit of dust under the bed, which was very disappointing.

It's nicely decorated and clean.
The bed is huge and so is the blanket.
The shower is spacious and functional with plenty of shelves to put your toiletries.
There was a pretty big crack under our entrance door which meant you could hear everyone outside and vise versa.
The tv is old and very basic, no Netflix/HBO etc. nor casting, unless you have a USB to HDMI cable and a device that supports video output through it.

Rude and disrespectful staff, who did not want to solve a simple problem at check in. I just wanted to add a second person to my booking, which I made with booking.com. His response was: you booked with Booking.com, so solve your problem with them. Although, all it required for me to pay a small additional for a part of the stay. This staff actually refused check me in (the room was prepaid) and threw my ID card. This was an act of humiliation that I never had in my life in a hotel.
Finally, when I attempted to contact Booking.com, he changed and solved the problem in a minute. He basically forced me to pay for breakfast of the accompanied person for all 7 days of my stay, although my companion stayed only 3 days.
It is apparently about the relations between Booking.com and this hotel, but a client should never be a hostage of such relations.

I stayed at NH Amsterdam Zuid from November 14 to 22 and this was by far the most disappointing hotel experience I have had in Amsterdam. I visit this hotel several times a year and always expected a certain level of professionalism and security. What happened this time was simply unacceptable.
One night we accidentally left a suitcase outside our room. By the next morning it was gone. When we approached the staff, there was no urgency, no real concern, and no willingness to help. We kept asking throughout the day if they had checked the cameras or made any effort to find out what happened. Every time the answer was the same vague line that they were still looking into it.
Eventually the shift manager told us that they cannot check anything and that if we want answers we should go to the police. This was the official response from a hotel that advertises itself as high standard and located in one of the safest areas of Amsterdam. Instead of support or accountability, we got excuses and a complete dismissal of responsibility. We were even told that the hallways are a public area, so it is not their problem.
I came to this hotel trusting that my stay and my belongings would be secure. Instead, I was left with the feeling that the hotel simply does not care. As a guest who stays here multiple times a year, I expected at least the minimum effort. Unfortunately, it became clear that the hotel does not respect its returning customers and offers no real assistance when something goes wrong.
People considering this hotel should be aware that if anything happens to your belongings inside the hotel, you will likely be left on your own. The attitude, the lack of responsibility, and the unwillingness to take action were shocking. I will not be returning after this experience that for sure.

The staff is very polite and professional, the room was quite good and clean, the gym is good, there is also the sauna available. Very good breakfast in terms of food and quality of service. The location is great, just few mins walk to Gelderlandplein shopping mall and not far from Amsterdam Zuid station. There's also a bicycle rental service. Highly recommended!

Room and breakfast were what you would expect from a 4* hotel. Everything went smooth and they actually were nice to let me work in the room until 1PM (extended checkout). The location was close to a pretty nice park which i imagine would be nice to bike in. The fact that it was not in the city center helped me get some actual sleep for a change :)

The bed and bathroom were very nice, slept well
Al lot! The prive is way to high for quality. The room was very dusty on the floor. Dinnr was horrible. 21 euro’s for a kip sate, with just two small sticks, some kroepoek and fries. They said with vegetables, but I had to ask for them. Got a small portion of packet of ah roerbakgroenten. They immediately said sorry and gave cola for free. My key loch didn’t work, they had to reset it. The next morning i told them honestly by the desk how my experience was. They saud i had fresh kip sate, wich wasn’t. They immediaygave parking space for free. You only do that this easily when you know you are not doing ok. Not coming back!

Excellent choice to attend to events at the RAI. Only a short ride from the RAI and the Zuid station. Easy to access by public transportation. Spacious, comfortable and clean rooms. I was very pleased with my stay. In comparison to hotels in the center of Amsterdam, this was an excellent choice for a fair price.
