Practically, everything was OK!
A little bit noisy, but a very efficient air conditioner. It should be taken into account that a nearby bus goes once per 30 minutes.

Disappointing
The desk staff were helpful and very overworked (too many check-in with few staff), but they were patient and kind. They really tried!! The AC worked really well and it was great, as the heat wave made being outdoors difficult. There was also an Eco option to not have the room cleaned daily and a coupon for drinks was offered if you chose that option.
The breakfast was good, with a variety of items to choose from. Coffee was good as well. The bar/cafe had good fish and chips and the burger option looked good as well. I would opt elsewhere for food however, as there are great eateries for breakfast, lunch and dinner very near.
There was plenty of parking at the hotel as well and it was centrally located to the University and also to eateries and a park.
We were there three nights, not two--detail seems to get lost at this hotel.
While parking underground was available, my partner actually got locked into the garage and couldn't get out. When I went to check on him, he was pounding on the door trying to get in. Apparently there was a 'glitch'? It was dangerous, as he was trapped.
Sadly, the room we were given "standard" was so small and oddly shaped in a V shape, that the chair in it could not move to get into the bed, so you didn't have access to the nightstand drawer. The TV mount paint was damaged and badly scratched (distracting as it was bright green). The desk was tightly in the corner and there was no electrical plug (we had to ask for an extension cord). The bathroom plug didn't work and then when "fixed" it still would not work for a curling iron. The floors were badly damaged and corners not clean, someone else left socks in the closet. The bath products were so watered down that we asked for a replacement of lotion twice, before we went to the desk and they found a 'normal' bottle of lotion.
Apparently there is a renovation being done and some rooms await. I sure wish we would have gotten a better room so we could at least move freely.
Service and food in the bar/cafe was incredibly....incredibly slow. While my partner had an okay meal, my salad was almost half inedible, as the greens were old/spoiled. A hot appetizer was cold in the center. The server, while friendly, was incredibly slow and distracted. Eg, we waited over a half hour to order (we were two of three in the bar), then waited even longer for the food and another half hour for the check once asked. At one point, I asked the workers at check in for help with needing a glass--they did so immediately. If a hotel want to serve food in a cafe or bar style, it's really important to do it responsibly.

I LOVED the location. Is located in a very peaceful and quiet area outside Amsterdam centre but is very well communicated. The staff was very nice and friendly. Everything was sparkling clean and the hotel has a lot of accommodations to make your stay very pleasant.

The room is very large, with an iron and refrigerator in the room. The bathroom is spacious, with a large desk and independent air conditioning and heating. The Wi-Fi is perfect, even the paid option (recommended). The staff is helpful, and cleaning (upon request) can be done daily at no additional charge.
The cost is high for an out-of-town location. Transportation is primarily provided by two late-night bus lines, departing about every 45 minutes. The rooms are well soundproofed, but the doors are not. All additional services are paid for, and there's not even free drinking water. Parking is unproven.

The hotel is located in a nice quiet area, a large grocery store is a few hundred meters away. The breakfast was varied and delicious. The beds are comfortable. You can also rent bikes from the hotel for a reasonable price.
At times the room was too dark and the window could be opened.

The room was exemptional as it was very spacious even the toilet was spacious. Neighborhood was peaceful and quiet many restaurant within the area. In addition there is a bus stop right outside the hotel.
the hotel was far from the city central and also the staff that assisted us during our check-in need to be assisted by a senior staff.

I have been staying in NH hotels for the past 3 years; however this hotel was not up to NH chain. It seems to be a dated hotel incorporated by NH. Spring mattress was very uncomfortable.

Really comfortable bed and pillow. Usually I don't sleep well in hotels, but this time I slept fantastic. Also the extra blanket that we asked for was great.

It's nicely decorated and clean.
The bed is huge and so is the blanket.
The shower is spacious and functional with plenty of shelves to put your toiletries.
There was a pretty big crack under our entrance door which meant you could hear everyone outside and vise versa.
The tv is old and very basic, no Netflix/HBO etc. nor casting, unless you have a USB to HDMI cable and a device that supports video output through it.
