Pleasant
The location is exceptional for exploring the whole city. The staff were very nice. Luggage storage very helpful. The soundproofing was excellent, even for being a noisy plaza outside, room was silent.
The room was comically small. Couldn't open the wardrobe doors the whole way. Or the desk chair at the end of the bed. One side of the bed had no table. There was another room available but with a double bed instead of a twin. We said that was fine but could we have two single duvets and the housekeeping woman said no. So... it was a no.

Disappointing
Only the position. It's downtown and easy to access by train and tram. Full of place to drink and beer.
The Price/quality was not representative for a NH Hotel. Roomm very small, no minibar, and bathroom very very small.

Wonderful
Location is excellent - close to just about everything and located on Rembrandtsplein which is very festive but not raucous. The staff are also lovely, really helpful and efficient. The breakfast and bar area is a perfect spot for people watching - highly recommended for a city break
Ubers cannot drop you at the hotel which makes travelling with luggage a challenge - its a short walk but not an easy one - especially in bad weather

The space between the bed and the workstation is a little tight. We weren’t about to use the Coffee maker on the tray without moving it to the other end of the table to plug it in. The bed was made up as twin we booked a double bed. Bed was too firm for me. After 2 nights housekeeping suppled a mattress topper. It was still a bit too firm for me but better than without it. The blackout curtains were very welcome. All staff were pleasant, polite, friendly, helpful and professional. Breakfast staff were amazing. So attentive to my dietary needs. Nothing was too much trouble for them. We will recommend you and we’d like to stay again.
The first night had a very pungent drain smell emanating from the shower drain. It was present all night. It dissipated the next evening after we’d used the shower. I’m used to a bath sheet but managed with a smaller bath towel.
