Great location - walking distance to most attractions, especially very close to Golden bend, Seven bridges and the Skinny Bridge.
Please note - The Uber taxi was not allowed to park in front of the hotel—or anywhere on Rembrandt Square, in fact. The staff was unhelpful and only informed us of this rule after we asked several times, by which point the Uber driver had already had to leave.”

Disappointing
The location was great, easy to access
1. They only clean the rooms once every 4 days!!
2. The water bottles were filled from tab water
3. We had reserved a queen size bed but they give us twins and were very uncomfortable for a couple.
4. They were very short staffed and when we asked for something they told us to come get it ourselves cause they had no one to bring up for us

Pleasant
The location, the staff was friendly and that it had a safe.
The pillows and the bed were very uncomfortable. We asked for another set of pillows, they still weren’t comfortable, my ears started to hurt if I lay on one side for too long. TV channels were limited.

Poor
The location of this hotel truly can't be beaten — right in the heart of Amsterdam, and they clearly know it will always be a major draw for visitors. Unfortunately, that's the only positive thing I can say. Everything else about the experience was disappointing.
Our stay began with a very impersonal check-in — we may as well not have been there. At no point during this process were we informed that room servicing had to be requested.
The bathroom in our room, although not bad in design, left much to be desired. The extractor fan did not appear to be working, and there were no proper rails to hang towels to dry. With the door closed, the bathroom remained permanently damp, and the only way to ventilate the room was by opening the French windows that led to the balcony.
While I fully support reusing towels in the interest of sustainability, a hotel must provide the necessary facilities to make this possible. Simply claiming to be sustainable is not enough. A hook does not allow a towel to dry sufficiently to be reused multiple times, especially in an already damp bathroom, and this quickly became a source of frustration during our stay.
Due to the issue of constantly wet towels, we had to request fresh ones, and more than once, they were not provided. Even after a receptionist assured us the issue would be resolved, we returned from a long day out to find that our room had not been serviced and the wet towels we had left on the floor were still there, untouched. We had to go to reception ourselves to ask for new ones.
I finally asked to speak to a manager to air my frustrations. She said I should have been told at check-in that room servicing had to be requested. This, of course, did not happen. It was three days before they finally cleaned our room and replaced empty water bottles, which we had been filling from the lobby ourselves.
This hotel's rates are high, so guests should expect better service. The overall decor is a little tired now, and we left feeling very disappointed with our experience.

The location is excellent, very central and close to many restaurants, shops and bars. The staff were very friendly. We received a free upgrade, which was nice and the room was very quiet. Unfortunately, that was the best part, otherwise the place is in need of some loving maintenance and overall, not really worth the money. We have stayed at less expensive, more comfortable places in Amsterdam.
So many things, after a lovely lobby, the place is pretty soul-less and run down. Feels more like a motel somewhere on a highway. We received a free upgrade for a junior suit, but the room was set up very strangely, with the bed facing the door, so you look at the emergency escape plan the whole time. Even worse, it was two single beds put together, not even a king or queen bed, which was truly bad when they started rolling around with every movement. That was disappointing. The bathroom was like any other chain hotel, cheap worn-out towels... for the price not really understandable. Same for breakfast, nice little buffet, but standard processed meats, no scrambled eggs, no fresh juice, no salmon, etc... Not what we expected, and there are better hotels for less, which are also centrally located.

All staff are very cooperative. Hotel is clean, has comfortable bed. I asked for a back side room and they provided me the type I asked for. Has good breakfast. Location is perfect, tram stop is just infront of the hotel.
Little expensive for the price they charge.

It was very central, the train station was a short tram journey away. The Royal Palace and other attractions were all within easy walking distance.
The room was spotlessly clean and the windows opened out onto a leafy courtyard.
The hotel was very dated and the room was very small and awkwardly shaped (steps up into the room and then down to the bed) the bathroom was tiny (it was the smallest bathroom I’ve even used - but the shower was surprisingly big once you squeezed past the sink to get to it).

Wonderful
Fantastic stay in Amsterdam! The location was perfect, making it easy to explore the city. The room was bright, airy, and very comfortable. Service was outstanding — the staff were friendly and helpful throughout. Highly recommend!
The only downside was that we couldn't get a double bed and had to use two singles pushed together, but I completely understand it was a busy time due to King's Day. Overall, it was still a great experience

Just the location
They give us the worst room in the entire hotel in the 5th floor room 501 it was in the ally next to the elevator and the elevator was the old kind so you hear the door slamming every time anybody use it and above that there was another door that let you in front of the elevator that enters you for the other rooms so the sound of the door salming become double when I asked the reception’s for another room he rudely said that there is no other room available (sentenced a racism tone) so that was a horrible experience.
