Wonderful
Good location, clean and comfortable, excellent staff and service. The only hotel I’ve seen where they provide drinking water bottle for the room. Staff is very friendly and service was good, they were prompt in fulfilling our requests.
None. Location is facing Rembrandtplein which means noise from the street can be loud however we had the backside room which did not have this issue

Lovely hotel, excellent room.
There could have been a luggage rack in the room. We put our suitcase on the arms of the chair. The tourist/city tax should have been mentioned in Booking.com, as it was an extra cost we did not expect.

There were two small elevators so we never had a problem getting up or down. We knew our room wouldn't be ready when we arrived at 10:00 am, so we waited in the lobby and got into ours at 1:30 pm rather than 3:00 pm. The room was very large considering the size of most in Amsterdam and Europe. It was very quiet on the 4th floor as we were in the back of the hotel. We had an Uber drop us off right at the door from the AMS airport. However, the hotel told us we needed to walk around the corner to get an Uber to the cruise terminal. The hotel was fine for a two-night pre-cruise stay as there were plenty of places to see and food/bars nearby.
The shower was very nice, but the floor was slippery. It would have been good to have a rubber mat or some grab bars to help to avoid failing.

Fantastic location to most major city sights. Lots of local food and restaurants when you don't want to wander too far.
Large rooms available if you want the space
Air conditioning work when it was about 75 degrees F or so, but not going to cut it when it gets hotter. Hope they continue to review options as climate change drives temps hotter.

Disappointing
LOocation is in the middle of the touristic sector, breakfast included but too repetitive, no variety during entire stay.
Noisy, old facilities needs a good renovation, the bathroom is totally unpractical, the water leaks everywhere during a shower, the bath tub’s “doors” are a joke. Pricing does not reflect the low quality

Great central location, less than 100m from a tram stop (3 stops from Central Station). Short walk from key sights. Busy square but no noise in hotel room. Great breakfast choices and nice hotel bar with outside tables. A great idea was that the hotel issued bar drinks vouchers in exchange for opting out of room cleaning and fresh towels - which weren't necessary on a 2-day stay
Room was a bit cramped - especially the WC, which was squeezed in between a wall and the shower. Position of toilet-roll holder meant it was almost impossible to sit down/stand up from the toilet without bruising your thigh on the holder. Room had a coffee maker but no kettle.

The location was great, plenty of restaurants and sights to see! We stayed during Kings Day, so it was quite lively! Tram stop directly across the street. We walked all over as there are plenty of shops!

Centrally located in Rembrandt square and everything was in walking distance. We had to be moved to the NH Amsterdam Caransa across the square due to a AC water leak. The Staff was very understanding and accommodating in meeting our needs.
Since this was a historical building the rooms seemed to be somewhat small.
