Although the hotel is located at the opposite shore from the AMS central station (you need to take shuttle and ferry to back to the Central station), it is much more convenient than I expected. The hotel shuttle service is superb, very quick and bascically do not need to wait for long.
We feel little bit cold first time despite setting the warmest mode of the heating, it is quite late already and hotel staff react quickly and give us a very warm blanket and a portable heater. Really appreciate his effort!

The hotel breakfast was great and very quiet which was nice. Lovely bathroom with heated towels in the morning. Ideal for a one night stay for work.
My room was on a floor with a lot of construction or painting going on, and it would have been helpful to have had this explained as I wasn't expecting to see that as I came out of the lift. Just more communication about that would have been nice.

Large spacious and light room. Was on the top floor with a great view.
Bed very ample and comfortable. Bathroom good with nice hot shower.
Location is more suitable for cars or coaches but the walk from the Metro Station wasn't too bad - it didn't rain. There is also a free shuttle to the train station ferry.
The room was cold and I couldn't find an obvious way to turn up the heating.
The default TV stations are Spanish (!) and it wasn't straightforward to find alternatives (like the main Dutch ones) and the signal kept on changing from good to bad whilst watching a programme.

Very modern and clean with loads of space - huge room with nice view of canal. Staff were lovely.
Nothing, the location might seem poor but actually with the shuttle running so often we felt it was ideal - straight to the ferry kiss and ride and easy free trip over to Amsterdam Central. Only a small walk or tram ride to loads of interesting sites.
