Buffet breakfast was plentiful and varied but too much for me (70 years of age) and would have liked the option of a simple breakfast at lower price. The do it yourself cold food was adequate but expensive. No fresh fruit although later I discovered some apples and oranges at the front desk. The do it yourself green option for coffee and food took some getting used to. I recommend a tray is left for disposing of dirty silverware an napkins. Staff very helpful in explaining things. I prefer to pay cash for small items and not hitting my credit card each time for a cup of coffee.
The bathtub was slippery and the "striped" were smooth and not rough so easy to fall. I had to put a towel on the floor of the tup to make sure I would not slip. The front desk by phone told me there would be a shuttle to take me to Schiphol airport. Upon arrival I was told that was not true (only NH Noord has that option). I had to pay 50 euro for cab to airport with my heavy suitcase.

We loved that all the staff was very helpful and kind. The room was big and comfortable, breakfast was sufficient. Location is perfect very close to public transportation and museums.

Great location, nice beds, clean, good price.
Had to wait to get fresh towels delivered to the room on the last day due to a shortage. Housekeeping could be more attentive as hand soap and shower gel werent restocked.

Staff inadequate and overworked. Eg. couldnt get creamer for tea/ coffee for 16 hours inspite of repeated visits to the front desk.
