We arrived earlier than usual and they did whatever they could to get us a room, and then they were kind enough to let us check out a little later. Very hospitable.
Everything was excellent, except I'd say the breakfast staff was not as professional as the front staff, or as friendly.

Very nice breakfast; rooms with a view of the canals and the city; helpful staff; early check in as rooms were available - nice bonus. Location close to museums - easy walking. Nice bonus that if you didn't have your room cleaned everyday, you got a voucher for the snack shop. snacks available all the time - cute little snack shop

We had a corner suite with an incredible view of the canal and could watch the sun come up each morning. Since we were there for a week, we appreciated the extra room and ability to relax in the sitting area and take in the city lights in the evenings. The room was very quiet and the staff couldn’t have been nicer. It was great to be so close to the main museums and the center of town but out of the main tourist area.
The bed was a little firm for our liking. But better than being too soft.

shower was to die for!! amazing shower and totally reenergized us after a long flight. rooms are modern, big and well equipped/ beds were super comfy and all the necessities were of top quality.

Be able to see New Year Eve’s fireworks in front of the room windows, which is awesome! Also it’s quite convenient to go to the two museums and the Concertgebouw.

Great location, close to the museum district, easy walk into the heart of Amsterdam, quiet location, wonderful neighborhood with great restaurants and bars nearby. Enjoyed drinks for sale in the lobby. Great style.

Room was large enough for two with space to store our luggage and shoes and coats. Breakfast was both buffet or a la carte which provided a great assortment to start our day. While it was a touch far from the very center of the city, it was close to the museums and lots of eateries for dinner.
There could be more overhead lighting.

The deluxe room with a canal view was wonderful. The location too - we've been all over Amsterdam but we enjoyed the museum district a lot, just far enough from the noisy tourists.
Nothing really - if I have to nit-pick, the elevator going to -1, the fitness room, is annoying because of its algorithm for how it decides which floor to go to first.
