Location, location, location! Avani Museum Quarter is brilliantly located - a quick walk from both Museumplein and the Albert Cuyp Market. In addition, the room I was in was a large room, very well appointed, super comfortable, with a lovely view of the canal. Oh and the breakfast was superb!

The location of the hotel is excellent. The Rijkmuseum and the Van Gogh Museum are just within a.stones throw away from this hotel. Super easy to reach from the Metro line from Zuid station, the rooms facing the canal gave us a nice vibe to our short stay in Amsterdam. The rooms with the ensuite are nicely presented and facilities are modern.

it was a really nice place to stay on. from the moment you stepped in to the hotel, the fragrance in the lobby welcomes you. staff was friendly in welcoming my wife and i to the hotel. the room was very clean and the size was good! we love the bathroom, although some water does get to the area outside the shower area. housekeeping was good. location of the hotel was also good - a short walk from the station and near many eateries, and also a convenience store. will definitely stay here again if we come back to amsterdam!

The deluxe room with a canal view was wonderful. The location too - we've been all over Amsterdam but we enjoyed the museum district a lot, just far enough from the noisy tourists.
Nothing really - if I have to nit-pick, the elevator going to -1, the fitness room, is annoying because of its algorithm for how it decides which floor to go to first.

Nice location. Super friendly staff. Nice design and spacious rooms. We were chosen by Lulu, the reception / FO supervisory, to be the “guest of the day” and received a very nice, generous upgrade. Thank you Lulu. Woah we could have spent more than one night there. Will choose the hotel again upon returning.

Close to lots of restaurants, metro & museums. Superior room was a good size with a view of the canal. Excellent breakfast. Bar & snack service was by an honesty system. If you decide not to have room service, you get a drinks voucher which was good system.
Needs to have a more thorough cleaning in the shower recess getting hair out of the drains.
