Appreciated the warm welcome and unexpected upgrade. The room had a great canal view and was very spacious. Public areas were beautiful and smelt lovely

Spacious room. Useful extra items in room, which is a nice touch. Good breakfast. Good location in museum quarter & easy to reach central area.
I chose room overlooking canal. The road between hotel & canal is busy. Needed to use earplugs as I am a light sleeper. Didn’t spoil my stay though. Not the cheapest, but ticked all other boxes for me on a 2.5 day visit to the city.

We love everything about this hotel - the deco, the comfort, cleanliness, locations, facilities and the staff. Thank you our check-in staff and Jens for the scrumptious cake slices and birthday greetings, really appreciate it! The staff here gave their 110% to make our stay perfect, EVERYONE was so helpful and approachable. Really really glad we booked here

Excellent location, superb view!, comfy bed. We also liked the small shop with snacks and coffee downstairs, albeit a touch expensive.
Shower that splashed all over the bathroom as the glass only covers half of it, the indicator was wrong so you’d always switch on the wrong type of shower.

We were in Amsterdam for my Mums 85th birthday. I didn't make any specific requests apart from twin beds for my sister and I but they rose to the occasion and left fizz and a delicious chocolate cake in mums room and were friendly, helpful and accommodating all the way through. The breakfast buffet was quite marvellous, have seen some good ones in my time but this was just amazing. The hotel and the rooms were spacious as well which can be hard to find in a place like Amsterdam.

Amazingly well located. Can walk to the centre but the area de pjip was very good for coffee, shops and restaurants. It was my boyfriend’s birthday and they left him a note and a chocolate treat too. A lovely touch.
