Exceptional
The hotel is very well located, the rooms are quite comfortable and clean. There's a very interesting incentive program: if you don't want your room cleaned, the hotel gives you a complimentary drink at the bar. We found this very thoughtful and a valuable way to put sustainability into practice while also pleasing the guest! Breakfast was excellent, delicious! Attentive and helpful staff.

Overall, it's a good hotel in a historical building. Very good location. Clean and nice atmosphere in the hotel
Heating system was quite inadequate. We were cold in the room at night. The radiators were turned off at night, and the air conditioner only blew cool air.

I had such a wonderful stay! Everything about the hotel was absolutely amazing , from the beautiful atmosphere to the comfort and cleanliness. The staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always smiling, which made the experience even more special. Truly felt like home. I would 100% come back again ❤️
One small thing I didn’t enjoy was that the hotel menu was very limited, and sometimes the restaurant was closed or not accepting orders, even though the website mentioned it’s should be open this time . Also, after finishing my meals, I prefer having the plates cleared, but I was told this service isn’t available, so the dishes stay until the next day or need to be placed outside the door.

The room for Europe was a reasonably good size with a queen size bed (we asked for) and had a view of the canal. The shower was great, big head and powerful. The breakfast was included with our room and excellent, large choice hot and cold cuts, and served during the week till 10:30am on weekend later. Other hotels we have been to was 9:30. We love the location, very central (across from Leidsche Plein). We have stayed here before but used to eat breakfast out as not included and expensive, but NH has now made staying here more reasonable. We will stay here again on our next return trip via Amsterdam. Don G.

Location is near the museums and Vondelpark, and the whole area was very pretty during Christmas with plenty of lights and decorations and the loveliest Christmas Markets. The staff of the hotel were extremely courteous and helpful in every way, and even the fresh fruits and candy in the lobby is an additional touch. However, my very special thank you goes to Yassin, the manager at the Reception, who upgraded us to a junior suite on the top floor after we complained about the type of bed and the location of the room allocated to us at check-in. The view was beautiful and the amenities were great. His kindness and hospitality made all the difference and our stay was memorable at the NH Amsterdam Leidseplein. We will definitely stay at the same hotel on our next visit to Amsterdam.
