The front desk staff was extremely helpful with specific advice about local services and reservations. They were able to accommodate our request for early check-in. The location is excellent, especially if you're using the trams to get around town.

spacious rooms, clean bed.
The shower is open and it's impossible not to make a mess with the water. The staff doesn't refill shampoo and shower gel. They also don't refill drinkable water at all. The air conditioning doesn't work, it blows air but never cools down to cause temperature to drop at all. Overall I think they pretend to be a high end hotel but they are not there at all.

This was a very convenient hotel to stay at. Transportation connections were easy. Most city destinations also within walking distance.
Inital bed arrangement was less than satisfactory as one side of the bed was up against the wall making it difficult to get into. We had to move the bed away from the wall.

The room was nice and spacious, including the bathroom, although the positioning of the makeup mirror left little room for adjustment. I didn't bother with makeup, so it didn't bother me. I liked the breakfast options. I especially liked the little caramels with nuts and white chocolate that they offered as an afternoon snack. The location was excellent, near shopping, souvenir shopping, restaurants, and the sights we wanted to see. There was a walking trail nearby for exercise.
I couldn't get the room warm enough, although I understand your being a green hotel, so in the end I just closed the airconditioning. The air was a little stuffy, but I didn't want to open a window since it was cold outside. I woke up with a heavy head, and I can't tell if it was the pillows or (more likely) the stuffy air. But once I was out and about, my head cleared up. :) To be fair, they did allow the temperature to go as high as 24C. I just like it really, really, really warm.

the location is amazing we practically walked everywhere. the staff were friendly and smiling. the room was not small compared to the hotel we had in paris :)
the loby/corridor going to the elevator had a very un pleasant smell to it. the bathrooms were a little on the older side nd the carpets in the hotel could be changed

This is a fantastic location. So close to all types of dining from high end to patio dining to Burger King! Walking distance to museums & entertainment but also quiet in our room.
Some construction currently beside the hotel but didn’t really bother us.

Staff were wonderful, room was big and well appointed, bed was extremely comfortable. Perfectly located for exploring Amsterdam, lots in the nearby areas and quick access to all major attractions. Would stay here again if I travel to Amsterdam in the future.
The lighting in the bathroom was truly terrible, which was surprising for such an otherwise nice hotel at this price point. Layout of the bathroom was also a little weird. The room appeared to have been recently updated and was beautiful, but the bathroom not so much.
