The price was quite good and the staff was very friendly. I would consider this hotel again in the future.
Despite what I expected, the hotel restaurant/bar is not open. The cleaning staff did not "clean" and instead only replaced towels and made the bed. Also not ideal that the closest tram stop is ~800m from the entrance.

Property location was just right for my needs in quiet area ... otherwise it is a little bit further from the city centre but the public transport is just a few minutes walk away. The public transport tickets you are able to purchase at hotel reception. Receptionists were friendly and happy to help. Coffee and fresh loaf of bread was good, but the rest of the breakfast was just ok. Room was clean and comfortable

- They made up the room every day, changed the towels and set new toiletries - Location was good, a tram and bus stops were 10-15 mins walk away
- Wi-Fi almost didnt work - AC didnt work at all - Windows didnt open - The room was not clean, there is dust and dirty angles - A hairdryer was really bad (even for a budget hotel), it burnt hairs and skin - No kettle, no fridge. They gave a cup of hot water for free at the reception but it was really inconvenient to bring this hot cup from the first floor to the fifth floor. - They refused to warm up the food although they have a microwave I understand that it is a budget hotel for Amsterdam, but it can be helpful to know all these negative details in advance to make a decision about booking the hotel

Disappointing
Reception staff are friendly. The area around the hotel is relatively quiet.
Uncomfortable beds, huge uncomfortable pillows. The room lacked tea making facilities, which was a big disappointment. The drinks vending machine is not a good substitute, as it there is a single one, which does not accept cards and is located next to the reception. The bath lacked a plug. The shower over bath was in an inconvenient place and getting in and out over the bath felt dangerous.. Towels were worn out. My request to set the beds double + 2 singles was not honoured.
