Location is amazing as you’re right in the heart of Jordaan. Very convenient to be close to De Wallen without the noise and also very walkable to Westerpark. There is free coffee in the lobby which is a plus and the lobby is very cozy
Minor detail but because this is a canal hotel, space is obviously limited. I would like to have more counter space in the bathroom and potentially a shower door to keep the water in.

The place has a personal touch. Free hot drinks all day long. Gave a bag of snacks for the way when leaving which was pretty cute.

We have been going to Mr Jordaan every stay in Amsterdam since 2021. It is a welcoming place, but the rooms could use a bit of renovating.

Beautiful building in a fantastic neighbourhood with nice staff. They give you a giant bag of candy when you check out.
Slow elevator was the one and only thing that was not fantastic.

Location was fantastic - right in the heart of where I wanted to be. I was able to walk to all my sights from the hotel, and the street itself is beautiful. Staff were very friendly. Room itself was nice, and very clean.
It was quite noisy in the mornings. I heard it depends on which room you have, and my room was on the front street in the corridor where every guess walks down when they use the stairs, so from the early morning I could hear people talking as they went to breakfast and deliveries being delivered. Definitely couldn’t sleep in while I was here. I would like to stay here again but I’d request a room with less noise traffic.
