The hotel is close enough to the train station you can walk, but far enough from the city center it's silent. Tram station 5 minutes away. Good gym and excellent breakfast.
Everyday the price of the room is the same; therefore, the room service should be thorough, leaving the room as if a new guest were coming—not a quick cleaning.

The style of the hotel was very nice. We upgraded our room to a junior suite which was perfect for our guests joining joining us for drinks at the end of the night. We were celebrating a 50th birthday when we were there and to the hotel provided a birthday package on arrival with balloons and chocolate in the room and then also gave us a glass of champagne with our breakfast. The bed was very comfortable and we had everything in our room that we needed. We asked the housekeepers for more tea and coffee and was allowed more which was fantastic. Breakfast was amazing a very big selection of food with lots of healthy options.
The hotel itself is a little way out of the centre about 20 minutes walk from the main train station. To look out from the outside the hotel doesn’t look very nice, but this is different once you get inside. One thing that we were not very impressed with was the bar area downstairs as we arrived back one evening at 10:30 and decided to get a drink and we were told that they were closing down the bar and the bar closed at 11 o’clock this meant that we could only get a bottled beer or a spirit and the choices that we wanted they had run out of so we only ended up spending probably five minutes in the bar area and then we moved out to the lobby.

My family and I visited Amsterdam for the first time via the p&o ferry and this hotel was located right next to the drop off point. The hotel is located close to central station so close to using public transport (very easy to use) too. The full hotel was exceptionally beautiful and beautifully decorated for Christmas which made our stay all the more better. The staff were fantastic and allowed us to store our belongings as we were early for check in. Once we come back to check in the staff were friendly, accommodating and overall fantastic (thank you!) we were met with profiteroles on arrival whilst we checked in. Once up to the room the room was incredible with beautiful views of the city and waters. The room was equipped with coffee machine, kettle, hangers, iron, ironing board, hair dryer, fresh soft towels- everything to make the stay incredibly accommodating. My 6 year old daughter especially loved the heated tiles in the bathroom for when she got out of the shower. Fantastic service overall!

Nice room with a view. excellent location from being close to the center and walkable.
The hotel is situated on a side street and next to the Cruise Terminal Port which means there are Taxi drivers (private) waiting to get rides. There seems to be some un-written agreement with Uber drivers to not serve the hotel. Going to the Airport on Uber was a Euro 37 fare. No Uber drivers were willing to take the ride, even though it was a reasonable time on Mon morning at 7:30 AM. Cost to airport with Taxi: Euro 100.
