I booked for a convention at the RAI, and worried I was overpaying due to the event. We were pleasantly surprised that it was very comfortable, very clean, with great beds and showers. Not sure why its called a motel!
The food options were limited, breakfast was only cold cuts and oatmeal, and the bar/restaurant options were primarily toasties and other snacks. This wasn't a huge issue, as several food options are nearby, but the morning we used the breakfast bar it didn't feel like a great value relative to the standard "hotel breakfast buffet" you might hope for.

Close by to RAI only reason to stay here to attend some conference, convention at RAI, will continue stay in other locations whenever I'm in Amsterdam
Lost/stole confirmed shipments to hotel and denied any reimbursement even though logistics company proved it was received by the hotel

The room and property were lovely. The staff was kind and available. The cost for breakfast, and coffee w/o breakfast was higher than expected. Otherwise nice stay.

The hotel offered exactly what we needed -> very close to the convention venue, close to the train station, cozy rooms, comfortable bathroom, nice launge etc. We were a bit afraid of the lack of AC in the rooms but that was not the problem in the end -> the temperature was okay (a bit too cold at times but that can be solved with a sweater). Overall I would recommend this hotel for anyone that wants to be lose to the convention centre and values convenience.
The breakfast was a little dissapointing due to the lack of any warm dishes to offer. The selection was overall good but I would love to be able to eat something warm in the morning (like scrambled eggs, pancakes etc.). One day the housekeeping took my dirty pillowcase and forgot to give a fresh one -> also small detail.

Rooms were a good size. A little out of the centre but very easy to access Metro and tram about 5-6min walk, and Amsterdam Zuid train station

Enjoyed everything about Motel one Amsterdam. It was a good price, room was clean, bed was comfortable. Staff was friendly and efficient. Location was very close to metro which made it easy to get downtown.

The room was decent. The breakfast was good - I really enjoyed the overnight oats and fruit as well as the hard boiled eggs. It was nice that there were several coffee stations at breakfast where you could get a quick latte or beverage of choice.
I almost cancelled this hotel when I realized they didn’t have safes in the rooms. Then I noticed that they had recently added safes to the list of room amenities, so I kept the booking. However, the safe in the room wasn’t usable during my stay. First of all it was locked and the staff had to come and open it for me. I then had to request the staff to come to the room again because there was an error message They couldn’t get it to work. It was late in the evening and they indicated that they would send maintenance the next day to fix it, but that never happened. I gave up at that point as I was at a conference long days and unfortunately didn’t have time to keep coordinating staff to come and fix it. It would be nice if they could get these working. I was in a different room initially, but the safe in that room also didn’t work.

Location was great. Breakfast was very good and service was friendly. We appreciated the delivery of iron and board.
It would have been nice to have standard coffee/tea in the room but the space was tight so understandable.

Breakfast was simple but good.

Location wise very good
Staff not helpfull. Made me park in a public parking instead of their own, lie that there was no room while there was. Bar open till 1 am according to their site but you can't have all drinks after 11 pm.
The room was very cold because airco was on at 15° when we entered.

The room was very comfortable. The hotel location was not what we expected, but we got used to the rail system. Unfortunately we did not take in the breakfast as we found a grocery store nearby and bought fresh croissants for way less.
A complimentary continental breakfast would have made our stay perfect.

Liked decor, very modern. Close walking distance from metro. Not much in the way of restaurants near by. Stored our luggage for a few hours.
Too pricey for a small room, small bed, very crowded breakfast. Couldn’t figure out how to get tv to work. No laundry service.
