Location, staff, sitting areas, quiet rooms
Bed was old & lumpy - AWFUL topper with a (unused) heating element. Friends had a room with a smooth bed, ours was awful.
Also, A/C sub par, never cooled down much (it hadva hard stop lower limit & it was cool/rainy outside. Windows only opened up about 6" at the top, so no good for circulation, can't imagine staying in truly hot weather. I run warm and this place didn't work for me.

Understated chic, wonderful location, superb quality, hospitable and caring staff with attention to detail. Shout out to hotel manager, Will, who is an impeccable ambassador for Hotel Monet Garden and takes great pride and care in his job. Don’t miss out on the fantastic breakfast buffet, and be sure to use the shower in your room: pure luxury. Amsterdam stays are a bit pricey compared to some other places in Europe, but this place feels special without the opulence and price tag of a Four Seasons. Highly recommend.
I loved it! They even provide a stand full of high quality umbrellas at the inside entrance for guests to use in case it rains. It’s just an elegant and peaceful place, also with lovely a lobby where it’s great to hang out, and a bar for a cocktail.

The Monet Garden is a lovely hotel, friendly helpful staff. Great location, near the trains, quiet hotel, comfortable beds, fridge in the rooms, comp water bottles, we had a canal view. Some really good eateries around the corner, we especially liked Tony’s NY City bagels and Moak Pancakes .

The room was very comfortable and the hotel location was great. Easy to walk to everything but in a quieter location. The staff was exceptionally responsive and we were able to store our luggage both before check in and after checking out.

Clean, and in a good walkable location on the east side of Amsterdam. The staff and service was exceptional. Unfortunately my mom unexpectedly fell ill during the trip and the staff were very accommodating, and helped to make her comfortable as much as possible with tea & extra pillows etc. Room was comfortable, and in particular having AC was much appreciated especially since our stay was during an unexpected 30C+ heatwave!
Full buffet breakfast at EUR25 pp seems a little steep

The staff was very nice and the main part of our room was clean. We also liked that the hotel was located a bit away from the busy streets of the city central.
There were a couple of things about the bathroom that were not good: 1) under the sink was not swept out well; 2) the cleaning solution used left a really unpleasant smell; 3) the door automatically stayed closed, so it could not be aired out easily.

The breakfast was very good! Lots of options! I loved when we first arrived to check in there was chairs for us to sit down at the reception desk. Plus they offered us a cold beverage! Sparkling Wine or non-alcoholic options too!

Welcoming helpful staff, welcome drink, beautiful hotel and room. Great bathroom with big shower and anti fog mirror. Free water bottles replenished daily in fridge. TV showed World Cup games. Lovely canal view. Location close to good restaurants and some attractions. And nice goodbye gift at checkout. Very friendly staff.
Not close to old town but a 15 minute walk. Air conditioning good but not great. Fitness center and breakfast fair but not wonderful.

The rooms were comfortable and clean. The staff were excellent. The location is what we were looking for, close to central station and in a quieter part of town.
The price was a bit much, but it was inline with the city comps.
