Rare find today - a small (6 room) family owned bed and breakfast. The decor was fabulous and my room was very comfortable and spacious (for Amsterdam!) The breakfast was made to order and very generous. The cocktail bar team was also so helpful and friendly. I will definitely stay here again.
The location is at the very edge of the red light district, so I just walked different routes to avoid some of that. Nothing to do with the hotel itself, and they were very helpful in every way.

Large canal side room on the first floor over a charming bar where we had a drink or two each night. Breakfast was excellent and the staff were very helpful and friendly. Would stay here again.
Room is a bit dated but is clean and large - not complaining, but just do not expect perfection!

The staff, the staff, the owners. Great location, cool vibes, great breakfast - just what you need to start your day and very fresh, creative fun cocktails and great guys serving and mixing the cocktails.
Some of the decor in the room could be updated, freshly painted and/or cleaned up a little.

The breakfast was excellent. Locally sourced food and good service. The location is ideal for exploring Amsterdam. The room was quiet, comfortable and very tastefully decorated. The owners and staff could not have been more helpful and friendly. We were informed by other catering and distillery staff that it serves the best cocktails and has the nicest atmosphere of all the cocktail bars in Amsterdam. We would certainly agree with that. We will certainly come again. Thank you for everything.

This stay was a great location and walkable to just about everything. Very close to the Red Light District (which is an interesting area), but far enough away that it's mostly quiet. We did have loud voices we heard from the streets below us on multiple occasions. The breakfasts were good and a plus. The stairs are very narrow, but they carry luggage up to your room. We were the top floor. The view was nice of the canal.
The host was not there when we arrived by taxi. We called without an answer. We wasted time waiting for him to arrive. The breakfasts need to be changed up daily instead of preparing the same breakfast every day. It gets old after 4 days of eating the same breakfast IMO. The breakfast was good though.

Great location. Not noisy. One of the owners, a lady, was very kind. She gave detailed information about the room and the hotel. The place was very clean and tastefully decorated. Breakfast was sufficient, and the ingredients were delicious and of high quality.
It was enjoyable that there was a cocktail bar downstairs. I also really liked that the minibar was free and refilled every day.
Be careful with steep stairs. It would have been perfect if the shower was a bit more spacious and the water pressure a little stronger. But my rating is still 10 :)

The location was excellent—very close to the main attractions, which made it easy to explore and enjoy Amsterdam. The room was decent—not outstanding, but clean and comfortable enough for a good stay.
Unfortunately, the staff were quite rude and unprofessional, and I experienced behavior that felt biased and discriminatory. Additionally, at check-in, the receptionist insisted that breakfast wasn’t included, even though it was clearly stated in my Booking.com reservation. I had to show proof myself, which was frustrating and unwelcoming.

Location is amazing. In the heart of everything. Delicious breakfast included that is served, every morning. Staff was mostly friendly. Rooms were clean and well stocked with everything you could need. Including drinks and snacks that are included.
Steps. We knew there were steps and no elevator, but the steps were very narrow and winding. Also the staff promised to bring down luggage and that didn’t happen. No one brought down our luggage and we had to do that ourselves at 6 am to leave for the airport.

Location was perfect. Walk to everything. Such a unique and different place to stay. 6 rooms total. 2 on each floor located above a very cute and cozy bar based on a type of speak easy.
If you are noise sensitive then wear earplugs. They have a nose machine also. I liked hearing the laughter and party life.
