The rooms were just as in the photos, beautiful, modern, quiet. And the whole hotel is beautiful with a very nice modern comfortable lounge when you come in, with a terrace in the back and overall 10/10 facilities wise. From the rooms being super modern, the whole hotel has super high end details like the shower and toilet is all in stone, and marble countertops. Room was bigger than expected. The staff were so kind, extra friendly and welcoming. That is hard to see these days and it shows they really like what they do. The hotel breakfast was 100% worth the money and so good and varied. We also ended up ordering a pizza for one of the nights and it was one of the best pizzas I ate, that was really surprising and everything about the hotel was amazing. The gym facilities are a short 2 min walk but also worth walking for! Brand new and so good for a hotel gym.

Literally everything is very good, the room is very beautiful and clean, bed is comfortable, and location also super nice. Close to train, tram, bus. there are two super market nearby, so we can buy things easily.

The hotel exceeded all of our expectations with close links into the city centre and the airport.
The hotel was comfortable and was everything we needed for our short stay in Amsterdam!

The staff were excellent- very polite / helpful / attentive - they really looked after us- we could not have asked for better - I would be very happy to book with them again.
The Hotel was absolutely spotless - and it had a lovely relaxed feel about it.
Breakfast was good.
The Hotel is located about 10-15 minutes outside the centre which isn’t a problem as the transport system is very close and quick into the city but sometimes after a busy day - you could wish that it was closer.
Having said that - a hotel in the centre would have its own drawbacks and probably would not feel as relaxed.
I would definitely stay at the Met Hotel again on a return visit.

10 to 20 minutes walking distance to metro and train stations, and bus stop. Staff are friendly.
May not be an issue to some, but be aware that the location is in kind of residential area, not a business, commercial or tourist area.

Very nice rooms, comfortable beds. Quiet location and nice (short) walk to the station along the canal. Excellent transport connections - about 15 mins on train to Schiphol and 20-30 minutes into city on metro/ tram.
Not much around local area, and only pizza at the hotel in the evening. Couldn’t stream Netflix or Apple TV to room tv.
