Nothing really
The front desk kept me waiting for two hours claiming that the room was not ready, but it was a shared dorm that I had paid by mistake for around 70 euro per bed. I had filtered hostels and did not expect a dorm that expensive in a hotel. They asked me for 120 euro extra to upgrade to a basic room which was a rip off for a basic hotel. They did not offer refund although I returned the key to them immediately. I would not trust this place

Helpful and friendly staff. Great location near the train station and Flixbus station. Everyone spoke English.
It was fine for 1 night. We were out of body wash.. completely empty.. so I had to go down to front desk amidst hundreds of high school students staying there and hanging in lobby.
The front desk staff was helpful.

Good hotel close to the metro station, liked the gaming section for the kids to entertain at reception
Very busy due to school holidays, room view was on the back parking and the metro line ( couldnt sleep at all)

The staff was friendly, the location was fine - around the corner from Sloterdijk train station. Cleanliness in the room was okay.
The beds were a bit too hard for our liking. The walls between the rooms were paperthin. You could hear everything from next door, even the smallest of noises. We had neighbours who were very inconsiderate when it came to being quiet after 10 pm. So sleeping was difficult.
Breakfast wasn't really good and definitely not worth its price. Very chaotic, not the best selection and dirty (food on the floor at all times, sticky tables etc). Long queues were annoying.
Overall, more of a hostel vibe for school trips. I wouldn't stay here again.

The staff were friendly and the place was clean. Also, a very good location for travelling into central Amsterdam.
The single rooms are tiny. They are smaller than student accomodation. It is very expensive for what you get. The size of the rooms was not clear at all from the photos either.
I also had the unfortunate experience of being next door to a horrendously loud group who were up shouting and playing music into the early morning.

Location is excellent, right beside the train station which is incredibly handy. I stayed with my two nieces and sister and it was a large room, clean and comfortable. Lively downstairs area with a bar and small shop.
Long check in process. I was contacted about doing it online but it came with a phishing warning underneath so was wary. One abrupt employee with shoulder length blonde hair who should be more mindful of her manner dealing with customers. I was speaking with her colleague at 2:35pm and asked the time the room would be available. She rudely interrupted and pointed to the sign saying “You see the sign? Room ready at 3”. In hindsight I should have addressed it with her at the time as I didn’t like her tone or manner speaking with me. She undermined her colleague and was rude. The rest of the staff were lovely.
Bathroom needs work. Towel handle is broken in room 620 so it’s decorative as opposed to functional. Toilet needs amending. It begins to refill and never stops unless the button is touched again or re flushed. Can be frustrating.

Good location since it was next to the train station.
I had to pay extra money when I arrived at the hotel because they told me the municipality increased taxes, and for some reason, i had to pay for this. We were 3 adults in the room , yet 1 bed was for children. The underbed sheets were full of dust, and one of the beds had no sheets at all. I had to personally go to the reception and ask for a pair. Moreover , if you want your room to be cleaned, you have to request it one day in advance. I have been to way better hotels in Amsterdam at the same price range. Therefore, I do not recommend this one
