The hotel has a communal kitchen and has a water dispenser; it's a child friendly accommodation and has games room/arcade; a minute away from bus station, train & tram station; within close proximity to fastfood chains & coffee shop.
I booked a quadruple room but I find it small for 4 people even though there was only 3 of us, the bathroom is wheelchair user friendly so there was no countertop to place toiletries on, however, I find it strange that the room is not spacious for a wheelchair user. The tv has only one programme available. The hotel charges you for leaving your luggage which is a very first for me because even hostels let you leave your luggage for free. The pillows need replacement, they're not fluffy anymore

The property was really really nice, the location is right next to the tram and metro station. Staff is very nice and helpful.
The hotel facilities are very nice and room was very clean.

The breakfast was value for money and began early, which was good. The Kitchen was small but useful. The longe area did not have enough sockets for laptops or phones. The lifts were fast, and the staff was good and helpful. The internet was speedy and smooth.
As mentioned above, there were fewer sockets and a better seating arrangement for a work area would help immensely.
The worse part was the dormitory and can't be attributed to the hotel but nevertheless it was a bummer. In a six bed dormitory - guests who were there probably for the Amsterdam dance festival completely scremed my sleep by talking loudly with lights on at night. the timings would be from about 10:00 pm to about 1;00 and or even 3:00 am. I would avoid booking such hotels in the future if room guests strew their luggage all over floor, smoke weed, hear phone videos without earplugs and generally make a mess. Luckily that was the only problematic part. I do not know how the hotel can address this but possibly look to screenout visitors who have bad reviews. The fun part of the dorm was striking a conversation with a fellow indian now settled in Netherlands. So this caution is for those who want a good nights sleep but I think it might be unfair to blame the property for this.

Wonderful location and cleanliness! Just one small thing, had to pay a city tax on booking.com website and once more in person. When asked about this discrepancy, the staff did not explain and told me to read it myself at the side and then pay when I have confirmed it myself. I ended up paying the city tax twice.

The location is great, it is situated right outside the Amstel station. The rooms were clean and had all the facilities you would need. There are vending machine downstairs for you midnight cravings.
The staff were super polite and very helpful, they suggested places to eat and things to be careful of while travelling in Amsterdam.

Great location (not central but 1 min walk from Amstel station which is super easy to use with metro, train and bus)
Great facilities - I used the kitchen alot and used the laundry machines.
Comfortable beds, each bed has a large locker which was useful.
The staff was helpful and friendly.
Kitchen needs more tools.
Laundry and drying machines are a bit smelly.

This hostel has hotel standard amenities. Everything is above par. Staff, especially Alberto, was the epitome of what workers in the hospitality industry should be: kind, friendly, helpful and welcoming. He made sure I got the service I deserved. If all hotel staff could be as good as Alberto, no guest would ever feel unwelcome. Location is super. Very accessible to public transport (trams, metro and buses). There’s a well equipped grocery just across the street. Highly recommended place to stay in Amsterdam. I’ll definitely stay there again. ❤️.

I liked attitude of staff and location
The inconveniences and cost associated with check in times, luggage lockers.
There are no lockers and safe in rooms. Overall, this was the only place I didn't like throughout my stay in this Europe trip.

The hotel sent us an email the day before our arrival explaining that there was a flood which resulted in power failure and thus cancelled our reservation.
I tried contacting them asking for support in finding alternate hotel but no one responded.
