Wonderful
Breakfast was very good.
The room we stayed in was small, and the bed was up above the sitting area. The bathroom was clean and there is a nice shower. It worked well for us, we don’t spend much time inside, and the bed was comfortable. Overall it worked fine.
The area is quiet, much less busy than downtown Amsterdam. The restaurants were good.

The best aspects of this place are the following: Location - not too far away from the city center and in front of a tram line, therefore moving around is no issue; Comfort - the room was nice and spacious and the bed really comfortable; Host - André is such a nice person to talk to and prepares an amazing breakfast, could not have asked for better.
We were very lucky with the weather, but it was certainly too hot for the house which did not have AC, only a fan which only helped somewhat. By having to open the windows at night to help cool the room off, mosquitoes showed up, which we handled fine, but did not aid in the experience. Honestly this heat is not normal for the place, therefore the majority of guests will most likely not go through this. Still a VERY GOOD place which I would go to again.

Awesome host, friendly, amenable and good conversationalist. Fairly diverse breakfast. Pretty good location, less than half an hour by tram from the tourist center. Several good restaurants nearby.

Andre was an excellent host and nothing was too much trouble. Short Tram ride in to the centre and trams every 10 mins. Location is a quiet residential area so nice and peaceful. Would definitely recommend

Everything! This was a fantastic place to stay. The rooms were clean and appealing, including the bathrooms. The house is in a residential environment and very quiet. The owner prepared a wonderful breakfast for us early in the morning. He was very friendly and helpful with any questions we had. The nearest tram station that will take you into the center of Amsterdam is a 2-minute walk away. And across from the station is an exceptional Italian restaurant. Also in walking distance is a marina with lovely eateries.
There was nothing to not like.
If you are a traveler with a walking disability you may want to contact the owner beforehand. Houses in Amsterdam can be challenging because of narrow and steep stairwells. We managed despite this and were able to park the walker at the entry-level!
Also, don't be surprised if your Uber driver does not find the location immediately. They need a little more guidance from our Google app. But hey, that tells you how quiet the place is.

Very comfortable, clean accomodation, located in a very nice and calm quarter, but also close to the city center (the journey by tram 26 is so quick). Very friendly staff and amazing breakfast. I highly recommend this bnb.
