Received comp breakfast because of issue with the maid service in room. Breakfast was average not much variety for Americans but for Europeans May be fine.
I didn't like the fact that we were given roll away beds. I understand for an extra person in the room but the primary bed was a roll away bed as well. As much as it cost to stay at a hotel with that rating was extremely disappointed to sleep on a cot bed . A metal cot bed with a thin mattress to make it even worse. I will add pics if available to show receipts of what I'm saying. Bathroom had consistent smell of mildew and shower leaked on the floor because whoever installed shower did not build a lip to keep water from exiting shower from the floor. Room much smaller than expected for the price, I really feel I deserve a refund of some of my money . There was a blood stain and some other stain on the top comforter that was told to staff and they did not change it out until we actually spoke a second time to the hotel Manager and he came and verified the stain. Maid should have not put that on the bed in the first place and probably should have disposed of that comforter. On top of having roll away beds they put stained comforters on the bed . Great service.

Wonderful
The 4-person room was perfect for our family with two small kids. Room was small but cozy. Beds were comfortable. Having AC and a mini fridge was a great plus. The staff was super friendly. Location is also great, as it is a short walk to Vondelpark. We loved this hotel and would stay here again.

The location was excellent and the staff were helpful and friendly.
Our room was located along the street just above the entrance to the hotel. There was a bench at the entrance where people congregated to smoke and have conversions at all hours of the night. We got very little sleep because of this.

Close to tram routes to Amsterdam Central station , restaurants and the Rijks and Van Gogh museums.
The room was very small and had a peculiar smell, which was reported but did not seem to get dealt with.The carpets in the hall seemed old and in need of replacement .
The hotel needs to be refurbished .

Basic facility, silent area and hot water shower anytime.
We were allotted a room at -1 floor which did not have a lift and it was a hassle to move the luggage to the room and out during check out using the small steps.

At close proximity to tram station and has a direct bus to/ from the airport, location is very great. Affordable compared to other hotels locally.
Wifi is very stable.
Breakfast was great.
The shower had a drainage issue, and water accumulated at the base. The water was either too hot or too cold. The tap in the bathroom sink was obstructed by the mirror, it would hit the mirror every time we tried to turn it on

Location is excellent base to explore Amsterdam if you don't want to stay near central station. Access to leidsplien makes connections easy and museum district is an easy walk
Helpful staff, modern bathrooms and amenities, rooms have air conditioner.
Bed was two separate beds pushed together. Different heights and not at all comfortable. Rooms are small, but this is typical in dutch hotels.
