Staff were friendly and helpful with providing extra amenities. Location was good - good links available to get towards the Central station/Damrak area although we walked. When we arrived there were some drinks, water and chocolates in the room which was a nice touch. breakfast was offered 'on the house' for our first morning to try it out.
We were woken up a couple of times throughout each night due to noise outside of hotel room, mainly in the street due to loud groups as the large windows weren't the best at sound proofing/ shutting completely to block the noise. Breakfast options were good/ok but we decided not to select this option for the rest our stay.

Super friendly and helpful staff. Very clean and tidy. Nice, spacious rooms and bathroom. We had a hand written note and some gifts in the room upon arrival. Fresh towels when needed, and even provided with a sewing kit as I had a suitcase emergency. Refreshments for free in the lobby every day. The concierge called us a taxi to the airport. Central location, just across the road from the city centre. Silent and very safe feeling. Bus stop right outside of the hotel, so very easy to get to from the airport. Will 100% stay here again and recommend to friends & family.

Location is great
This is not a 4-star hotel and it is heavily overpriced. Rooms are not clean, too small as well. There is not enough room to turn around. Bathroom is not modern and had weird smell. Corridors dark, stairs wooden and squeaky. Also, there is nothing in the hotel apart from reception, like no gym, no bar, no wellness. Honestly whoever gave this hotel 4 stars must be out of his/her mind.

Would be nice if the hotel had a little bar for a nightcap in the evening.

The location was excellent. 100 yards from Leidesplein, but well away from the noise and bustle.
Room was cramped for 2 people; there was only one bedside table which was just a shelf which didn't touch the wall therefore personal items fell down to the floor between the shelf and the wall. It would have been better if it had drawers. There was no bright central light so the room was very dim in the evenings.

Close to tram routes to Amsterdam Central station , restaurants and the Rijks and Van Gogh museums.
The room was very small and had a peculiar smell, which was reported but did not seem to get dealt with.The carpets in the hall seemed old and in need of replacement . The hotel needs to be refurbished .
