Clean hotel in a lovely old building and very central
Extortionate price for what it is, breakfast not included, had to opt in to get room serviced, room was tiny, water pressure fairly poor, room key card worked intermittently at night to get into the hotel, and some staff were far from welcoming imo. Not even a bottle of water in the room fridge.

The location is good. Nice bed and a comfortable pair of chairs, plus a little table to eat at.
I booked this room as it promised tea and coffee making facilities in rooms. In fact it was a coffee pod machine which made a trickle of hot water fine for coffee but rubbish for tea. I asked at reception and they had no kettle and couldn't understand why it was a problem. They offered me boiling water from the machine in the restaurant but it was very difficult to carry up in the lift. I was annoyed as I chose this hotel for this very reason. Also it was really expensive but did not have a luxury feel at all.

Been a large person the shower cubicle was not ideal every time I moved I kept bumping into water control turning the water to very hot or very cold and the door kept coming open flooding the bathroom

We booked this hotel for 1 night because our flight was cancelled. The property is in a nice neighborhood near Volden Park. The room was perfect for 3 people. It was quiet and clean. When we came in earlier than our check-in time the clerk allowed us to store our luggage at the hotel and included free breakfast, which was very nice.
When actually checking in, a different clerk told us that we have to pay a 10% city tax. After I told her that I probably already paid it via Booking.com she told me that no -- this was not included. When checking out the next day I accidentally noticed that my Booking.com bill is exactly equal to the amount on the hotel receipt. That meant that I did pay the city tax via Booking. After I pointed this out to a clerk (a different one from the day before) she admitted that a previous clerk made a mistake and refunded the tax. But, I was lucky to have caught this mistake. Also -- the hotel was very pricey, but we had no choice, since we needed something quick for 1 night due to flight cancellation.
