Check-in Ok, although if you speak Dutch be prepared to have your host switch to English every other question (surreal experience) .
Location is very good quiet but still very close (3 min walk) to Canals and Leidseplein (=very central)
The breakfast is not at the standard of the 250euro + nightly rate. Please remove the "discover or enjoy the freshness" above your juices, There's not been a fresh fruit near them (horrible chemical taste). Bread was stale. Choice limited and a very cramped experience getting to breakfast bar.

Its location was nice.
The room we were assigned to was in the ground floor. The corridors leading to it were really filthy. The room itself was rather narrow. The bathroom was terrible, not properly cleaned, with stains on the walls, and the bathroom bin was not working.

Boutique feel and convenient position. Accessible vis car if need be and provided great haven for rest during the night.
The only issue, which is slight, was the window connects to the outdoor smoking area, making it easy for privacy issues to occur and forces you to tread lightly

The location is good. Its close to the museum quarter and Leidseplein. If you have a lot of luggage there is an elevator which some of these smaller hotels don't always have. That's about the only good things I can say.
For $500 a night this hotel was well below expectations. The room lacked storage and counter space, not even luggage racks were provided. Although it was deemed a family room it was very tight for a family of 4. No bottled water was provided which I would expect at this price for at least the first night. The shower drain was dirty and partially clogged. If this was $200 a night I would say its ok for a short stay but for the price it was not worth it.

Good location, and room was generally good, with a comfortable bed, and good bathroom..
The very tatty public areas and corridors. The carpets, stairs, other flooring, seats in the breakfast room etc were appalling!
