A fairly quiet side street, apart from the noisy argument between men in the street around 2 a.m.
Breakfast was poor. Insufficient choices. Carpeting throughout was filthy. The hotel overall was filthy. The beds were uncomfortable as were the pillows. The bathroom towels were grey, not white and they smelled unpleasant. They were not fresh. Dust was in the corners of the bathroom. Mark and stains on the walls The small mirror hadn't been cleaned for months. We were advised on arrival that there was no room service. If you wanted your bedroom serviced you had to use the QR code to place a request for the room to be serviced. Never in my life of travel have I had to us a QR code to request the bedroom to be serviced. There was no way in which to open the window, hence the bedroom was stuffy. The bedroom was very small and the bathroom tiny. One had to open the door to the room by moving one of the single beds out of the way of the path of the door.

This hotel is well located for walking into the city centre. Our room was adequately sized and quite comfortable. The staff at reception were very helpful and friendly and the breakfast provided was a good start to the day.
Carpet in the hallways badly stained and could do with a good clean or replacing, doesn't inspire confidence as you're first walking to your room.

Comfy bed, the staff were great and helped with everything I asked so that was very cheerful to me.
I had air conditioning and heating so I could choose what to turn on when hot or cold.
The room was a bit dark for me, the room didn’t have much lamps to light the entire room, just the front of the room. There were lamps at the end but it still felt dark to me.
Maybe that’s just the way it is but the water in the shower didn’t immediately went in the drains and stayed and piled up there, wasn’t that bad, just that I’m not used to it.

I absolutely loved the location. It's near Vondelpark and we were able to walk there within 5 minutes. It's also near the Delamar Theater, from also a 5ish minutes distance. The staff at the front desk was super friendly and was able to get our room ready sooner than expected.
The room we had was a four person room, we got an upgrade considering there was no 2 person room available at that time. It would've been more than fine, had the room been clean. There were ink spots in the white sheets of the bed and the bathroom was moldy and especially the shower cabin did not look like it had been cleaned at all. For a 4 person room, it was rather small. I wouldn't have been able to put four suitcases in this room and have been able to open it. The breakfast didn't have much choice as in food. it was very small, but it was enough for us. Don't expect some grand buffet here with a lot of choice.
All of this for the amount of money we paid for, was not worth it. I don't think I would return to this hotel again if the cleanliness doesn't improve.
