Great location; walking distance to the Amsterdam Centraal train station, the historical city center, shops and restaurants.
Hotel employees were all very friendly and accommodating. We were happy to see a fellow Asian (Virginia) among the Celia Restaurant staff. She was warm and most gracious.
I love the heavenly scent of the Marie Stella Maris room diffusers, candles and bath products.

You are obviously paying for location here. We paid extra for a balcony. This meant we had no window to open at night, so , so needed to use a/c as fifth floor room got very
Absolutely no room to unpack, no hanging space at all! We had to leave our clothes in cases. 2 coat hooks which also had to take bathrobes (no hooks in bathroom either) Bathroom light on one side so half your face is in darkness

the only thing that was right was the kind young girl at the front desk- the manager was not so kind and caring for the guests as her employee did. she should learn from them about hospitality. the prices were insanely high for a very average hotel. did you decide for yourselves that you are a 5 star hotel ? cause it's really not. I'm sorry but never again.

The food choices were diverse and everything I tried was delicious. Most of the the staff members were very friendly and attentive. Room was clean and well-maintained. The location is absolutely perfect—close to all the key attractions and in a very convenient area for exploring the city. It made getting around so easy and enjoyable.

Great location, quiet, excellent restaurants and bar attached - the breakfast spread was great. Lovely toiletries
Very little cupboard / storage space for suitcases, had to keep our 4 cases stacked alongside the wall.
The toilet seat was very close to the wall and washbasin - cramped for a larger size person
