Hotel is in an excellent location! My room was very quiet and comfortable. The breakfast buffet is an added cost but the food was good and there was a lot of variety. The staff was very friendly and helpful.
As other reviewers have noted, the bathroom is not particularly private. The walls are kind of like mounted glass so there are gaps and the door does not fully close. It's kind of hard to explain this. Not an issue for solo travel.

shower didn't work well. I couldn't change the water temperature, and the top part sprayed a little sideways. They were very nice when I told them as we checked out, but I didn't want to get out of shower late at night and have someone come fix (they suggested when I checked out I could have asked for help)

Breakfast buffet was superb. Great location, 10 minute walk to train station. Plus elevator to upper floor and our room was roomy and comfortable.
It was expensive but it was Kings Day and location was perfect.

Staff was exceptional! Very friendly and helpful, went above and beyond. Food at the restaurant was pretty good. Overall we had a good experience at the hotel. Location is great and very convenient for all activities around the city.
Room air conditioning wasn't working well and once we mentioned it they moved us to another room which had a similar situation. Mattresses and pillows weren't very comfortable.

The location is more than excellent. The staff are very friendly, and the rooms and the hotel are very clean. in general, that is satisfied with this hotel. if I need to come back, I will be coming here. Highly recommended.
The rooms that are as small as usual in Europe. We don’t have any windows on the roads, so it’s on the side road which not too bad for tourists and no balcony

The location is amazing ,, on the middle of everything
The room was extremely small—far below what I expected for the price. At this rate, you can definitely find much better value elsewhere with more comfortable space. Unfortunately, the restaurant and bar were also disappointing. Overall, not worth the cost. The only good thing is the location of the hotel is on the middle of everything.

Excellent location in the heart of the city. Historical building renovated keeping a lot of references to the past. Good bar/restaurant (better than most places nearby which are good too).

When we arrived, we were welcomed by a very friendly team. However, the experience went downhill after check-in. Although the room was listed as 22m², the layout (due to the attached bathroom placement) left absolutely no floor space to even open a suitcase. It is truly impractical for two people. We called reception to request an upgrade. They promised to call back in 10 minutes. After waiting 30 minutes with no response, we had to unpack to get ready for our dinner reservation, so we were forced to give up on moving rooms. Later, we realized the heating system wasn't working. We called reception again and were told, 'Someone will be there in 5 minutes; we don’t want you to be cold.' But guess what? No one came, and no one called back to follow up. Considering there are better, more central hotels available for the same price, I honestly don't know why we chose this one.

This hotel is amazing! Even the walls in the room help to guide you on what you can do while in Amsterdam! Central location made everything walkable and the staff was incredibly helpful with recommendations/tips. The food in the restaurant is also top notch. Thoroughly enjoyed my stay here!
