Good breakfast, happy hour at the club, location
The majority of the staff at the hotel were friendly and accommodating. The breakfast was good, and the Regency Club was well organized. The rooms were okay. Unfortunately, despite positives, our overall experience was disappointing.
The most disappointing part of our stay was how our departure was handled. There was no scale in the room, so the night before our departure, we called the front desk to ask whether the hotel had one available. We were told that a scale was available.
The following morning, as we were packing for our flight, my husband went to the front desk to ask about the scale. He was told by Mr. Loud, one of the managers, that the hotel did not have a scale and that providing one was not the hotel’s responsibility. We explained that we simply wanted to weigh one of our bags because we had a long international flight that morning and wanted to avoid an issue at the airport and we were told the night before that the hotel can provide one
Only after pleading for assistance, Mr. Loud eventually located a scale and offered to weigh the bag himself. However, he made it clear that he was “making an exception” and seemed unhappy that we had made the request.
The issue for us was not that a scale was unavailable in the room. We understand that all hotels cannot provide every possible amenity. What was disappointing was being told the night before that a scale was available, only to be told the next morning by a manager that it was not the hotel’s responsibility, followed by an attitude that made us feel as though we were asking for something unreasonable.
At a five-star hotel, particularly one where we paid more than $750 per night, we expected a more welcoming and solution-oriented approach. A simple request should not have turned into an uncomfortable interaction.
There were certainly positive aspects to our stay, but the way this situation was handled left us disappointed and scrambling to get to the airport on time.

The location is great. The room was spacious. Staff tried their best
The property feels very tired and desperately needs a refresh. The room was like a time capsule from 20 years ago. Still no idea how the AC works (and I grew up in a country where we all have AC). One of the sink was blocked. The black out curtains were partially broken and felt like they’ve never been washed in 10 years. Strange stains all over. Some of the chairs in the room the legs were half broken. The AC in the bedroom was hidden behind the tv we struggle to find it. The hot water takes 5 min before it starts to come out hot. The towels feel old and thin and dirty I think those towels must be 10 years old as well.
