Location was close to restaurants and easy access to canal and bike tours..
Our small room on the first floor was accessed by 2 extremely steep /treacherous sets of stairs.

Disappointing
Excellent staff. They were all kind, professional, helpful and kind - from housekeeping(very effecient and everything was extremely clean), to front desk and morning dining. Excellent deep tub great for soaking.
SHABBY! So sad - the holding company needs to invest in upgrading the property. This place needs new carpets, had plenty of old stains and worn out. The carpet overall is very out of date. The wallpaper in the dining room looks like its out of 1970 and so is the decor. Our bathroom needed painting too. Overall no real care and investment in details on the interior overall. Until this lovely hotel has a major upgrade we will not stay again. We had some heavy luggage - there are plenty of steps here and there - warning - if you think you are going to roll your luggage to an elevator - be prepared.

Great location just down the road from the park and city center, tram stops and close to museums. The Vondel apartment was perfect for traveling with kids, beautiful historic building, and we loved having use of our own laundry in the apartment.

Great Location and quite quirky property. Staff were very friendly and helpful, Rooms were comfortable
The lift broke down several times and moving luggage along the VERY steep stairways was tricky.

The location was excellent and breakfast options were good but re used some uneaten items so they were looking tired by the last day. The room was comfortable.
Staff attentiveness was just ok. For the amount you pay the expectation was a not met. Front desk smoking out on the back balcony was not a good look.
