Very Good
The beds were really comfortable, the shower was great and the room well insulated for noise from outside. Breakfast was very good with excellent quality ingredients served by welcoming, helpful staff. The location of the hotel was in a very peaceful area close to restaurants and the museums, easily commutable to anywhere in the city by tram.
The rooms were quite small, the aircon a bit confusing to use and sound isolation from other rooms not very good, The hotel was quite expensive, but this seems to be a trend in Amsterdam, wonderful city that is is.

Hotel is in a great location. Hotel staff, especially Victor, were helpful.
Layout of hotel is strange. Room was average. Poor lighting in bathroom and sinks drain slowly.

Large room and bathroom..plenty of room for 3. Felt safe at night. Front door locked after hours but staff immediately responded to ring. Nice bar area. Staff were all so helpful especially Vincent-carried our bags, helped get us settled in effortlessly, professional!! He is a treasure.

All staff were very friendly and helpful.
The room was spacious, clean and well equipped for a hotel room. We had a junior suite, so it was probably one of the larger rooms available. The windows did not open but the heating and AC worked well. It was very quiet, given the central location.
The breakfast buffet was very good.
The location is right by the museum quarter, and a 10 minute walk to main tourist areas of Amsterdam. It is a 40 minute walk to the train station, or the Keukenhoff (tulip) Garden bus pickup site. 30 minute taxi ride to the airport. (However 65 Euros! but that's not a fault of the hotel.)
Food and serving staff at the onsite restaurant was good, but the organization of it is a bit weak. The hours didn't match those posted for lunch, when we went for lunch staff at hotel reception said it was open, but no-one was there. When someone finally showed up we were informed it was not actually open yet.
I think the 4 star rating is maybe a little high. Technically it qualifies as 4 star because room service is available, but there is no fitness centre, pool, restaurant has limited hours, etc.
Just a note: We didn't have a problem with this, but it would be a difficult hotel for people with mobility issues. The hotel was created by combining 3-4 older different buildings, so there are multiple level changes and sets of steps in the hallways, elevators are small, the floors are not totally level everywhere.

Location is major asset, breakfast is really good.
"basement" rooms, numbers 101->, you hear every step people take in upper level (reception, bar/breakfast) so you can imagine that there was lots of noise, hard to sleep.

The staff were warm, welcoming. Short staffed at times and many people wearing many hats doing all they could for guests most especially Viktor. Construction workers out front even very nice and helpful. Very good stay
Phone system not working for room service but Viktor handled that well too.

The hotel is wonderful and the staff were very kind, especially Miko who was extremely helpful.
The bathroom had a high window with no curtains, which made me uncomfortable. When I informed the morning staff, they didn’t take my concern seriously and said no one would go up to see inside. However, you never know—someone might access the roof and look in. Honestly, it did not feel comfortable at all.
