The staff were always willing to help, and the location of the hotel is very good.
We woke up because of strange noises coming from the radiator, and the noise continued throughout the entire night. Even though the staff changed our room, we experienced a similar issue in the new room as well. In addition, the rooms on the top floor are very small, so you should definitely take this into consideration when making a reservation.

We were upgraded to a better room which was a nice surprise. It was spacious and clean with good facilities. The reception staff were very friendly and a shout out to Guillermo who even gave us a little gift when we left! Also,very convenient for the bus stop, less than 5 minutes walk, to get the 397 bus to the airport.
It was a bit hot at night and the air con unit didn't seem to work. A bit of noise occasionally from nearby rooms but generally quiet.

The location is great, in the heart of Leidseplein, minutes of walking distance to the museumsquartier and Vondelpark and the stops of main tram lines. You can find everything you need in the walking distance. Also can reach very easily to the Central station taking the tram. The staff were so welcoming and helpful. The room was super clean and comfortable, had all the facilities for a great stay. Strongly recommended!

Located near Leidseplein but in a quiet side street, the hotel is a calm oasis in the bustling city. Our room at the top floor was spacious and quite striking with its exposed wooden beams. We‘d choose the Catalonia again!
