Wonderful
Located near Leidseplein but in a quiet side street, the hotel is a calm oasis in the bustling city. Our room at the top floor was spacious and quite striking with its exposed wooden beams. We‘d choose the Catalonia again!

The staff were very friendly and helpful, we had to be moved rooms due radiator issues but we got upgraded to a nicer room we were happy however there were some light bulbs out in the bathroom and the one that worked flickered.

Fantastic location and a wonderful surprise upgrade to a suite made our stay even more special. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our visit. We had an amazing time and will definitely return on our next trip to Amsterdam

Location was great, the staff were really friendly and pleasant - looking to help where possible. the loft was large, had a big living area. easy to find and good transport links.
It was fairly expensive, one of the bedrooms in the loft was high in the roof, I couldn't stand up straight in there, i ended up getting changed in the living room which was very large. Our room wasn't ready for check-in we had to wait 5-10 mins, however the staff did hurry up the cleaner.
