Disappointing
This is one of several hotels in its neighborhood that are close to the main museums and the Concertgebouw. The kitchen and cleaning staff worked hard to make up for a very poorly maintained facility.
It cost more than $400/night. The hallway to my room was dilapidated. The doorways had chipped paint. The stairs had torn carpet. The hall carpet and walls had stains. The stairways to other floors are very steep and the steps have shallow treads. If there was a fire and the elevator couldn't be used, they would be challenging. The room I was in was supposed to be an "Executive" room. The wardrobe was assemble-at-home type furniture and had stains on the doors. The other furniture should have been replaced years ago. It was chipped, scraped, and stained. The bathroom sinks were damaged and had old stains.

Staff super friendly. Beds supper comfy and the rooms both spacious and clean. Great location with a tram line just a few minutes walk from the hotel.

Location is good, close to main museum and restaurants.
The room is quite old, the bathroom is too small and very inconvenient to use, and the refrigerator barely cools. The room's sound insulation is poor — you can hear guests moving around in the corridor.

Neat and clean accomodation. Check in was good (free glass of fizz) and lovely man who took the bags up was really positive. Hotel is quiet and away from noisy crowds and traffic.
Bath to shower converter had to be pulled just right to make it work.

It was on a quiet street, close to a tram stop and the park. Comfortable beds and helpful staff.
The shower was prone to leaking under the glass door but otherwise no complaints. There was construction going on outside of our window, but luckily we were there on a weekend so no active work was being done.
