Gorgeous building, setting and location. Perfect for a city break where you want a comfortable bed at the end of a long day. Beautifully styled interiors and very comfy bed. The location is perfect for those not wanting to stay in the chaos of the centre. Located near the museums, but with so many great eateries close by. Great bar and reception area for meeting with friends before heading out.
Unfortunately, the AC wasn’t working and rooms were hot with hard to open windows/noise of the streets flooding in when open. But this was sadly just the time we stayed and would hope the AC issue will be resolved soon.

I took 3 rooms for my family , all of the were very poor. Cost performance It was the worst rooms I ever had . Bad service NO air in the room Have to climb stairs to get to the room - no elevator

Very helpful and friendly staff, provided me with ironing board, converter plug, ear muffs and helped me with TV screen mirroring on request. A good breakfast with late check out (12pm) very much appreciated. Good location.
There was a lot of noise outside with cars honking all night one night of my stay. To be fair this may have been related to a festival taking place in Amsterdam, and not the normal situation, but I could also hear people in the next room, meaning the sound proofing was not there or could be improved. The hotel was otherwise clean and comfortable but somewhat bland and nothing special and was not worth the hotel rate in my view. The water pressure was low in the shower and I could not find a climate control device in the room. The lift did not work one night when I was there (it was fine for me as I am young and fit but not great for others) and the corridors (not the rooms which are modern) are very dated.
