Lovely hotel in nice location staff attentive to every detail, no real faults to report
Failed the Margherita pizza test sadly, 20 minutes for plain very doughy pizza, could only eat less than half and that was too much

Location was on point an the bed was amazing
The staff werent inviting at all on arrival the facities were not explained or even mentioned other then the breakfast was on offer for the week we turned up very wet as the rain was heavy on the way from train station an instead of asisting us we was asked if i had enough money for the booking as i wanted to pay cash for my stay of course i had enough cash just a rude thing to say. We had a widow open broken so couldnt be closed and this is the start of decemeber we stayed and the was building works goin on over the road so we were woken up every morning early as we couldnt close the window and wasnt warned or comindated for the disruption and the heating was off an we had no control of turning it on. We also had to deal with the cleaners making noise having loud converstion and loughing outside our door ealry in the morming aswel. We had a jet bath in our room didnt work olug was faulty annthe tap wouldnt go hot so pointless the shower was faulty should had two heads it had one and a hole, undernether the toilet was flithy so for a hooney moom wasnt the best as the last two hotels ive stayed at ij dam have been amazing all round this was a disappointment

The location, it is close to the center of Amsterdam, and there are a lot of good restaurants nearby. The first room didn’t go well with us as it was to the street and bad windows, but we got a new room right away and found that the reception staff were super helpful in general.
The floor was uneven, which also meant that the bed was not level, so we had the feeling that we would roll out of bed during the night. We ordered 2 Heineken at the bar, but was served something else as they were out. That would be fine if we where informeres about it in advance.
